J. M.Modern, clean and aseptic church. From the outside you cannot tell how austere is the inside. It is not bad, it simply lacks any tourist interest

J. Z.Amazing people, they were very warm and welcoming! They serve tea, coffee and snacks on Sundays.
Recently refurbished, also with free parking for those going to church on a Sunday.
(At the time of writing,) they have a 9:15 traditional service, 10:30 informal, modern family service, and 6:30 informal service.
Their music is of a high standard, contemporary and uplifiting.
I recommend a visit!
J. A.For me a doubly-important place. A wonderful Parish Church, it is also where the Football Team I follow started out.
P. C. T.I haven't been inside but the outside is a place that deserve a quick visit. The field around is quiet and offers you good sights of the church. The church looks good and almost impressive. Is not like other touristic buildings in Southampton that they are in busy areas, this is standing alone with a lot of space around.
S. C.Lovely to see the inside of St Mary's clean again. Great to know the younger generations are making a spiritual home here. They need an extension .... where has the devotional statue of St. Mary gone? Was used by so many cultures to aid prayers.

W. C.Idyllically located within the walls of Portchester Castle. Lovely living church with masses of history. The adjoining tearoom is a delight. Dogs are allowed at the tables at the back of the church but not in the tearoom itself. There is a water bowl and a jar of treats for canine friends.

H. b. 2.Lovely church that has had lots done to it ,ie cleaning inside of the church ,ramp built to help wheelchair users,I myself havnt yet been to a service but I do hope to go one Sunday,as the people are very nice that I spoke to when they were tidying up the outside of the church well worth a visit .
V. E.St.Marys church has some of the oldest oak trees in Southampton, they are huge.
The ground around the church is surprizingly peaceful and a safe place to exersize my Jack Russell dog.

C.My stars are based on memories of my last visit, the Church was closed ,a sad testimony to our age, personally I would have preferred a ruin than closed doors which I'm sure is not the message our Lord would want us to portray.
