This is a brilliant boutique offering off-the-rail or made-to-measure clothes. I absolutely love their military-style jackets, with a twist. There's always something a little bit special: like the lining of the coat made from the last piece of a stripy fabric, or the cute horsey fabric lining the belt. I'd recommend Totty Rocks if you are looking for a piece that will be a talking point - I always get asked about the things I have bought from there.

It's their signature piece and you'll see why – it's a perfectly tailored coat that seems to suit everyone. Their dresses, blouses and tees are also beautifully made. If you're picking up a present, they also have a more affordable range of jewellery and little things, like quirky socks.

Totty Rocks is an independent boutique on Edinburgh's Victoria Street which stocks it own handmade range of designs as well as accessories by other designers (including Bebarogue, a collection of frilly knickers and saucy socks). A beautiful range of designs; the owner was very helpful and quickly turned around a few adjustments to one of their designs for me.

Top little boutique nestled in the middle of Victoria Street. Established by two former ECA fashion students, these girls hand make everything in the boutique to the highest standard and have a great attitude and always smiles on their faces. They now also have an equestrian range for the style conscious horse rider. No task is too big, they offer a free alterations service and a made to measure service. Don't be surprised if you rub shoulders with a celeb in the shop!
