Excellent customer service and excellent quality suits. Had an issue with suit sizes for one of our party but Brigdens stepped up to the mark and even with Easter bank holiday they managed to send a new suit up to Leek,Staffordshire via pre 10.30am delivery the next day.This ensured we all looked great for the wedding! Special thanks to Paul who professionally managed the situation.

Visited today to buy a new suit for a wedding I’m attending. I was greeted as we entered and offered help straight away. I received great service from Jen who measured me up and showed me some suits to choose from. I chose a grey Hugo Boss suit which she made some alterations for me. Amazing service throughout.

So, I first dealt with Dean back in 2020, who assisted me in organising a suit for my wedding in 2021. After giving Dean some ideas, colours choices & designs that I liked, I chose one of the Brigdens suits. We also chose to go for a similar suit, the “Shrewsbury” which Dean suggested within the hire wear department. Lee the Wedding Department Manager, dealt with my best-man & groomsmen. Unfortunately due to covid, we had to delay our full wedding reception until June 2022, in which we pushed back hiring the suit until then, Lee was more than happy to support us with this. We did however get married in 2021, wearing my suit (as seen in the pictures) which I also wore again for our wedding reception this year, & its still going strong. Now to comment on some parts of our experience that have been bad! On the run up to our wedding in 2021, I had my shirt tailored, on receiving it I found it to have numerous stains, like it had been worn for a long time, which appeared to be from sweat. I only wore the shirt twice once during alterations/pinning and second when trying on Saturday. Also the shirt was tailored terribly, leaving long flaps of shirt to make it smaller. I thought this would of been dealt with, but when meeting with Paul Dharam within the store, he suggested that I had made the stains, & made me feel it was my fault. My second bad experience was shortly before our wedding reception this year, one of my groomsmen received completely the wrong sized trousers, & due to the time scale they managed to get more trousers days before the day. Once back home I looked at the size, & some how I was given exactly the same size. This caused the groomsmen to swap & change the trousers creating unnecessary stress on our day! As you can see, a mixed review of both goods & bad points, but unfortunately the bad outweigh the good hence the rating I have given!

1st October 2022 Wedding Outstanding service! Warm and helpful staff! We bought a gorgeous green tweed suit for my husband for our wedding and hired four other tweed suits for our groomsman and one child’s tweed suit for my nephew! Everyone of the guests said how wonderful they all looked and how well the suits fitted even despite them being hired. My husbands suit especially got a lot of praise. We bought his and had it tailored through the Bridgens. This was an incredibly easy process because the staff were so helpful and accommodating. It really took the stress away from the situation and just made it fun. Thank you so much Bridgens team!

I really like this store. It has some lovely pieces of clothing for men and the staff are so friendly and helpful, which in turns makes you want to return to the store. It's very nicely laid out and seems to flow really well. I like the range that they have for men, and I think the prices are reasonable for the quality provided. The store has a nice atmosphere to it, and I like the fact that the staff do not pounce on you and sell hard. Instead they'll check in with you then leave you to browse which I think is great! I visited Brigdens Menswear to obtain a new outfit to wear at my daughters forthcoming wedding, Paul served me, nothing is too much trouble for him, he was happy to search through their stock to get my chosen items in the best fit and has arranged minor alterations to make sure the fit will be perfect. Quality is never cheap and Brigdens only supply quality clothing. I am very happy with the service I received.

What a fantastic experience with Brigdens in Derby! Definitely highly recommended for a successful and stunning look at a wedding. A very professional approach and excellent taste from Paul at Brigdens is what got us the amazing looking and perfect to wear navy Van Gils three piece suits for our wedding. Not only great products and great service but also incredible flexibility in alterations: we had people travelling from abroad arriving only a few days before the wedding, but alterations got done extremely quickly and reliably on time for the wedding. I recently went to Brigdens to buy a couple of shirts for work. However, when i got there I relalised they were shut. The shop manager, Paul, was passing and kindly let me in to have a look around. He was welcoming and professional explaining all of the ranges they had available. Guaranteed Quality service from start to finish - bought a pair of womans Dubarry Sligo boots on line due to coronavirus. After receiving the boots the next day I found the boots were slightly tight. I emailed the long standing Derby Company who responded straightaway. Fantastic service. We hired our suits for our wedding from Brigden and couldn't recommend them enough. We had a few issues with suits not quite fitting right and Paddy was quick to resovre all these issues. We had to people from outside of Derby having suits and they happily post them out for us. Very courteous and friendly staff, I think that they try to take the customer back to a 1950's professional taylor's shop and they do a good job as best is possible in 2019. Expensive shirts, I usually buy Van Heusen shirts, but Bridgens main brand is not well known and expsensive, I prefer Van Heusen for qualiy, style price, so choice is not as good as it could be.
