L.(Translated) It is with great sadness that I read William Prideaux's review. Four weeks ago we had a very different experience with the elderly gentleman of this clothing store. At first it was difficult to communicate with the gentleman in question, at times somewhat uncomfortable. I don't know if he had a speech impediment or something else. But after we openly and enthusiastically asked him what the SALE was and what not, and indicated what we were looking for, he tried to help us from all sides.
In the end we only bought socks, because the right sizes were no longer in stock. But we also had a pleasant conversation with the gentleman of the shop about his past in Amsterdam. Very nice!
We would recommend everyone to visit, because of the specific clothing (TOP!), but also because of the openness and friendliness of the older gentleman (GREAT!).

Met veel verdriet lees ik de review van William Prideaux. Wij hadden vier weken geleden een heel andere ervaring met de oudere meneer van deze kledingwinkel. In eerste instantie was het moeilijk communiceren met de bewuste meneer, soms ietwat ongemakkelijk. Ik weet niet of hij een spraakgebrek had of iets anders. Maar nadat we open en enthousiast hem vroegen naar wat de SALE was, en wat niet, en aangaven wat we zochten, probeerde hij ons van alle kanten te helpen.
Uiteindelijk hebben we alleen sokken gekocht, omdat de juiste maten niet meer voorradig waren. Maar hebben we ook een prettige conversatie met de meneer van de winkel gehad over zijn verleden in Amsterdam. Heel fijn!
Wij zouden eenieder aanbevelen om langs te gaan, vanwege de specifieke kleding (TOP!), maar ook vanwege de openheid en vriendelijkheid van de oudere meneer (GEWELDIG!).
