V. T.This church was built from scratch in 1863 by James Picton, who as an architect is best known for his buildings in Liverpool. It is a sound piece of Gothic design, but nothing special inside. The old church was located down by the river to the north-west, and is now a neglected ruin.
The worshipping community is under the same administration as the church at Barkham nearby, and like it is "Low Church" or Evangelical Protestant. It meets on Sundays at 10:00.
