Arrived today with 3 men that needed to be suited and booted for a very upmarket black tie wedding. The men are rather clueless and hate wearing suits,shirts etc. I explained this to a sales assistant Marie, she was amazing, she measured , hustled , advised, guided and got them all sorted, suits ,shirts ties ,shoes . Gorgeous selection throughout the shop, but she instinctively knew what to offer to each of them. One pair of trousers needed a waist adjustment as they were tight, she sorted this immediately, a temporary job ,refit and then a final permanent adjustment ,great efficiency and service. Two suits need legs shortening,I collect these next week. She guided and advised on shirts and ties. The quality of the suits we purchased are lovely ,the range extensive. The choices are very pleasing and these 3 reluctant men will look amazing on the day. Marie I thank you from the bottom of my heart ,you made a daunting difficult experience very easy, we even had a few giggles, you are an absolute treasure. Thank you Julie

I felt out of place walking in here with tracksuit bottoms on, I am not the typical clientele! Despite this, staff were very friendly and helpful. I was given help when trying on a coat and the gentleman even offered to have the sleeves shortened so that they'd suit my apparently disproportionately short arms.

Went for wedding suits, first time we arrived not sure what we was looking for thought the staff would help!! First lady we saw wasn't very helpful she was quite abrupt and didn't seem to want to help, went for fittings all the gentleman were very helpful even the staff on the tills when we picked up the suits we saw the miserable looking woman talking to other staff about us which is unprofessional for this reason we will not be going back in the future as this felt uncomfortable...

I went in 5 weeks ago for 5 wedding suits looking for help we asked a women and she was not very helpful quite rude and abrubt like she was better than you but she definitely isn't however she looked like she didn't want to be there or help anyone however the men who measured for alterations were very helpful indeed

Went to slaters to look at suits for my sons wedding later this year. We used slaters last year for my eldest sons wedding. Unfortunately there was not alot of choice and we where told that itv was ghe worst time due to lack of stock, and 3 years backlogged weddings! So we are rather disappointed as didn't seem to promising from what the assistant was telling us whats happening with pre orders etc...might have to find an alternative and hope it's better news!

Very polite and pleasant staff. Had my son in to fit for a wedding suit they were very nice. However on collection found a few issues with the suits we were picking up which led to a delay in having to wait 3 days for the correct sizes to arrive. It wasn't a measuring fault or that my son had grown. The trousers they sent were 6 inches too long so we knew it wasn't that. They had just put the wrong ones into the suit.

Whatever your budget - you will get fixed up here. Whether you want quality garments or an inexpensive outfit you will leave satisfied and happy with your purchase. We have always experienced dedicated, knowledgeable staff that know their products. They usually have a tape measure hung around their neck. They listern to your requirements and never try to up sell. Good store, good selection of products and fantastic staff. The only negative point I could make (thou its never been a problem for me), is that the Hull store resides on a first floor, you walk in through the street door and are immediately confronted with a set of stairs to access the store - there may be a lift but I cannot recall one.
