Complete store compared to neighbourhood, mostly for jackets, coats, scarfs, jumper, especially for winter. In major shopping street. People will spend more than 35 minutes at least here. 1 storey, not so big, but collections are so many good ones.

One Satisfied Customer Walks the Streets of Edinburgh Sporting the Scarf of their Past. Edinburgh, though beautiful, has its problems. The rain goes sideways, the buildings can be awfully austere and the accents can be incomprehensible. One afternoon it was all getting a bit much for me, and I took shelter from a shower inside Marchbrae. Oh how life can take one to such strange places! When I was young, my Granny used to wear a beatiful scarf that I have nw come to know is the "Autumn Buchanan" cashmere. It has been a long time since I have come across that delightful autumnal blending of nature's finest colours, but there, nestled among the fine patterns and high quality genuine cashmere, lay my link to my past. I knew the scarf in an instant, but I did not know how to express it. A truly helpful member of staff noticing my pale transfixed expression, helpfully offered a slice of expertise and explained to me the history of the pattern. Naturally there was no option but to buy! Now, I am not a fatalist, but after I left the shop wearing this fine garment, the clouds were ever so slightly more sunny, the buildings ever so slightly more welcoming, the accents ever so slightly more comprehensible. My Granny was ever so slightly closer. Thank you, Marchbrae, for my youth, for completing Edinburgh, for the expertise, the window into my Granny, and for a wonderful, luxurious garment that I will not forget.

Great shop with a broad range of selection of high quality of products! The shop location is very convenient, close to Edinburgh Castle, so it is extremely convenient for shopping while you go to the castle or after finishing the visit! Whenever I want to buy something for my friends and family, I always go to this store. They have many very good quality products and the Korean saleswoman is very nice and helpful. The only store I go to on the Royal Mile! I am always very well received and never disappointed with the service and my purchases :)

An above average shop of those in Royal Mile that offers a vast assortment of Cashmere and wool products, also of economic budget but mainly of medium-high range: Harris Tweeds but also a good selection of Barbour products. Sometimes at discounted prices.

The building recommended by the guide was too old, so I went into the building next door. Maybe it's fate, but she's Korean and her personality is so hot that it's so funnyㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ In Korea, I bought a barber jacket that I had been hesitating to buy for years because it was so expensive. The best place where u can buy something luxury and cool on the royal mile. I always take my families here for shopping when they visit Edinburgh.
