Some staff are really nice other staff have no people skills. The shop itself has lots of named brands and some very good quality products. Always smells nice because of the perfume counters. Bit pricey but you expect that before you even walk through the door.

The store has a reasonable amount of I threshing stock but the store itself was VERY hot! They really need to do something about the toilets too, a store with such a prestigious reputation should at least have decent (clean) toilets!

I think that this store could use better signage. Please view it through the eyes of visiting customers. It was difficult for us to find what we came in for. After walking around aimlessly despite asking for help, we finally found (by pure chance), the items we came into the shop for. Nothing special here I don't think, unless you come with the intention of a specific purchase.

Still a great shop considering the inclusion of SportsDirect clothing. BOSS, Armani, Paul Smith, Ted Baker and other tops brands are still available with plenty of lines/sizes.

Exactly what I'd expect from a big superstore. A little let down by the posters up saying check out our new Lego range so went up to see the Lego as my boy loves the stuff to find about 2 shelves of it. If your going to advertise something as a big thing have some of it there, wasn't even empty spaces where it was sold just hardly any. Other than that clean tidy and no complaints

I love walking around this place tagging all the stuff I would buy if I had the money. So far I've chosen a new dinner service, new kitchen gadgets, clothes and a new very smart TV with all the bells and whistles! 😎 However this is all a little out of my price range at the moment and I will have to put up with what I have. The assistants have never made me feel that I should leave and have in the past been very helpful when I needed to choose a wedding present.

Good shop for clothing, make up, shoes, bags etc for men and women. Also household goods.

Toilets need renovated. One completely out of use. No toilet paper in the others. Paper on the floor. Can't have been checked regularly by staff. Cafe had a problem. Only paper cups which would be ok however most tables were covered in used wrappers and cups. It wasn't even busy. Have they forgotten the pandemic !! Very disappointed as I have been a customer for years.

Honestly. This place is big. Which is good, means lots of different departments and variety and a good choice and selection of things. I feel the makeup section at the doors is possibly dated and a bit too close to the doors, always feel like I'm going to be bombarded when I enter. There are hardly any pay points any more. The cafe is always too busy. For the size of the building it needs to be bigger or there needs to be two.

After struggling with grief and severe anxiety since pre lockdown, myself and my husband come to this outlet through gritted teeth. We was treated with the highest of respect, after the loss of our daughter we went to the “menswear” department to purchase my husbands suit (we have never purchased from House of Fraser before) - having explained our circumstances to the department manager Jack, he was attentive and nothing was to much hard work for him and his staff, we purchased the BOSS suit which was retailed price at £279 on the sale, I was blown away by his politeness and general ability of caring for his customers and definitely for his staff. While we was on this department everyone looked so happy to be working under Jack and we can see why! He is a credit to his family and to the outlet. Thank you for the best wishes Jack!

The last of a great past, when one could walk round the old well established stores with absolute pristine counters, clean floors, pleasent staff. After the long distructive epoch of, Masks, hand sanitizers, labels pointing ways as if we were taking part in live snakes and ladders games,haunted faces full of fear by New s papers selling copy until the next tabloid breakthrough odf disasters. It was lovely to enjoy this store again.

Good to see department stores still open however not as good since sports direct took over and selling there chavy sports toot like umbro, firetrap jeans with the tacky "mega sale" tags on etc. One part of the store resembles a jumbe sale.

I moved to the UK a few months ago, I was (and am) used to US brands because of sizes. The British market is a different one so it's understandable that sometimes you won't find what you're looking for (what you expected to find in the States). However, I found many of the American apparel brands in this place. Don't expect prices are cheap, but this has nothing to do with the place. It's obvious these are imported brands here. Very good selection of brands, huge fitting rooms. Service is friendly. If you don't see your size on the shelves, ask them and they'll get it for you right away. No more waiting.

Outstanding shop, beautifully designed and laid out with a huge amount of choice in some of the highest quality merchandise you could hope to find anywhere in the world. I don't understand why some reviewers would find the experience intimidating in any way. Having temporarily mislaid my credit card at the bathroom section checkout, I was grateful for and relieved by the prompt, sympathetic and thoroughly professional treatment received by two absolutely charming members of staff. I would not hesitate to make this place my first port of call when I next need to enhance my new home.

The store is looking a little less stocked at present and more bargain sale items so I very much hope this is not a prelude to the store being closed. Perhaps it's simply a market place repositioning to help improve long term viability or perhaps nothing more than the normal winter sales.

Very helpful "store collection" desk. I placed a online order to be delivered to store. Item had not delivered after 5 days. Because there's no customer service to call, I turned to collection desk in Maidstone store for help. They tried their best and offered advice, also very apologetic (not their fault). Still no sight of my order however I'm grateful about the help from them. All the best to Maidstone store. Good luck to Sports Direct , as you will need it

Went in for a suit for a wedding. Roy the tailor was very helpful and knew my sizes by looking at me. Felt free to browse and pick a suit to my taste and came out with a perfectly fitted suit within 10 minutes. Amzxing service for a Bank Holiday Monday :) I say that because several other shops on the day couldn't give me time.

Staff are amazing lots of clothes make up and other bits to look at clothing staff couldn't do enough for me if I needed a different size and the girl on make up matched a red lipstick and liner perfectly to a new skirt I just purchased lovely shopping experience.
