C. K.Very friendly and welcoming church. Relaxed, but a real sense of God.
A.A fairly new build of a church when you think how old a church normally is. Sited in the beating heart of back to back terrace housing and originally built for the railways workers this small but quite spacious church is undergoing some change. As well as the usual worship the offering is being expanded to being in younger people and to help give them more purpose while trying to help give them better life skills. Very easy to reach down the side of the river (5 minutes) directly into the city centre.
J. E.This is a lovely church, with a wonderful big stain glass window,which looks beautiful when sun is shining on it . Great set of people you meet here. They have a coffee morning on Monday 10 -12pm. Cakes/toast/crumpets/ tea & coffee. Welcome to all ages ,they only ask for a contribution in a pot for what you have. They even do a quiz and raffle. They also do playgroup which is free Tuesday morning, so mums /dad's /grandparents or childminders can meet up and let kids play while they drink tea or coffee. They have a Sunday service every Sunday from 10.15 - 11.30 with refreshments after. You should come along for a great welcome and friendly place to worship. This is for people of all ages.
