I can thoroughly recommend Design Also. Madeline provides a friendly traditional bra fitting service. She is such a lovely person & has so much knowledge of her stock & how to get the perfect fit. I have been going there for years and have recommended her to friends and family. All her bras and lingerie are gorgeous and very reasonably priced for the quality and style. I used to have a lot of aching and stiffness at the back of my neck but since wearing bras which fit well this has completely gone and my posture is much improved. Everything I wear looks so much better on me too. I also like that Madeline collects old bras for a charity which sends them out to new mothers in Africa. All in all a wonderful and very personal bra fitting experience.

Design Also is a gem of a find….Expertly fitted bras, a lovely selection and great value for money! Madeline is one in a million, a master in fitting bras and swimwear ..properly as it should be to correct posture, provide the correct support and maximum comfort. I’m so glad I took the plunge to make an appointment here. Madeline was wonderful, explaining how she fits, and why. Nothing was too much trouble and bra after bra was tried on. Once Madeline knew what sizes/colours/styles worked for me she ordered in more for my second visit and I’m the proud owner of some delightful underwear. The prices are so reasonable too, especially when you get one to one service. It’s a delight to go there. Highly recommended.

I'd been putting off getting a 're-fit' after adding a few lockdown pounds and also hitting a certain age. I finally bit the bullet and went back to Design Also, who always looked after me in the past. I'd given up on department stores as nothing ever fits. I was sad to hear that Yvonne had passed on, but delighted by the new owner Madeline. She whipped out her measuring tape - measuring me took all of 30 seconds - and promptly brought out half a dozen bras that fitted perfectly. I found her to be kind, engaged, interested and respectful. Helpful in the extreme. She also sends our unwanted old bras to a women's charity in Sierra Leone, a wonderful thing to have arranged. Thank you to Madeline and I'll be spreading the word, she is fulfilling an excellent customer service to the women of London.

There is no better place for a bra fitting. Madeline gives time to ensure that you find a bra that fits extremely well, looks good and that you are happy with. Do not come here if you are not flexible with your size-every make and style will fit differently. My recent purchase had 4 different sizes, but they all fit perfectly. I always come out of the store feeling better about myself and looking forward to wearing what I have bought.

Since I bought my first bra from Madeline I realised how wrong I was doing it before, even though I went to other bra shops where the assistant was ''guessing'' my size. She really knows how to give a professional fitting, and this helped improving my posture and flattering my figure. The bras are also lovely and reasonably priced. Madeline is very professional, knowleadgeable, honest and kind. She takes the time to really know what you need, and does not sell just anything. She is thorough and gives great advice regarding underwear. I have been going to Design Also for a bit more than 2 years, and do not see myself buying a bra anywhere else. This is a shop that had been recommended to me 16 years ago and I have not looked back since. It offers bespoke specialist bra fitting, originally by Yvonne, and now by Madeleine who had assisted Yvonne for many years and is very qualified, professional, sensitive and skilled in fitting bras. It is also a friendly, warm shop with much to offer. I think Madeleine knows most of her customers by name and women return again and again once they have found this excellent service. I cannot recommend Design Also highly enough. Such a precious resource for women who may not be wearing the right bra for support and comfort and health. They have a range of styles and will order something specially for you to try without any commitment.

Well... I happened to be a Big, Black woman and the Lord truly have blessed me in abundance. I have been blessed with a very large cup size and over the years I struggled to find bras that was sexy, comfortable and that would give me the support that I needed. A wonderful shopping experience in a independent shop located near highburry Islington station.The price of lingerie is around M&S price.But I really enjoyed a lot as a private personal shopping experience.No matter how many bras I tried on.The shop owner Madeline always enthusiastically provides professional advice.The end I bought 2 of them.Madeline has always been very patient to provide items maintenance knowledge for me. I usually do love shopping in a small independent shop or boutique.This kind price with a high quality personal service is difficult find in London.

Popped into Design Also as I wanted to completely re-vamp my lingerie. The lady who owns the boutique was extremely knowledgeable, measured me up in no time and sourced all sorts of gorgeous bras for me to try on. I had been wearing the incorrect size for years and finally, having tried on the correct size - I was so happy! Improved my posture and look! Also purchased some great bargain knickers from the sale section. Can't recommend this place enough and will be returning soon to add more to my collection. Reasonably priced too and the quality is excellent. She also took the time to give me guidance on washing and drying the underwear so that it will last and keep it's shape. Really pleased!

Wonderful shop! I have been going to Design Also for years. They take a lot of time and trouble to make sure every bra and swimsuit fits. I always end up with half a dozen different sizes all fitting beautifully. It makes you look and feel years younger. I highly recommend Design Also! They have amazing hats too.

Madeleine was so attentive and helpful, she also gave me lots of advice and handy tips. Madeleine was all about creating a personalised shopping experience. Amazing service and the prettiest bras and bikini tops ever. I often exercise and love swimming, finding a place where bikini tops really support you during swiming revolutionised my active lifestyle. Madeleine's products and keen eye for the piece which offer best posture are unique. I must admit it took sometime to get used to a tighter fitting but just a month in even my ostheopath noticed an improvement on the spine, which suffers from many years of being hunched over computers at work and a few whiplash car inciddents.
