What a dream come true the Shortlist is - beautiful, fashionable clothes specifically for petite girls! I ordered the Lydia skirt from the most recent collection and she is gorgeous - so luxurious and the length is just perfect. I have never really been able to wear skirts (especially midi) as they just don't fit properly so I am so pleased that I invested in this piece and will be able to wear her through the seasons and years. Laura really gives a personal touch to her collections and her customer service and I hope to be able to order again and again from the Shortlist.

Just perfection from beginning to end!!! Been following Laura and The Shortlist since the start and feel extremely honoured, grateful, lucky and proud to now be the owner of one of her amazing and perfectly proportioned creations!! My experience purchasing my beautiful dress was just A+ from beginning to end, Laura cares about it all, and this is shown in bucketloads in the piece you end up owning, the packaging and the aftercare. The sizing guide could not be more perfect and I just knew that my velvet Evelyn dress would fit me like a glove and she does (I cannot wait to unveil her to everyone!). The skill, time and effort put into every item is so evident, as a vertically challenged person I've never owned a dress that fits like glove..... But this one does!!!!! And I adore her (and Laura for creating her ❤️). If you are a petite person please do yourself a favour and #SHOPTHESHORTLIST your body will thank you for it 😘

The Shortlist is an incredible new brand and the owner Laura is lovely and extremely helpful. I wasn’t sure what size to go for and Laura encourages people to message her when they are unsure on size so that’s what I did. She asked for my measurements and offered me advice. The size that I ordered turned out to be perfect! The quality of the clothes is also superb. I ordered the Daphne dress which fits and looks so lovely! It is extremely flattering and also very comfy to wear. I’d recommend this brand to anyone who’s looking for unique clothes with superb quality!

I discovered Laura on Linkedin and have been following her journey ever since. This is an amazing brand. I have just made my first purchase and I am absolutely delighted, the quality and fit are both second to none and worth every penny. The aftercare from Laura is amazing, I had a query and needed a little reassurance about the fit, Laura instantly replied to my message and gave me the confidence that I needed. I am so excited to see the next launch. I should also add that I am a more mature lady and although Laura's brand are aimed at the thirties if you are fashion conscious, short and in your fifties this brand can absolutely work for you too.

This is the brand I have been looking for all my adult life! As a petite woman, I've never really found anywhere that provides stylish, high quality, sustainable clothing, that fits and flatters my proportions - until now! I ordered a 'Tansy' skirt in the first ever collection and it fit beautifully, was very flattering and comfortable, and really feels like a timeless piece that I will keep for a long long time. I went straight back when the second collection was released, and ordered three more pieces! The founder (also named Laura) is always on hand to give personal advice on sizing, fit and styling, as well as just general excellent customer service. I'm excited to see where this brand goes and can't wait for future collections and developments.

I have been following The Shortlist and Laura's journey from the beginning. The items that Laura has produced are lovely. I purchased Astrid, a beautiful dress with a fitted bodice and flowing skirt. I trusted the size guide (although I was skeptical) and bought the size 6. It fits perfectly! (Photo to follow when it stops raining...) So does the length, I'm only 5" with short legs so normally struggle to get mid to long dresses (and trousers) that don't need altering. The price was more than I was expecting but, as my husband pointed out, it is a very good quality dress, designed for short people and made in the UK. The personal note that came with it was also a lovely touch and made me feel valued. I wait in excited anticipation for the next collection. :D

I purchased the Tansy skirt and I love it! The skirt is gorgeous, great quality and fits me perfectly as if it was made for me. Given that I am only 4ft 10 this is hard to find in petite clothing. Laura, the owner, is amazing and makes the experience very personal. She makes you feel like you are part of the process and takes the time to ensure you are happy with your purchase (she took the time at the weekend to send me pictures of how to measure for the pieces). I cannot wait for the next collection.

I consider myself fortunate enough to be one of the girls that found The Shortlist before it fully launched.... I've followed (stalked!) Instagram daily, enjoying Laura's humour and dedication to succeed, and I promised myself I'd buy a piece to help support the business. Laura's customer service skills are second-to-none, and my lovely Margot was with me at lightening speed. I've already tried her on and can't believe the fit... I'm about 5"2', and what I'd consider a curvy petite- I've got quite a small waist but a big bum and Margot fits like she was tailored to my body... even the length is perfect. I know some people might be put off by the price, but this is a British owned brand doing it's bit to combat fast fashion and employ British designers, tailors and I think it's amazing. I'm so glad I took a chance on the LinkedIn post I came across. Laura, can't wait to see what you do next... roll on AW21!! Xx

I have followed The Shortlist since the beginning of 2021, always looking forward to have at least one piece of the first collection designed and made for petite girls, when I finally got my Margot skirt I was so positively surprised not only by the great quality of the materials and the so-favorable shape (and length!) but also by the warmth and love put into the Customer Service from Laura that I cannot more than highly recommend The Shortlist and be thankful of such a great customer service. It seems like in a world of fast fashion, micro trends, and 70% off sales no one really cares about fit anymore. Maybe that’s fine when you are 5”8 and model for Zara, but when you are 5”2 it’s significantly more challenging. The thought and care that Laura puts into every single one of her pieces is made evident not only through her hilarious (and very interesting) social media, but in the pieces themselves. The fit is perfect, and fabric spot on, the design is fashion forward whilst still being timeless - a new classic. These are special pieces to be looked after and enjoyed for years to come. Amazing! I am 5ft 2 and I’m top heavy and have always struggled finding clothes that fit ‘just right’. I bought ‘Elise’ and it’s honestly like she was made for me. Amazing quality and a true investment piece I will keep forever. I’m definitely going to save up and invest in more pieces for the future and would recommend to absolutely everybody (5ft 3 and under at least!). Feel really proud to have bought one of the early pieces of what I am sure will grow to be a really well known and loved brand.

I was in awe when the package came and I tried the Elise on. I don't think I've ever had a dress fit this well before. I'm just under 4'10" and I have to say, this fits so well.
