Came on a wet, windy Saturday afternoon 02.10.2021 and it was SO busy. Very crowded and messy. Best to come on a weekday morning as store is tidy and not at all crowded. Good layout, my toddler loves the escalators. New buildong is very modern and bright - large fast lifts.

Lovely staff at this location, last time I went in I wanted one of the Mickey Mouse waffle makers and there were none on the shelf - asked the lady if they were kept somewhere else and she went and grabbed one from the back for me, I didn't even ask so I was happy! Otherwise relatively cheap clothes. Docked a star because probably not the most ethical place to shop, and it can be very crowded on weekends which can make some people nervous due to covid.

I needed a lightweight, easy glide suitcase. Having seen one a family member had & told it was from Primark, I decided to see what they had in stock. An ideal size, weighing well under 3kg, with a 10 yr guarantee, only £40, ideal.

Revamp has certainly done the shop good. People have started to respect the shop and put garments back on there coat hangers instead of those floor hooks previously used. Was disappointed with the variety of clothing tho .Not everyone wishes to be wearing short skirts etc ! It's a shame that there till areas at these atpw periods have remained the same ! 2 mile long and 28 min in the que makes one just give up!

Great store with plenty of choice. The prices are unbeatable in my opinion for every day clothes. My only issue is in the men's department they have 10 changing rooms, but 7 of them are for women . This results in some large queues bearing in mind the are also women's changing rooms downstairs in the women's department.

This is the first time that I have been in since it was refurbished and I'm pleasantly surprised. I don't know if it's my imagination but it seems a lot bigger inside. The products on sale here are as most people know ard reasonably priced with lots of options. The first star was lost due to some ( not all ) of the staff were quite rude, let's say that they were unresponsive to us apologising for getting in their way (we both appreciate the fact that they were busy an therefore were trying not to prevent them from working by getting in their way ), that being said an acknowledgment to our apologies wouldn't have cost them anything. The second star was lost to the fact that I take an xxl to xxxl in clothes sizes and a 14 in shoe size, there was absolutely nothing in my size of shoes and I managed to find 3 xxl items of clothing that I liked but had there of been more clothes in my size I could have spent the full £200 and more besides that I had set aside to spend.

I do love Primark! But I wish the Norwich store had a bigger household part!.. That's my only downfall!.. But we went in the end of July and there was literally 2 people on the hills when there was 13 hills there! So we did have a bit of a wait to get to the hills!..

Fantastic shop! Even better with the refurb that has taken place. My only complaint is that the queue systems here can get quite cramped. The stock is great and i adore the disney collections. All thats missing is something for food, although if there is something i may have missed it. The beauty bar looks great and i may end up there for my caterpillars (eyebrows) in the not too distant future. Not as cheap a shop as it used to be but the stuff itself is just lovely, especially the bra section that have a fantastic range for many MANY sizes!

I would of given 5 stars but I knocked off 2 stars for the two male staff behind the tills who were sniggering about our purchases. But aside from that, the £2.50 t-shirts I buy are very good quality. I wear them for the gym and they are very hard wearing.

I came here just to pick up a couple of general bits for a new job and they had a decent selection of cardigans that I wanted and they were cheap. They also had a lot of denim shorts selection which I appreciate also. The store was surprisingly tidy for a school holiday and there was plenty of people working hard to keep the place clean and tidy.

Great inexpensive shop. But they need to have MORE LARGE SIZES ; not just 1 large n X large of each item. Sometimes no large sizes at all. This is unacceptable as the average size in UK is large 16 & above. Plus the clothing is of less than the size marked due to less material being used to keep cost down. Rag trade in family. Apart from sizing good variety of clothes etc and clean. Clothes are counted I to changing rooms but no one counts them out, what's the point. Waist of time. Good bargains in store n pleasant staff .

Always a pleasure to shop here for clothing such as shirts, trousers and shoes etc, in fact most of my clothes come from Primark! Have been shopping at the Norwich branch for years and have been pleased with it since re-opening on Haymarket! The shop redesign looks fresh and modern, but there is a point I want to bring up, the freshness is brought down by clothes being scattered on the floor on occasion and certain pieces of stock being ticketed wrong etc, it’s been a slight issue for years but it’s only minor! On the topic of CV-19, social distancing could be monitored a bit more in store by security and members of staff, it’s literally like a warzone if you want to get by in this shop with customers piling on top of each other and pushing past, the staff do all they can but it’s still not monitored enough to have a dramatic effect! However hand sanitising stations are on entry and floor markings are clear, shame that their customers don’t understand social distancing! I would say 95% of the staff are friendly and talkative, you do get the occasional member who is the opposite usually a couple hours before closing time but that hasn’t put me off coming here again! Cannot wait to see what is new in store after lockdown 2 is lifted for Xmas stock! ❤️

I prefer this location over the Haymarket as the shop is a lot bigger. The rails are a lot more spaced out so I find it less stressful to shop here when you're looking for something cheap. In comparison to the Primark (as was) in Gentleman's Walk this place (being in the old BHS) is so much better. I know it's temporary however the building is spacious and has AIR CONDITIONING!!! There are always queues on both floors for the tills and frankly the single lift is silly as the wait is terrible! However saying all this the clothes are cheap - the kids get what they want at prices parents can afford and the adults get a sneeky treat now and again too!! Little tip - the shop opens at 8am weekdays and Saturday. Go then - it's wonderful as it's quiet and you get to stroll around in peace!

He went and got the items /colours i had wanted, after l was told by first young assistant they were none of the colours. l was looking for, I do have to point that she was willing to go and get the items. l had my little dog with me. And need these shoes for my daughter work.

Primark is always a bit of trial and error, sometimes you can pick up a real steal in there, but i often find myself a little disappointed by the heavily-merchandised (i haven't seen that much Minnie Mouse since Disney Land!) However, they are always reliable for good quality jeans at very reasonable prices, picking up two pairs for £20 which will last me a good long while. The staff were also very lovely; serving with a smile, chatting away and wishing me a good day.

When in primark today I found the choice of clothing range for men,women and baby boys have been cut by half to what it was like in the other shop. The place is alot more tidy then what it has been but lots of staff standing around talking. The spot lights are to bright for young children/babys, there is also random studs on the floor that you can trip over like I and my partner did today, as wasnt aware they where their.

Cheap clothing which does actually last longer than you may think - obviously there are exceptions but that can happen with any clothing purchased from other shops. I always find the staff extremely helpful. Gripe 're the returns policy ie no receipt no refund, exchange or gift voucher - this means I can't wear it and have to give to charity shop or maybe I should just make sure I keep the receipt hmm 🙄

I actually really like this store despite it just being a temporary store to fill in for the old one. The layout is really nice and reminded me much more of my Primark stores back home in London. Visited mid afternoon on a Saturday and whilst it was busy, many tills were free and there was no queue. Only deducted one star as for the size of the shop I believe there were quite a few items missing, but other than that what was there was well stocked and actually really well organised. I think staff were constantly rearranging sizes and refolding things that customers had unfolded and the shop has nice spacing so I didn't feel like I was constantly in everyone's way despite having a big basket.

Well...It's a Primark to be fair. Staff work tirelessly to ensure the place is well presented after people who pick up and throw clothes down. Ample staff so whilst the queues may be long, you won't be hanging around for any more than a few minutes.

The temporary store on St Stephens Street is very good and hopefully the new one they're currently putting together will be just as good - spacious and big! It's best to visit in the morning during the week as it's an absolute madness to shop here over the weekend due to the crowds.

Cheap prices on vast clothing items. But in the summer it's extremely warm in the shop and it gets even hotter on the next floor up. Also a bad point is there's only 2 male changing rooms in the whole store located on the bottom floor for some reason even though the men's clothing is upstairs.

Despite all the excitement about this store being relocated in our city...I do feel the layout is confusing and could be better. Spent a while trying to find the item I was looking for....also. I do feel a bit claustrophobic( I'm not normally one to suffer from this) in there , as when it's busy it's a bit stiffeling due to only one door to go in or out. For the mass of products the store sells it could do with better organising.

The temporary store on St. Stephens is now closed! This store at Haymarket/ Gentleman’s Walk opened on 11 December. Went there within a week of opening and it was incredibly busy and difficult on ground floor trying to navigate around rails and other shoppers. It’s a good size store and at the time I went it didn’t look messy but more like a department store with things neatly arranged. Products are set out over 3 floors so it’s quite difficult to find things you’re after whereas before all womenswear, bags, shoes, accessories and homeware used to be on same floor.

Only one problem I have or we all have is the lines up and down stairs get so over crowded that you cant really move around to find what your looking for. Other then that I think its excellent!!

This store is usually very busy, especially during weekends and afternoons. I'd recommend visiting early in the day to avoid the rush and the mess. I've had very mixed experiences from the staff in this store. Some have gone out of their way to help me find what I'm looking for where as on other occasions I have seen managers arguing on the shop floor and ignoring customers. Queues are usually rather long especially on the customer service desk. Be aware this is the only place in store where you can do returns so allow plenty of time to get in and out of store.

It's a great shop. Lots of beautiful clothes and shoes and especially a huge selection for women. Nearly all items are worth the money from what I have bought before. They also have lots of nice homeware and accessories. They last a long time there blankets and throws are gorgeous and so soft. They can get busy on Saturdays but that shows that's it's a popular shop even though it may be annoying. There are only 2 slight downsides which are some items are small for there size for example size 16 will be like the size of a 14 so you may need to buy the size above plus it can get quite messy but the only people to blame for that is the customers dor not putting stuff away properly I always see staff trying to tidy up so you can't complain about the mess.

A nice shop for reasonably priced clothes. Set over 2 floors with tills to pay on both levels. There is a lift which is handy for wheelchairs and buggys. There are doors onto the street at both ends of the shop which seems to be used by the general public as a shortcut from one street to another. It can be very busy at times and feel a little like a motorway. This is frustrating when browsing and has resulted in me not buying items on occasions when there's so many people walking through you can't get to an item of clothing you have seen. Otherwise good selection of clothing, bags and shoes.

Dont go to Norwich often, was suprised to see the primark was having work and had temp been moved, there was a map on the boardings outside on both the front and back of the store and they were both identical saying u r here, not knowing the street names or bearings we wandered around asking people till we eventually found it about 100 yards up the street, perhaps and arrow in the direction and saying 100 yards that way would have saved myself and my 3 young girls walking around like lost tourists
