What an amazing shop! They have a fabulous range of vintage clothes that would suit every style and anyone of any age could go in and find something they liked. Ive bought so many items from here including jeans, jumpers and tops of which I absolutely adore and have had many compliments on. The staff here are all so welcoming and create such a warming atmosphere. They also do some amazing sales and bag it events where you can fill (or cram!) a certain priced bag up with whatever items you like. Would deffo recommend!!!

Been to poorboy boutique vintage clothing often. It's such a lovely welcoming atmosphere and let's not forget the amazing vintage a bespoke clothes. I've bought t-shirts skirts and blouses all have been complemented on regularly oh and my belt.
I would recommend anyone to come and give this shop a try you will not regret it. Oh and if it doesnt fit the return is simple and quick. Simply I love this shop.

Popped in Friday 26 may 2017, not been around the old fruit market area for over 15 years, poor boy boutique is a lovely little shop with very good prices, staff are brilliant and friendly. I spotted a lovely Ralph Lauren shirt in perfect condition for only £22 what a bargain. Will be going again.

Attended the student 'Bag It' night and loved it! Firstly my NUS card hadn't arrived in time for the evening but spoke to staff via Facebook (which was super useful!) and they kindly assured me that I could use the confirmation email or anything to prove I'm a student. The staff at the evening were really helpful and friendly answering any questions and helping you get the items you wanted. I also love the fact that they weren't looking to con you out of getting as much in your bag as possible! The whole concept of the evening was awesome as well, perfect for students who love getting their money's worth! I bought the £25 bag and managed to fit 4 shirts, a t-shirt, a polo shirt and a fleece inside which included brands such as Ralph Lauren, Lacoste, Yves Saint Laurent and Hugo Boss. Safe to say my friends and I were ridiculously pleased with what we could get for our money.

Just a vintage treasure trove of loveliness, got some amazing pieces from there which I wear all the time and always get compliments on, the vintage is grade A and presented in a quirky environment with lovely staff, Pieces from the 1960s to 2000, Fab range of vintage accessories too. The only vintage shop to visit in Hull (in my opinion) you won’t be disappointed.

I had the pleasure of discovering a refreshing new concept of vintage clothing, within the high street shops. Poorboy Boutique sits between the retail giant, Primark, and a cluster of other independent retailers, as well as Topshop, River Island etc, within Princes Quay.
The staff were really welcoming and helpful , which made a nice change. There's a large and varied choice of vintage clothing for men and women and I struggled to decide what to buy. I ended up getting a great Ralph Lauren shirt with a pair of Levis 501 all for under £50!
A really great shop which I will definately be visiting again!.

Poorboy is one of my faves and I love when they do Bag It events. All the staff members I've come across in the stores (Princess Quay and the one that used to be in Newland Av) are all so nice and helpful, I've never met one who are rude or judgmental or anything (like some other stores have members like that) - great range of clothing for both genders and their prices aren't OTT, not only do I love the variety of vintage and retro clothing they have but I love their range of Poorboy remade!! I just think everything is just amazing!! Would defiantly recommend anyone who loves this kind of style to go into one of there stores or go onto ASOS and have a look and a buy - you won't regret!!✌🏼️🌞

Poorboy Boutique provide the freshest, most one of a kind reworked garms and hand picked vintage clothing.
Walking into poorboy for me is like a kid walking into a candy shop and I could spend hours in there digging through for gems.. Usually end up spending way too much but genuinely cannot fault the shop from service to price to the items they stock everything is brilliant.
Highly recommend to anyone looking for bespoke, stand out clothing.

A reliable & honest retro & vintage clothing boutique shop, the market in the retro & clothing boutique shop scene is strong nationwide here in the uk & also in europe too, the scene is bringing back fashion styles which were very strong in there own heyday example 60's & 70's including the 1980's etc, it's genuine to assume we can bring back an era from yesterday for today's generation & market to enjoy & benefit from, & there is nothing wrong with that either, bringing fashionable trends from a bygone era back to our streets & towns & city's etc, is cool & trendy today as if in there own heyday, & you get a unique shopping experience at Poorboy, let's say you'll get a glimpse flashback to a time wharp shopping experience from yesteryear's clothing garments, & that is a fair reflection of our past's clothing heritage, fashion & styles, don't be offended with a decade of fashion at Poorboy, just take it as a gift, where else will you see the garments on sale for yourself to browse at, try on etc, you won't only at specialist vintage & retro vintage fairs & specialist other related event's such as diversity & music festivals etc, I can say all the positives which Poorboy receive, outweighs the rare negatives which they occasionally receive, you will always get the one person whom wants to take down the reliable reputation of a business in flame's, but the business is stronger than them, & so are all there customers too' they can just do one for me, & take there custom elsewhere, Poorboy don't need them they have a sound business sourcing retro & vintage clothing from wholesale sauces in Hull & Barnsley etc, I can genuinely say the garments are not trashed, what do you expect from a garment which can be 20 to 30 years old etc, saucing the best garments from wholesale fellow retro & clothing boutique supplier's is key to a shopping experience from a bygone era, trust me Poorboy shall employ a staff member with valuable knowledge in clothing topic's from the 60's to the 90's etc, & they will just not pick any old sick or tired looking garments, that would only cause issues or offences, trust me Poorboy won't be pushovers they will have strong mutual bonds with there wholesale provider's, the shopping scene at Poorboy is for everyone & not just at a age gender, it's for everyone of all age's covering diversity etc, no one is isolated, Poorboy think about everyone, so here's from me pop down to the shop next time you are in town, you won't be disappointed & enjoy a shopping experience from a bygone era, if you are silly offended & don't like what you see' you can go & waist your money elsewhere then, Poorboy won't mind, from Jason Bowers Doncaster.
