A. P.A local gem located 200 meters from Hackney Central overground, Kofy & Co serves vegan and vegetarian savoury and sweet items including cake, sausage rolls, crossiants and coffee and tea. It describes itself as an artisan panetteria, which in plain English means a bakery that does not mass produce baked goods.
The interior is a mix of Middle Eastern and Italian coffee shop, sitting about 25 people. The service is extraordinary. Attentive, friendly, cheerful and warm. The prices are good value with a green matcha with coconut milk costing £3.80 and a slice of burnt basque cheesecake £3.50.
