Oddly my review is going to start with saying they sent me the wrong boots; but it is how they dealt with it that earns this shop 5 stars. They were helpful, paid for the return and sorted the correct boots for me. They kept me informed throughout and just delivered what they said. I probably wouldn’t have left a review if the order was normal but you know a company by how they handle problems and these are first class. I’ll definitely be back.

Mens clothing stores are a rare find in the UK, especially one with some unique and special brands. This 2-Floor shop is a nice exception. Mainly focusing on the higher-class 20 to 45 years old, but certainly also some good for the older ages. I have no experience with customer service yet, but the help I got was patient, helpful and with good knowledge.

Absolutely love this gaff. I make sure to visit everytime I'm in Brighton and staff are always friendly and helpful. Website is also great. Recently bought a pair of G pants with (FREE) standard delivery and they were delivered the very next morning.

I’ve ordered a few summer bits online from peggs & son over the last month and their service has been fantastic. Any questions I’ve had over the phone or via social media have been answered promptly and honestly. Plenty of delivery options with safe and secure packaging. The videos they put together on Instagram are a nice touch too. 100% recommended and I’ll definitely be using them in the near future!

I have been shopping, online, from Peggs & Son for a few years now and l can genuinely state that it is one of my favourite stores/sites. The innovative range of clothing and footwear (l hadn’t heard of the trainer brand Karhu prior to looking on Peggs’ site as an example and, let’s just say, l have purchased quite a few since!) is superb and the prices are always spot on. Also the delivery times are amazing (particularly as l stay in the opposite end of the country)! It’s important to support independent retailers and when it comes to clothing, footwear and accessories then Peggs & Son cannot be recommended highly enough. One of the very best!

Quickly becoming one of my favourite menswear stores. Got a Norse crew for a ridiculous price in an in-store sale on a visit to Brighton a while back. I still talk about that steal today! It was a nice store with great service. Ordered a couple of Norse shirts in their online sale this morning. They were reduced to the same price as elsewhere but they were offering an additional 15% off. Not only that, I picked free postage and they've dispatched today and it's due to arrive tomorrow, you can't argue with that! The only small negative is some functionality lacking from their site such as filters and order by but I'll let them off...

haven't visited the store so can only speak of my online experience - great little store with a fantastic selection. i was after some nice relaxed shorts for the summer and their collection was just right; they quite obviously curate their brand offering in that you're not completely overwhelmed with options which for me is the mark of a good store selling menswear like this. sizing of pieces is clear and nice short descriptions describing the essence of each. i frequently check out the looks on their site for style inspiration, which is a nice personal touch. will be sure to visit the store in person if i am in brighton!

Such an excellent store and the only place I would go to buy for my husband gift. He is very hard to buy for and even after 18 years of being with him I struggle. Whenever I have been into Peggs and Sons the staff are so helpful and always manage to find me something perfect for him and within my chosen budget. It’s definitely worth seeking out this shop for menswear. I visited recently during the sale period and the shop was mayhem - however the staff were lovely fetching sizes for me that weren’t on the shop floor and being generally very friendly - as I was buying a gift the refund policy was clearly (and politely) pointed out to me before I made my purchase. I went to the shop today to see and size up a couple of shirts. There was no changing room but given Covid I fully understand the sales limiitations of an indendepdent retailer. Two members of staff were able to give me honest advice and impressively accurate perspective on sizing. This included some intersting points about washing and size changeage. They also told me they are happy to take store credit for any exchange if the sizing didnt work. The products, while at a premium price fitted perfectly and I am thrilled with my purchasees. To be honest when I came in I was in my tired work clothes but yet the shopping experience was fully non judgemental. I really appreciate the boutique feel of P&S and it is clear the staff are passionate about Menswear. I am looking forward to returning and supporting a long standing stalwart of the Brighton clothing scene.

Good place to go for quality clothes. There's some crazily priced pretentious nonsense, but also some solid, well made & good looking clothes that are worth paying extra for. They'll look better and last longer than the mass produced branded junk that most places sell.

Nice shop/clothes, shame about the lack of mirrors in the changing room, really annoying. This is an old fashioned 'lanes mafia' technique where you are forced out of the comfort and privacy of the changing room into the glare of the shop and ever praising shop assitants who insist that everything you try on looks great, and if they only have a smaller size of the item you want then the said item 'comes up big', and of course if they only have a larger size item of the item you want it 'comes up small'! But the mirrors thing, really, it stops me from shopping there.

I have shopped here for years when they were at their first premises near Duke lanes. Super selection of gear and the owner is a gent.
