Reviews of MUJI Carnaby Street

It’s like IKEA, but Japanese. And smaller.

Just went to this branch and bought some stuff. Good that the asian staff member tried to offer good help; very disappointed and surprising that the English level of a European staff member is not capable of working in retail. Everything is enjoyable despite this

Interesting Japanese homeware store, for those who don't know they stock office stuff, stationery, clothes, travel items, home furnishings, some electrical goods, food, and snacks. The design ethos is anonymous design, everything is muted, basic, but all well made generally. However it's expensive, especially compared to the original Japanese prices. It's worth checking out when they have sales, prices are more reasonable then. Worth a visit. Website is awful by the way.

I've wanted to buy some stationary from Muji for a long time now, so I was surprised to find it on my wanderings. It's situated in the lovely Carnaby Street, nestled amongst many other shops selling various things.
I love the minimalist style of Muji and all its products. It had another floor but I was only interested in the stationary. There are a lot of pretty expensive supplies but after buying and testing two of their gel pens, they seem to be a really smooth, high quality.
I'll definitely be going back for more stationary. Next time I might look at some of their storage and furniture supplies. I mightn't buy very much though as their products do err on the side of pricey.
Still, I'm satisfied with my notebook and pens. Would recommend.

Love this store! Staff are super friendly! Really reasonable priced things and great Japanese/oriental vibe. It's smaller than the other Muji stores on Oxford Street and Tottenham court road.

Simplistic, beautiful and lovely quality - you can fill your home, office and wardrobe with Muji products. I would especially recommend their folders, home office organisation drawers for bits and bobs and A4 trays - somehow making sorting out your paperwork a lot cooler. Also worth a mention are the aromatherapy oil ranges that smell amazing and their steam diffusers which also light up and spread the aromas really quickly.

Everything you need from Muji in a perfect location

Muji is such a lovely little spot. Seeing as this branch is on tourist-heavy Carnaby street, they're well stocked with all kinds of crazy travel accessories, like a teeny tiny travel hairdryer and airport security-friendly refillable bottles. I love the stationery at the back of the store - the pens are timeless and lovely to use.

I can always find strange unique items in this Japanese store. The items they sell are good quality too. The products range from home furniture to stationary to even clothing. I would recommend you visit. You'll always find something new.
