It's always wonderful to visit this church. Such a peaceful place to be. It has even more to offer than the ceiling- spectacular though that is. The stained and etched glass is wonderful and the shop is well worth a visit. You are guaranteed a very warm welcome.

This is an amazing replica of the Sistene Chapel ceiling but sort of better because it is a lot lower than the original so you can see all the details. There are volunteers who give you a little talk about the history of the ceiling. Well worth a visit.

From outside village hall, inside awesome. Full of light from numerous stained glass windows. Ceiling covered with beautiful copy @ 2/3 scale Sistine chapel. Add quirky Last supper, magnificent. Booked visit by phone, greeted at entrance, and after seating, gave us a fantastic resume of church, artist ( still around). After that free to look around, take pic's, no rush. All for a voluntary donation.

Wow, this church ceiling is amazing. So absolutely astonishing that a local artist took on the task and painted it solely in 5 years. MUST visit. Brilliant.

WOW a Roman church in Goring. A true work of art and folk to answer any questions. Free to go in but you can buy more indepth info for just a £1. Worth a visit but check for 'visiting' times although services are held there too

It is great! Please check viewing times but you get to see the Sistine chapel without traveling to the Vatican. Ok, it is a scaled down version but still worth a visit

Definitely worth seeing if not planning to visit the real Sistine Chapel :) Lovely community, willing to help and explain! Information sheets also offered about the ceiling as well as an interpretation of the last supper and other visuals in the church :) Make sure to check out opening times and when they have events and mass planned to ensure you arrive at a suitable time for you :)

Went to see Sistine Chapel paintings on ceiling. Amazing!! A work of love and faith. The fact you can study them at your leisure adds to the experience. None of the hubbub you get in the Vatican.

This is a very different church. It is covered in paintings that can be seen in the Sistene Chapel Rome. You can go in and see them at no charge, however donatone will be accepted. The parish priest is a very friendly old Irishman. What a wonderful experience. Can be enjoyed without the crowds that are in Tome.
