D. G.Much more centric than Camden. It requires a lasting visit. Unfortunately it was lunch time for us (early dinner for Britons), but we will be back hopefully. Curious atmosphere and great variety of shops. This kind of places make the “urban trekking” worthy, as most High Streets have exactly the same shops (and not only in England). Don’t miss it.
A. B.Great to visit. Lots of interesting people and vintage items to see. Sadly the prices the sellers are asking for some items are not vintage at all! I understand they are there to make a living - but £12 for a plastic ring that looks like it came from a Kinder Surprise is stretching the boundaries of reality! Loved taking a trip down memory lane here. I did come with the intention of spending loads of money, because my daughter loves vintage clothing, but she even though the pricing was unrealistic. Well worth visiting if just for the experience.
T. D.So much choice, and so many independent sellers and experts who all share this beautiful and diverse space. Everything is so expensive though, if you are into vintage items and second hand clothes but are tight for dosh you should avoid places like this and go to charity shops instead. But still a nice place to walk around and appreciate. Really central to Bricklane and Shoreditch as well.
Q. A. S.This is my favourite vintage market in East London. There are stalls with a collection that shift from Burberry’s coats, to leather jackets, and even some vinyl or handmade clothing pieces! Every store owners has a different style, which makes the overall collection in the market very diverse. There is plenty of choice, for many styles. However, do not go here if you want to go bulk vintage shopping. Rather go here for the more one of a kind items, to find that one exclusive thrift find.
On Saturdays there is also a food market with all sorts of cuisines on the floor above, which makes for a perfect Saturday stroll all together. Definitely a great vintage market, that is worthy of a visit.
G. C.Located on half LG, with a small entrance with downward stairs on Brick Lane. Undoubtly great vibe, filled with independent vintage sellers. Lots of designer clothes you may find. Some are great sellers, knowing well about their clothes and really friendly. Overall it's a bit pricy, but still a great place to look for unique pieces.

The story begins in 2018, or perhaps it starts earlier, in 2014, at a fateful meeting in the midst of a political protest. Or maybe the story starts even further back, in 1983.
This is in part a story about a woman-survivor, an abusive husband, and a struggle to find freedom. It is in part also a tale about immigration and finding a homeland, and running through the narrative are themes of courage, friendship, mental illness, misogyny, hate, desperation, nature, history and dreams. The book has both moments of drama and of comedy.
But at its core the book relates the course of a supernatural love... a love pursued against all the odds of a very realistic world.
Dilek Ozlem Ataonder’s first English-language novel will have you guessing to the very last pages how her strange story will end. And also, it will have you looking forward in anticipation to what happens in the sequel, due out early 2022.

T. S.Just a ten minute walk from Liverpool Street Station, we must have spent hours inside walking round the hundreds of stalls. Even if you are not that into vintage clothing it is still well worth the visit for the sheer variety of things you will see. Since there are so many stalls there is good competition so prices aren't that high for a lot of items. Will be visiting again
