Such a special welcome: the faith this place professes rings deeply true here. I felt like one of the family from the moment I walked in the door. Unusually for a parish church of our time, it has a choir, and the musical side was a great plus. The building itself has a surviving medieval aisle; the rest is nineteenth century. Movingly, you can see the church tower as you travel east along the M4; the town sits atop a ridge. A town full of life, with a superb High Street.

The church is an interesting collection of old and new. a lovely carving being the Main (traditional) Altar of the Magi presenting their gifts (note the wolf heads around the edge. there is also a cross made of shell casing (Camp Bastion Cross), which was presented to the Church for it's role in the reparation ceremonies. While there is a modern altar in front of the Choir stalls. They have a wide range of Church services, but it is firmly in the "middle" of the 'Church of England', with it's modern decorations and lack of Icon in the Lady Chapel. There is also the 'Croft' which is an intimate cafe and Church Shop.

Beautifully kept historic Parish Church with a wonderful programme of community, school, and musical events, as well as the usual church services. There is a brass war memorial plaque at the back of the church; the beautiful oak screen to the left of the plaque forms part of the memorial.
