I very highly recommend fitting alterations by Kristina at this shop. I have had a dress shortened for a wedding and a paired of smart work trousers transformed from bootcut to straight leg superbly. I highly commend Kristina for her care and workmanship.
All the staff are very friendly and helpful.
H. P.I recently needed a little jacket to complement a dress I was wearing to a wedding. Seven suitable jackets were brought out for me to try and one was a perfect fit and colour. The staff were very friendly and helpful, I recommend it wholeheartedly.
T.I have visited Butterflies shop before with my mother and her and I absolutely loved it. The shop is clean, tidy and well organised with helpful, knowledgeable staff. The selection is so varied and as we are local we enjoy going in to view new pieces every month or so. I would highly recommend the shop especially for high-end dresses at discounted prices, as well as beautiful wedding dresses. If only I was getting married!
D. R.I was really, really, disappointed in the customer service at this shop. About three weeks ago I put a gorgeous blue dress on hold. I had started a new job and explained to the clerk that I'd pick up the dress on the day I received my first paycheque. I left my contact details with her as well.
Today I walked in, ready to pick up my dress, only to find out that the clerk had put the dress back on the shop floor because she realized she wasn't able to put things on hold for three weeks. Someone else bought the dress I've been looking forward to wearing for nearly a month now. The store didn't bother to call me. Or hell, walk down the street and knock on my door, which is about 4 houses away from them. I was given the most lacklustre of apologies and asked if I wanted to try on something else. Um, no, I want the dress I've waited a month to buy.
I'm getting married in the next year or so and I was originally going to look through the wedding dresses here. Now I'm not, because I don't want to put something on hold only to find out it's been given away to someone else when I come back to pick it up.
I will not be recommending this shop to my friends.

K. B.Just found this little gem of a shop just off the Kettering road in Northampton and have purchased several high quality items. The staff were soooo friendly and even helped me to select items that they thought suited me, and they were right! Im delighted leaving with a beautiful Gucci dress, Karen Millen handbag and Jimmy Choo shoes I felt totally prepared for a wedding I was going to that weekend. I had trawled the high street and couldnt find anything that interested me it was Friday afternoon and was a tad stressed but left feeling like the belle of the ball. They soon put me at ease and I left the shop having only spent a fraction of my budget.
I have recently been in on 2 other occasions and bought a Joules bag, leather boots and a fascinator for hopefully another wedding Ill be invited to!
