Called up to check availability for a jacket. Staff kindly put a M and a L to one side for me. Staff helped me pick correct fit for me. Paid with a discount, left with a stunning jacket in less than 10 mins. Could not have been a better experience 10/10

Hackett do a good job of finding the sweet spot between classical and contemporary style. I've bought a few items here over the years including a much loved cotton herringbone summer jacket. Service is a bit of a mixed bag though. On my most recent visit I bought probably one of the most expensive items in the shop, a non-sale item during the sale season, on a weekday morning when they had no other customers. You'd think I'd have been lavished with attention, but I rather felt they were just going through the motions in the fitting, and seemed pretty disinterested in the whole thing. When splashing that kind of cash it's nice to be given the illusion of being an important customer, a bit of flattery and chit chat, perhaps some feigned interest in the occasion that the suit is for would be nice. Also why does it take a week to get a pair of trousers finished? It's a ten minute job for their tailor. Plus it seems a bit cheeky they add a tenner onto the bill for this, on top of a £750 suit, the fact that the trousers are unfinished is a convenience for the retailer to reduce the amount of stock they have to keep - why is the customer bearing the cost of that?

It's true that the clothes here are quite pricey but I would argue that the quality is probably worth it. The service is also fantastic. The staff that I dealt with really know their stuff and always seem to find the right combinations. Highly recommended.

I was buying a tux a few months ago, went to 3 different hackett stores and only this one had what I wanted, they were also the most helpful. The first place on Regent Street were the least helpful followed by the one in Covent garden. This store got me everything I needed in one week.
