This is by far my favourite shop in London - not only because of the amazing selection of all my favourite brands, but also because I always feel welcome and more importantly I get an honest opinion and great advice when it comes to the outfits - I tend to always have a different image of how an outfit will suit me than what the mirror tells me, and the always friendly and lovely girls are great at giving me the best advice - and also letting me know whether I perhaps should try something else :-) I also have to point out that it is the shop I have felt most comfortable in during Covid - a clean and safe environment allows us all to keep trying on clothes in the shop. It is always a real pleasure and I always spend far too much time and money when going!

I didn't go in Wild Swams. I walked past on my way to buy 10 litres of oil for the old ferriby furnace. To be honest I wish I had taken my wheelbarrow as it was quite a struggle to get it back. The lid worked loose and I got rather greasy which meant I had less traction under my moccasins than I would have liked while walking with a rather large cube of oil.
Anyway I digress. While I was passing I photographed the shop and sent it to my eldest daughter via Whats-app. I have included a screen shot of this conversation for all to see. I am quite pleased to have her potential style in 20 years time nailed. As you can also see I photographed a book in a local book vendors and sent her that, but that another story.

Love the different brands and collections in here, and the customer service is beyond exceptional! The team at WS's have gone above and beyond for me on multiple occasions - which is why I am, and will continue to be, a very loyal customer!

I love the originality of this store - and they are excellent at helping me pick out presents for my family.

Fabulous clothes but on June 19th 2021 this year , myself and my daughter had a truly horrible experience. We are customers, having purchased several items in the past. We entered the shop, following usual Covid protocol and after engaging with a dark haired sales assistant, we picked out items and retired to the dressing rooms. We tried the clothes in a normal period of time, having already left a webbing belt on counter that we were definitely buying Having a retail background myself, it is entirely normal that people debate a little and maybe request to try another size. Humiliatingly, after maybe 25 minutes of trying, it being quite obvious that we intended to buy, the same dark haired assistant informed us that the shop was now busy, that there were only two dressing rooms and that there were other customers. We had been handing out garments that were not suitable fir us, and anybody with any clue would have heard us saying and commenting that we were going to take the items we retained in dressing room. It was so embarrassing and we were treated like ‘time-wasters’. My daughter pointed out that we were legitimate customers but the same girl waxed on and on about ‘ only two dressing rooms’ - prompting a debate which we ignored but took on board.Customers in shop no doubt found it highly entertaining. I should point out for the first 15 mins or more, we were the only customers. We left, angry, humiliated and AGHAST. As we really liked the clothes, my daughter purchased two of the items online. My sister later returned with me whilst she viewed the two dresses I liked and assented to my choice. We spent over £400 that day - but ONLY because we liked the garments. There were two other girls in the shop that day who were perfectly fine. When I returned with my sister, the dark haired assistant did not come near us. I debated whether or not to post before now, but really and truly that is not a pleasant or satisfactory customer service - which I did say as I left the shop. It was DREADFUL.

If you want a cool, stylish clothing store with a distinctly Scandi vibe, then here's the place. Just bought the coolest pair of boots as an Xmas present (can't say for who, incase she comes across this review!) - staff super helpful and great to support another local independent. I'm doing all my Christmas shopping on Upper Street and the Angel - no need to go elsewhere. Andy
