Wow what an exceptional experience! I went in for a pair of Wolverine 1000 mile boots and came away with a few new shirts and a wallet. I was greeted at the door with a smile and found the staff to be friendly and knowledgable. They made a point to understand the style I was going for and offered me several items to compliment said style. I have shopped at other "heritage" shops but have found THIS shop to not only have the largest selection, but also the friendliest, down to earth staff. They've made a loyal customer out of me.

Incredible dedication to their customers. I bought a jacket where I damaged the stencils myself. Even though it was not a faulty item, the owner Rudy put incredible efforts in trying to get it fixed, calling suppliers in Japan etc… I will definitely shop there again!

Awesome store and great customer service! They sell an amazing assortment of products at very good prices. I enjoy shopping here and can’t recommend it enough! I love this store - they have great stock and helpful, responsive staff. thanks to Covid it's been a long time since I've been in the shop, but they provide excellent service both in-store and online. the only thing I don't like is their use of UPS for delivery; UPS' poor service reflects badly on the great work you guys do (but that's not your fault!). Keep up the good work guys!

I found a Japanese brand that could not be found elsewhere in Europe. They have amazing clothing choices 👌 Also, they manage to refund me money after Brexit due to Customs charges. I hope they manage to get the package back. Very polite customer service. Trustworthy ❤

This is a review of Song of a Stag's tailoring service by a first-time customer. I would 100% recommend Son of a Stag for tailoring of selvedge jeans. I have two selvedge 3x1 jeans both of which needed tailoring (they were too long). While I could have gone to an ordinary tailor, I wanted to go to someone who specialized in denim. Moreover, although I could have opted for their post-in service, I decided to go for the old-fashioned route and visited the shop to get their professional opinion as to how much I should reduce the length of the jeans by. Their customer service is first-rate and they clearly know their denim. They reduced the length of jeans perfectly! Even better, I initially wanted the length of the jeans to be shorter, but they advised (correctly) that it would look better if I left a "little" at the end. Needless to say, I am a very happy customer. I would use them again without hesitation.

Hands down the best menswear store in the world. It's actually not only the clothing, biggest collections of denim jeans, boots, coats, etc BUT the unique and refreshing old school service. It's not cheap but definitely worth every single cent and more. You get great value, great services, great products and always fun. This is simply the best place to buy denim in London. The store stocks a wide range of pieces, largely from Japan and the US from what I understand. I spent around an hour chatting and trying on various pairs of jeans, before eventually deciding which ones to go for. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and they offer free alterations for any denim purchased in-store. Special shout out to Ross (hat and glasses) who was a great help and is clearly very passionate about a lot of the products available!

I’ve tried many places that claim to do jeans alterations. Balderdash! However, Son of a Stag actually really do know their jeans inside out. I was recently served by Linda, who was not only delightful, humorous and very charming, but also really knew what I needed before even I did. I'm not really sure Son of a Stag really need my rating or review but credit where it's due. I bought a pair of Oni denims here 10 months ago thinking it was a one off purchase of a lifetime but found myself back yesterday for another pair - in fact I travelled specially to London for this purchase If you have time and money to spend, you will leave with a pair of jeans that may as well have been tailored for you. The staff will invest as much time as necessary to make sure that you leave with the right jeans . This can be a lengthy, educational and pleasant experience. What Rudy doesn't know about denim and jeans isn't worth knowing. Thank you for another lovely shopping experience!

The staff was incredibly friendly and most knowledgeable. I've been to many places and it's safe to say, Son of a Stag has the best denim selection I've ever seen. Bought a pair of Tellasons a few years back and they're still going strong! Picked up another today and was excited to see they are still well stocked with Jeans that are made of white oak cone denim. These are getting hard to find. I'll be back for sure!

One of the best Japanese denim stores in the world, carrying hard-to-find stuff sold by some of the friendliest, most knowledgeable staff. To be clear, there’s more than denim (boots, shirts, socks, etc) as the store is larger than most similar stores.

While pricey, this is the best place in London for all things high end denim and workwear. If you've never heard of SELVEDGE DENIM then get your butt in here and get educated. These aren't your regular Tommy Hilfiger denim pants - this is the high class of pants. A pair of jeans that won't fall apart after one season.

My new favorite shop in 'the Big Smoke'. Was in the area a few weeks back, had my eye on some ONI jeans, tried them on, bought them & had them hemmed within the space of 40 mins. The staff were very friendly, got talking to the lady (sorry I forgot your name) who hemmed my jeans, originally from Edinburgh, just about all sorts. I know next time I'm in London, I will be visiting the shop. Just purchase a item online last Friday, it's ready to collect already. Great online service, great in store experience. 5 stars from me.
