This store is something my wife remembers from the time she was in the UK all those years ago. As a result, she wanted to visit this store while we were in Nottingham. My wife and daughter picked up a couple of dresses. My daughter also picked up a pair of Minnie Mouse shoes. I picked up a set of pajamas. The store was extremely busy with all the students visiting the store. Checkout was pretty quick considering the length of the queue when we started queueing.

Very good welcome from young guy in shop/reception. Lovely food in restaurant in castle. Terrace cafe, the BEST poached eggs on salmon/roll/rocket and Hollandaise. Friendly staff giving directions. Excellent history section,and great art/regiment galleries. Pouring rain outside but a fabulous place o visit in any weather.

I love Primark and their clothes, great prices for good, new quality, don't think you'll get anything as good for the price. Very reliable shop and often good collections come in. Have great, basic clothes too and everythings there.. except maybe for onesies, only Minecraft creeper ones, which I'm not very fond to wear.

I found this Primark store a battle to find my way around it. Once I found the mens clothing section was I did manage to buy a few bargains. The store was busy but not packed. Didn't have to wait more than a few minutes to be served. Staff were friendly

Like all Primark’s, used to be cheap but everything changes nowadays. Plenty of clothes to choose from, quite big shop in itself if I recall 3 floors, it was a bit overcrowded but still fine, everyone will find something for themselves.

The boys' section isn't great. There's plenty of women's and girls but we couldn't find a simple hoodie when we went in. I doubt I'll be returning to that store, the Primark in Derby is much better.

One of the larger Primarks otherwise pretty much the same as any other primark experience. Cheaper clothes but generally decent given the price point, as with any Primark long ques and very busy at peak times so avoid those times and youll be ok.

Very busy city centre store with fragile infrastructure and this proves problematic as was evidenced on last visit when escalator was broken down and customers for upstairs (men and kids) had to form giant queue for a lift. The store needs a customer stair case. Imagine if a fire was to break out in those conditions!

Just the same as always! We went in after going round the Christmas market, and it wasent too busy. the prices have noticeably gone up quite a bit, but they do have a very good selection of Disney House wear and clothes, in time for Christmas. staff where polight and the store was tidy.

Great prices. Queues go down quickly. Questionable sizing (can be 1 of 3 different sizes - just have to judge/try on while ignoring the size label, which can be difficult for many). But generally good value for money clothes.

It has been a long time since I went into a Primark store after my last visit to the Birmingham store was like a crazy jumble sale with clothing all over the floor and really in a bad state. This store was much better. It was clean and tidy and well organised. It was very busy and there were huge queued but they were handled well and I soon got served. I bought 2 pairs of Leggings and a 3 pack of trainer socks for less than £10. What a bargain!

Very large selection, store is 2 stories and they make good use of all of the checkouts/tills. They have a Costa too which is quite nice Staff helped process a return (bought the wrong item) More expensive than other primarks unfortunately, not sure if it is the different clothes available or just the store itself

Clothes are ok in prices but wish they would be mindful of wearing a mask and being careful with others. It gets to me walking around half the store of people not wearing masks. That also notice it with staff too. I mean I understand some people can not but there should be that many that are exempt from the mask.

They are up on social distancing even if customers aren't. Easy to find things and plenty of staff to ask. Heating is always on so heat and masks make it not so enjoyable. The downside is the queues at the tills, either upstairs or downstairs queues are always there but they do try to get them down as quickly as possible.

A good place to purchase cheeper clothes which are of a good quality. Previously when purchasing primal clothes I found that they would wear out very quickly. Although now Primark's products last much longer, are more resistant to damage, and tend to be a smoother material as well. The staff here are good and will help customers out the best was possible. Shopping at Primark can be good and the quality is much better now. However, the materials and manufacturing methods are unethical. When purchasing anything from Primark you should be aware of their sources consider the effects of yourself purchasing products from Primark.

Primarks massive, and once you know where everything is, you know for life. BUT I wear black primark jeans. I wear the same jeans every day. They're getting old and i want to replace them with like for like. This set of primark jeans is no longer sold at primark. There are plenty of types of black jeans to buy, and their names are indecipherable: casual fit, skinny, skinny fit, super skinny fit, regular fit. It's fine, fashion changes, but i want function, i want to buy 2 of the same pair of jeans every 2 years until i die. I'm hyper aware how sad this is but I just want the exact jeans I have now, but new. Thanks primark, you're otherwise very good and affordable.

Great to be back in the shops! No queues early doors and got busier as it went along. Sanitiser stations available. All seated areas including indoors Costa roped off. Not very inclusive or thoughts for disabled visitors to the store. More down to Boris than Primark. Can make trips painful and exhausting.

I visited Primark a few days ago at point of opening and it was organised and I found just what I needed in the homestore department, the only thing I would say is the clothing range was a little tired as some items were clearly from last year's stock, however, I appreciate we have just emerged from an incredibly difficult period and I'm sure as autumn approaches we will see a refreshed range.

The staff in the store have made sure that everything is as COVID-safe as it can be, however I didn’t notice many hand-sanitiser stations around the store, with the only one that I saw being at the entrance/exit fo the store, and at the Costa. Also, the escalator to take customers to the first floor wasn’t working, so we had to go up the stairs instead - and these were packed and people weren’t following social distancing on the stairs. Other than that, I felt safe in the store, and the staff were very knowledgable.

Usually very busy so sometimes I walk in and back out again because I don't like crowds. But if I am going to get something specific then this shop does what I need it to do. I get my trousers from here, sometimes tops. I love the Harry potter ranges. Great for socks at a cheaper price if you get through them fast. Today I got some cotton leggings for £2.50. Despite being busy (Saturday afternoon) the till staff got through the queue at an extremely good pace!

Long queue to get into primark, but it does move quickly. All return / exchange items are put into a trolley at the tills to protect staff (this is good). Lots of stock in to choose from. They could possibly add a one way system around the store (would be hard to maintain though). Very close to tram stops at old market square, and the store is wheelchair accessible.

Huge selection of clothes , plus home textile and cosmetic products all under one roof @ prices that most can afford without breaking the bank . Please note it can be very busy at times but with low price banding on products it is worth a look . The atmosphere is ultra modern and contemporary, till time is brief as they have plenty of well trained polite staff waiting to help. A must for the budget conscious high fashion shopper.

A nice inexpensive place to get clothes. They are not the best quality but are great for the price! I shop here when I come in to Nottingham for a visit and pack less than I need. It is usually pretty busy during prime shopping times. Staff is helpful and they have a lot in stock.

When I first came into this branch a couple of years ago, at Christmas, with my sis in law and our toddlers, the staff came over with a little cup of treats (mini gingerbread, marshmallow etc) to keep them happy while we drank coffee. That lovely gesture meant a lot that day and I've never forgotten it. Brilliant.

The store is however incredibly crowded, and the choice of men's clothes and shoes is quite limited compared to the selection of clothes for women. Saying that there is still a good range for men. Avoid during peak times as getting around is a nightmare. Also be wary of sizes, men's sizes are consistent but the sizes for women can sometimes be different from item to item, even if they are technically the same size.

One of my favourite Primarks to visit when I'm back in my hometown. A big variety over two floors and if you go early, there's more sizing options. Location is good, your seconds away from market Square, minutes away from Victoria center and 5mins from Broadmarsh. What more could you ask for!

The store has has a major revamp which is nice to see. The layout is much better and clothing quality has improved and prices have reflected this. Initially I was a little unsure about the Costa upstairs however after one trip to Primark with my nightmare shopper of a boyfriend I waa glad for the refreshment and also the designated seating/waiting area with device chargers. The staff always look well presented and are friendly. It is also nice to see a strong presence of managers on the shop floor helping out staff.

The whole shopping experience was surprisingly painless. The first checkout assistant Trevor was fab, he was really friendly and funny and advised in future as I'm disabled I should use the priority checkout which I knew nothing about. The second time I used the priority checkout. A couple of staff members walked passed and ignored me, but then the supervisor Elizabeth came over and couldn't apologise enough although I'd only waited a couple of minutes. She too was amazing, very friendly, chatty and constantly smiling. I'll definitely be going again and would recommend it as a disabled friendly store.

Although Primark is a budget retail clothes shop, there is a lot of choice for casual wear and accessories. However the ladies wear is far better than the mens wear for fashionable choices and looking trendy!!!!!! This store is great value and fashionable for the women !!

Service is always good but the staff have too much mess/stock to deal with to keep the place tidy. That's not their fault. Be aware that this store is busy all through the week but Saturday and payday are the times to avoid.

Weird review this. I truly hate this place. However thats mainly due to how packed with people it gets. To be fair to Primark they open more tills when they need to and try to make the experience a good one... Put simply it's cheap and people love it. Oh and men (speaking as one and not being sexist) there's a Costa coffee to nip to while the other half is shopping.

This is a fairly big Primark store with all the usual departments from women's shoes to men's pyjamas to baby grows plus a Costa in-store, too! The staff are really friendly here and the queue at the till goes down really quick, despite sometimes looking scarily long. The only issue I found with the store was now cramped it was on the lower level. Moving around wasn't as easy and I imagine it would have been very difficult for wheelchair users.

Cheap, mass produced reasonably priced clothes for men. Not the highest quality mind, but I buy t shirts, socks and sometimes a jumper or two The Primark in town is usually jam packed with shoppers, but is well stocked and has a large selection of clothing.

Everyone knows that Primark represents good value for money. One niggle is that I couldn't find a place to sit for a few minutes to rest my legs during a rather long shopping visit. As someone who relies on crutches to get around, a stool or small seat here and there would be much appreciated.

I called into Primark with my son the other day to get some tops for him. My son is a 15 year old wheelchair user with severe behavioural problems. Ordinarily this kind of visit could be very stressful for him and me . I was really pleasantly surprised at the new ( to me anyway ) disabled checkout. This is a much lower counter aimed at the wheelchair user ,but more importantly the lovely staff in there have been trained to spot any wheelchair customer that may be queueing and direct them to this checkout. The clothing in Primark is already good quality and value but this added service ,for me and my son,is now the icing on the cake. Congratulations and well done to Primark and the staff for making the effort to treat disabled persons with respect.

Didn't buy anything but the store is well presented, there is a fantastic range of products. Only thing that puts me off is there are so many people and it's hard to get to anything you want or to try things in. Go early if you're like me.

Great place for throw away fashion. The prices are good so you can indulge in this seasons fashions without having to worry about whether its a sensible buy that will last. Its also great for accessories and kids clothes, the staff are good especially the customer service staff who deal with returns.
