I went for a wedding. A good church for a wedding with plenty of seating - there's downstairs and a gallery as well. Good sound system and visuals if needed. There is a hall at the side for tea coffee and cake for people to gather in. The toilets are good. The people are welcoming and it had all been set out nicely. There is limited parking on the roads outside - a few 2 hour places. Otherwise there is a Q Park place on Chatham Place nearby.

A very welcoming, bible-centered church, close to the town centre, with a strong emphasis on preaching, prayer and evangelism. Worship music is a mixture of contemporary and traditional.

Amazing church, especially for students who are university in the area. They truly put the bible at the heart of everything they do and its so incredibly welcoming and warm. They make such a strong effort to fully help integrate both UK students and international students with both each other and the general congregation. Couldn't recommend enough.

We attend service here. Many couples with children came here too. Sunday school for children up to 13 . I love the church for the pastors there care for their members. Preaching is biblical grounded. Home groups are reconstructed to life group which is Bible study + life sharing and prayer.

I have been attending this church for the past 1,5 years - and I feel spoilt by God, that He had led me here. This was the first church on my list I went to after moving to Reading, and although I wanted to go around a couple of churches and then choose, after that first Sunday service I felt I dont need to look anywhere else... I have found everything I considered important in a church. We received one of the nicest welcomes ever in this church. The sermon was gospel- centred - and it is always so. I can't think of a better word to describe the church as a whole actually, than gospel-centred. There are no personal or dogmatic agendas emphasized, the message of the cross is the most important, everything else comes second. The friendliness of the people and the extensiveness and diversity of the different ministries well reflect a church transformed by the power of the gospel of God. It is a big church, but well organized, with lots of different group programs, so it is easy to get to know people well and become part of God's earthly family here. Worship is a mix of traditional hymns and modern worship songs. For me the only negative was that I was only used to small churches before, so it took me some time to get used to a big church... but it was well worth the effort. On the whole I can only recommend it! :-)

Absolutely cracking church - coherent and applicable Gospel centred Bible teaching - wide range of activities for young, old, married, single, etc. - mixture of modern and traditional worship - strong focus on building community both within and outside the congregation. I would wholeheartedly recommend Carey to anyone, whether you have known and loved God for decades or are just mildly curious about what Christians believe.

Very big church though there was some spaces when we got there. Family oriented church with dozens of activities. Worship is a mixture of hymns and modern songs. All welcome to the morning service
