M. B.I have been to many Primark's, mostly because my daughter is weirdly into them. I have distilled her obsession down to the fast fashion pocket money prices. No great shakes there, BUT, we went to Newcastle and after several years living in a monochrome world of outfits Primark Newcastle suddenly motivated her to buy COLOUR. This was in no way a hyperbolic big deal in our small pointless existences. Well done to this shop.
N. K.Reasonable priced popular shop. Something for everyone here. From mens to womens, baby homecare and even but, something for the old and for the young. You will find primark top end of Northumberland Street, nearer Hay market metro station which is 2 mins away. About 5 mins away you have monument Station. Not far is 2 bus stations. The shop today was clean enough and the staff pleasant and friendly. It has escalators and lifts to all floors Right at the top is cafe and toilet unfortunately you can only use them if you use the cafe, bad news if you're desperate for the toilet😔lol. It has wheel chair access and the lift is big enough for wheelchair so you can get to all floors. Plenty of shops and restaurants and even fast food outlets are close by, so you won't starve whilst shopping. Eldon square is 1 minute away. My main visit today was to return pair of shoes, only because they were bit small for me. The cashier gave me a refund for them no bother, good job I kept the receipt and it was within the 28 day return policy. The cashier was more than happy to help.Although the queue was pretty long as they only have tills open on one floor. They have few tills open so goes down pretty quickly. Yes I will return as I visit this shop regularly with my family and friends😊X
L. M.I buy most of my nighties and jackets from Primark and I never get dissapointed plus you can always go back to exchange or get a refund. I do love to buy a lot of stuff from here including my undies and onesie. So I will recommend you visit Primark store close to you and get yourself some affordable pair of jeans or joggers or generally whatever you fancy.
G. J.A lot of nice clothes. Though i do miss them selling "Rock Music and alternative" style for woman. Bought some really nice things recently, though their sizing is never the same, so i advise to try on. Staff always friendly and helpful. Store kept clean and tidy.
The home wear section is beautiful.

Abundance of temporary clothes, lots of sizes.
Long queues to pay but it went quick.
The changing rooms were also busy but I didn't need to wait long. Good attendance.

K. L.Love this cheap and cheerful retailer that sells fashionable clothes, shoes and household items. It is the kind of place to shop for something you are not expecting to last and as fashionable clothes do change regularly it is the place to go.
c. w.4 floors of cheap sweatshop clothing with a convenient location in Newcastle. Basically the same as any other Primark you've ever been to. Witnessed 2 girls get nicked by the security guard for shoplifting the other day which was a bonus.

Sometimes the stuff is a little hit and miss once it's been washed.

Noted that there were many items which were made from recycled materials and others sourced from environmentally friendly materials. Staff very friendly.

R.Primark Newcastle is mint. A great big super smart shop with Lovely staff. I've only ever been treated with dignity and respect. The staff have even kept something for me because they knew I would be in looking for that particular size. That's good quality personal service.

A. J.From my recent visit to the store I got the impression that primark had let its standard of quality start to fall off . It was never top end quality stuff but it was good and at a very reasonable price , it may have been that it was Christmas and it was busy and things weren't as organised or tidy as normal which gives a bad impression straight away , only time will tell when the spring lines appear on the shelves , hopefully they will up their game again and be the store they once were .

D. H.Kids wear section has massively reduced I actually struggled to find stuff to buy. They've changed the full layout I couldn't find the slippers for my girls done 3 circles around the top floor then hlgave up. Homewear section is fabulous though.
J. B.I asked 2 members of staff at the Northumberland Street store for help with things i was looking for and they were no help at all. One of them told me they didn't sell what I wanted for me to then walk past them on my way out. If you want something its easier just to look for it yourself. Train your staff Primark! Shop is too hot!

M. G.I can't avoid going in here every time I pass. The clothes are cheap but good quality and interesting designs. Most of the times I have been it has been very busy. The staff are friendly and helpful and the stores atmosphere is always positive.

S. H.Love primark got some beautiful clothes for my gran daughter at very reasonable prices and two pair of shoes for myself. I did need to go to the loo while in store and I was rudely told that the were no toilets for customers by a member of staff and she carried on talking to her friends in the isle, being so desperate I asked another member of staff and she said yes I will take you, she was so helpful and polite. Unfortunately I did not get her name.

S. L.I have a love/ hate relationship with Primark. I go in but rarely come out with anything. It's so unsustainable, but I appreciate that not everyone can afford more expensive stuff. L. W.Primark (Northumberland Street,NE1) is great. The staff are helpful. If you shop at Primark regularly, you know what to expect. Its nickname,"Primani", is perfect. High end chic vibes at rock-bottom prices.
The only niggle (& it may be Covid-related) is having POS on every floor but not all of them open at the busiest times.
C. F.Went to primark for a couple of summer skirts. As I'm only 4ft 11ins I would have to cut at least 12inches off everything. I'm aldo 68yrs old. Seems everything is made for 6ft under 40s. I also carry a tape measure with me. Good job. I ended up with 2 granny skirts, one size 12 which is what I am, one size 16 and a frock size 20. All of which fit but had to taken up. Come on Primark, sort yourself out. PLEASE.

F. T.Primark is what it is, but Newcastles store is currently not a pleasant place to shop.
Lack of staff due to current conditions is probably the reason why for instance clothes folded on shelves in places look like they have been rumnaged through when people have been looking for their size.
Also even though the store is over 3 floors, currently and it has been for some time, the only checkout counter open is on the ground floor.
As I said Primark is what it is, everyone knows Primark, but certainly not the place I would visit just to browse currently - there would have to be an item of clothing or homeware I was specifically looking for.
B. C.This place is huge is size and available options for shopping. Variety of products and availability of required sizes for all kind of buyers are available. Also the price is very much within the range of common people.

M. C. S.Good old Primark. Fantastic when you need specific clothing items for events or occasions at a low price. Huge stock and a big store with some friendly staff happy to help. Clothing items do have a short life span but for the price it's replaceable. Also great place for home furnishings. Queues a bit daunting at busy times but these by quick. There's a good amount of staff in this store

S. A.Decent clothes, not like the top brands, but still pretty good for what you pay for. Good variety and selection of clothes, friendly staff and the only place I know of who doesn't charge for bags as it made out of paper. Would recommend at least a visit.
S. J.Usually has plenty of stock, but didn't have what I went in for, and one item was only available in large. Long queues and always super busy. Toilets would be great here, can't remember if there was any, but I know a few other big Primarks having some. The fitting rooms also aren't very well signposted.

S. J.The staff are very well mannered and very helpful. The clothing is reasonably priced, but I just wish they would supply the correct sizes. 18-20 fits more like a 14-16 please start stocking larger sizes.
A. K.Primark has improved on it's quality over the years. Good for bits and bobs. Admittedly the clothing won't last as long as something more premium but for the price you can't complain.
The main reason I don't visit more frequently is that it is always busy, you have to navigate around people who have no spatial awareness or respect for any of the products - you see people pulling out T-shirts and then just shoving them back anywhere when they put them back. The queues are always very long, and for some reason they only have a few members of staff operating the tills when there are about twenty registers.
M. C.Make sure you go first thing in the morning as by lunch time it's like a jumble sale. Busy with people picking neatly folded clothes up and just slinging them back on the pile. If you are a size 4,6 or 8 you will do very well in the sales here. The cashiers are always friendly.
S. P.I did not feel safe. There were too many people in the store at one time and some getting too close, no one way system in place.

C. J.A good shop for reasonably priced clothes and accessories, be prepared to have to rummage about for your size. I would try a size bigger than you need as they are on the small side, but there is plenty to look at and they cater for all ages. We'll worth a look.
S. B. (.Great selection and wonderful staff, prices are great as long as you can ignore the fact they are made by slaves and occasionally child slaves. However on a budget they do make life easier for the working class of the UK. This particular one is good though, bit of a maze to find things and the men's section is lacking in some normal sizes but otherwise very happy with my 2 bag fulls of clothing for £100, still feel a little shame about my first and only visit due to the whole slavery thing primark is know for.

E. M.There are a good atmosphere and you can find every kind of clothes for men and women . The most important criteria is the prices.

V. D.Good place to shop cheaply but you do get what you pay for. Ideal for little trinkets for the house and has a wide range of furnishings to choose from. The staff are always so friendly and helpful and are always on the go. Don't be put off by long queues they move quickly.
D. P.Busy, noisy and overcrowded. The lifts are filthy (abandoned shopping baskets and the rotten remains of a banana today). However, the clothes are cheap, makeup supplies are a bargain and the number of brands and franchises (Marvel, Harry Potter etc) that feature for prices well below the cost of most merch for big franchises is awesome. Service is generally friendly, if hurried.
L. M.Has the men’s, women and child clothing on different floors so it’s easy finding the right section. Very useful having the coffee shop too. Staff are helpful too but not proactive, you will need to ask them first if u need help.
The prices are very low and I think the quality is good. I just hope primark ensure all its overseas factories have good working conditions etc

t. h.So inexpensive and not bad clothing... Good for casual wear. I just wish everything wasn't made in Bangladesh but I guess that's how they sell things for such low prices. Better quality clothing than Walmart.
L. L.Good value for money. However pricing can be misleading as they place a price board on the end of a rail then fill with items at different prices. Sizing is better especially for people at both ends of the scale unfortunately this is not on all items.
C. P.I always enjoy shopping here when I can handle the madness of the town centre. I can mostly find what I'm looking for most times I go though I've noticed the prices have crept higher & higher pretty quickly over the past few years & I have had several T-Shirts that I've worn maybe 3 / 4 times obviously washed after every wear & it is then unwearable ever again as it has lost its shape & even some of the print even with all instructions on items followed.
I didn't care when the top was £3 / £7 but when you pay £10 a time & more sometimes it gets a little bit tediously not to mention expensive & I like the tops that I buy... obviously & I keep some items that I may have done something memorable in, i have loads with the pics to match... (Hey some people collect stamps, i do this it's my thing, Weird I know what can I say lol.) But when it is all messed up I can't do that. I still go all the time but I can't always buy as many items or I'm careful what it feels like before I buy it as I know some of them will do this after the first 1/2 washes, it spoils it a bit when your thinking like that.
A. A. M.This is best place where i can buy clothes at very much reasonable prices. Suits to students alot who come for study can buy at reasonable prices. Whether it may jackets or shoes comes under 15-20 pounds which equals to 1500-2000.

G. S.As always it is hard to deny value for money. T-shirts and underwear are great for me. BUT as a bloke I do feel very unfairly treated. Like too many retail clothing outlets the gents section is relatively tiny and stuck well out of the way. I can recall the first time I visited the Newcastle store, missing the signage, ending up really struggling to find the small niche containing gents apparel. At least I know where it is now :-)

S. N.Great place to shop for the whole family. Plenty of great outfits can be made for your kids at very low prices. I got t shirts for my son and daughter for 1.30 per t shirt and their nice enough for the money too. Even woman's clothes, all the fashion these days it can be a big whole in the pocket shopping the latest trends at bigger named stores when in fact some of the latest looks you could probably achieve shopping at Primark. Newcastle branch is great for choice as it has many floors. Some very nice trainers for woman in at the minute perfect smart casual look available in blue and pink I bought my fiancée both pairs the price was that reasonable. For myself plain grey and white slip on trainers look just the latest styles out without the Nike or Addias logo on for £14 look great on very lightweight and comfortable. Would seriously recommend looking in store even if your not sure go and have a look around you'll be amazed. For those of you that may not be sure you check out the latest trends and what others have bought from Primark and made outfits with a lot of which follow the latest trends. You can often get outfits that look the same as what you would get a River Island etc... for a lot less.

Easy accessible lifts to go up and down the shop floors.

Good choice in sizing but more popular clothing I tend to find is always a tiny size 4/6! I think from my own personal experience they they need to staff customer services better because there is always a huge Que & very little staff (1 or 2) at the Most, so it’s never a quick in & out if your standing for a straightforward exchange or refund.

Menswear selection not as good as it used to be, used to be the entire basement floor, now you have women’s lingerie down there too. Two and a half floors of women’s wear and half a floor of men’s wear just seems wrong to me.

The only problem I have with Primark is that it is usually jammed with people shopping, but that can only be a testiment to how many people actually use this store daily.
