M. R.Great shop to go to with little ones. I have a 14 month old and she loved wandering around the toy department and marvelling at the many different toys, books and games. They have a few of the toys out so the kids can have a play on them. There is also a little reading area where they can sit on little beanbags and have a read.
The cafe is good, they do a lovely caramel latte!
The soft play area is decent, but can get very busy at weekends and during half term.
T. V.My wife and I visited today to have a general look around as our first proper visit to get a bit more knowledge on baby stuff. We were soon asked if we'd like any assistance from Alana-May when initially looking at prams, she was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, knew a lot of detail on all the pluses and minuses of each brand and asked questions to understand the best product to suit our lifestyle. She then also helped us with car seats, which again she was brilliant at and were more than happy to order one based on her recommendation. We couldn't have asked for more.

C. S.I’m a mother of one and am pregnant with my second child. I never used a maternity bra during my last pregnancy however I was recommended that I should get one this time around as I had a lot of discomfort before. I had looked at previous reviews of John Lewis and marks and Spencer’s and noticed how quite a few people had not liked their experience there but instead had gone to a Mothercare store (I never actually knew that they did bra fittings and the best thing is they’re free and you don’t have to book prior to going in). I had an amazing assistant help me, I recall her saying her name was Gemma. She made me feel confident in her ability and she knew what she was talking about, she had said that she had been with the company for a while now and you could tell that she had with her excelling knowledge! She is a credit to the team, definitely coming back!
G. X.Went in recently with a shopping list (for new born) printed off the internet, planing to buy everything on it, since I’m a first time parent. The saleslady there was super nice and helpful, picked car seat for me and patiently explained everything that I need to know about every item on the list. “You don’t need that ! I have three kids and I survived without that !” “Get this instead, same item, cheaper price!” “You’ll be fine, don’t panic, you don’t need to buy everything on the list !” Most importantly, she gave me the best advice ever —which is don’t listen to any other advices ! Raise your kid the way you wanted ! ! Great place for newborn one stop shopping.

Alana-May knew I was baffled with all the variety of seats available and immediately put me at ease with her obvious expert knowledge and skills of fitting these seats. She is an asset to Mothercare who went above and beyond supplying me with a seat. Thank you, I will be recommending you highly.
F. W.In terms of the range of products on offer the store is excellent. However the facilities are surprisingly poor. After a 45min journey I needed the toilet and my baby needed a feed. I had him in a pram, and there was no toilet cubicle I could take the pram into with me. There is a ladies room with standard size cubicles, or a big communal changing room with no toilet. So I had to park my baby by the sinks in the ladies loo and go with the cubicle door open! I then went to use the breastfeeding room and there seemed to be no functioning lights, and no staff member around to ask, so the only option was to feed in the cafe and buy something. The cafe itself was so overcrowded with chair and tables that navigating to a free table with a pram (around lots of other prams and pushchairs) was nigh impossible. All in all not the parent-friendly experience I imagined!
J. M.Small play area and reading corner which is great, plus a cafe and soft play at the back (extra £). A nicely laid out branch with a good selection of products, but really short staffed which let it down and I left without buying the car seat I wanted as a result.

B. G.My partner and I went to Mothercare in Cribbs on two consecutive days - in search for the perfect car seat!
We were greeted by Olly when struggling to decide between car seats on the initial day. Olly was so informative and helpful and had complete knowledge of the different safety mechanisms for each car seat - with every query we had Olly was able to answer!
The following day, we were met by the lovely Lucy S, whom was so friendly and ready to help us with anything! It was a very busy shopping day and we spent a while deciding in the car park between two car seats, but she stayed with us every step of the way without making us feel like we were a burden and helped us all the way to the end of our journey - we are now waiting for our perfect new Britax Romer Dualfix M i-size to be delivered!
We felt like we were at home today, thank you so much Mothercare!

Feeling a bit downhearted tried a mothercare and met Gemma who did a great job of making me feel comfortable and had lots to offer in my size. She was very good at offering advice but listening to me aswell. She seemed knowledgeable and I felt confident in her ability. Thank you Gemma.
