I have to say I share the same view as some on here as the person in the shop whom I assume to be the owner is a bit aloof and possibly rude. The clothes are pretty cool although seem rather expensive.

This is a glorious, wonderful treasure trove of a shop. True vintage with loads of unbelievably gorgeous pieces and all in such incredible condition. We'd been trying [and failing] for ages to find a really special 70s party outfit and were about to give up when we walked into A Dandy in Aspic and WOW! The gentleman there instantly got what we were after. He is amazingly knowledgable, informative and obviously cares deeply about vintage clothes. He was super kind and extremely patient with us and let us try on many different combinations to get the look just right. He also made brilliant suggestions right down to the belt and the shoes. As for the outfit we ended up with? OH MY! It was absolutely PERFECT! Thank you for all your help! You absolutely made our day and your stories were great!

The owner is very kind and definitely knowledgeable. My English is poor but he is so fun to talk with. there are many authentic vintage pieces like 1920’s - 70’s and so on. I bought a 40’s CC41 jacket by Burton. this shop is highly recommended))

My regular place to buy unique vintage pieces. I’m surprised at the bad reviews as my experience is quite the opposite! Friendly and helpful! Just spend too much money when I go in there ...
