We visited Pretty Eccentric as my wife was looking for a dress for a special occasion. We were so glad that we did. The service here is excellent. The sales lady was friendly, helpful, knowledge and nothing was too much trouble. My wife found the perfect outfit. Don't miss this gem of a shop.

What a treasure trove of delicious fabulous dresses and accessories. Unique but so totally wearable. Will be my go to for any special occasion. The assistant (young lady with glasses) was so helpful and passionate about the shop. Encouraged me to play and made it a really fun experience.

Bought a beautiful dress for my girlfriend's birthday, having visited the shop, together, and been very impressed with the style of their range. Had to do this online due to lockdown. A slight delay in delivery (it's not easy for small retailers at the moment) but was kept well informed of the process. A wonderful piece of clothing. Fitted perfectly. Very happy!

For my prom, I came in during September 2021 and purchased a pistachio green ruffle dress, a white bolero, a feather hairpiece, and a matching green necklace and earrings. I cannot even begin to describe how wonderful it was! Just stepping inside feels like being cast back into the Roaring 20s. Personally, my aesthetics are quite vintage, so to be able to find a shop that caters exactly to my tastes was a miracle. But back to the reason for this review. The dress I got was made with so much thought behind it. The styling around the bust was simplistic and enabled me to show off my jewellery and bolero, while the skirt of the dress was ruffled. I was able to hide the food-bump I'd gotten after the evening meal and stay looking fabulous all night. It's not something I would have gone for immediately, but the staff makes sure you test your comfort zone by picking out things you might look good in, and I was pleasantly surprised. Unlike a lot of TNC boutiques, like Primark and Select, the woman at PE who served me was so kind and hands-on. Not only did she look after me and make sure I got what I was looking for, but she also took the time to get to know me. All in all, this shop has a dress for every occasion and I look forward to going back and getting something for my next big do.

Pretty Eccentric has absolutely stunning dresses, which are unique and beautifully cut. I was torn between two, when I went shopping before Christmas for a new dress. I purchased one, brought it home and then instantly knew I had made the wrong decision. So, I contacted the store and they put the other dress behind for me. I sent the dress I had bought back and they exchanged it for dress number two, which arrived safely! I am extremely happy with my purchase and cannot thank the ladies in the store enough for swapping it for me by post, when I live over two hours' drive away. I have received many lovely compliments when wearing it. I love this shop and will be back!

The stylish ladies in Pretty Eccentric were pretty excellent at making me feel pretty and posh. I honestly thought they would have nothing to fit my larger size. I was given a personal shopper style experience with 3 dresses, shoes, jewellery and accessories to match. All chosen to suit my shape and colouring and each would have been perfect for Goodwood Revival and a Gatsby themed evening. I was restrained and took the dress and blush ostrich feathers but I'm sure I'll be back for more accessories in the future. Thank you ladies.

This is possibly my favourite dress shop ever! Visited to begin the hunt for a mother of the bride outfit and although I didn't find that - I did manage to establish a particular style/designer that would work nearer the date. I did find the most sumptuous and flattering velvet dress to wear at Christmas - this was with the very helpful advice and guidance from a staff member. I had a lovely experience there yesterday although didn't buy anything. Tried on lots of lovely dresses although shame about the awful reviews for the online shopping. One thing I will say, the dresses are tiny, I always wear a size 10 but needed a 12. These dresses aren't cheap so I was surprised as cheap clothes often come up small I find. The lady serving was so helpful and gave us lovely service so I would definitely go back but not sure I would shop online!

Ordered the Yazzy dress in size 12, it was a little tight around my bust and I needed it for a wedding in Morocco, although out of the 28 day return period, the girls at Pretty Eccentric were more than happy to sell me the size 14 and accept one of the unworn dresses back for a full refund...once I had decided which was the best fit. I stuck with the 14 which fitted nicely around my top half. The dress travelled well in my case and had no creases. It got many compliments and certainly didn't look shabby against all the very expensive Moroccan caftans. I had an amazing experience and I am looking forward to being able to wear my dress again! I would certainly recommend Pretty Eccentric to anyone looking for something special and a bit different. Thank you!

Bought a gorgeous vintage style red lace dress for a New Year’s Eve wedding - great quality & value, Pretty Ecentric staff very helpful and attentive to detail - really looking forward to buying from the new spring range & for another opportunity to wear the red dress, maybe next time without the red patent Doc Martens!
