Visited on the morning of Sunday September 18th 2022, needed a suit for my adult son. A lady came over and asked if we needed help, which we really did, we had no idea how to buy a good quality suit. She measured him and asked what he wanted and why (what was the event) we talked colours and she explained what was in at the moment and what is timeless, she asked what he liked and why and what he didn’t. Then she showed us to a selection asked his opinion then we went upstairs and she just pulled out suits that were perfect, she gave him a jacket to try on that looked like he borrowed it from someone in error, she went off and came back with a suit and it was perfect, colour, style, fit, perfect, then shirts, she found exactly what he wanted. This lady, whose name I didn't get unfortunately was an absolute star, legend and magician. she listened and found what we needed even if we didn't release what we needed, she really knew what she was talking about. There was no hard sell, no pressure, she just helped, and she really did. The suit looks, fits and makes him feel amazing, yes it wasn’t cheap we paid £408 for a suit, two shirts, tie and belt, and yes we paid £5 for a suit bag, but she bagged it all up for us as the event was not local and she assured him on arrival just open it up and let it hang for a while and it would be all good to go, which it was. If you are looking for a good quality, decent suit this is the place to go, and if you are lucky enough to get the lady who helped us you will be impressed. In this instance you really do get what you pay for, of course you can grab an off the rack suit from a supermarket for less money, but if like us you didn’t really know what you wanted and what works this is the place to go, the staff are amazing the shop has a lot of stock you wouldn’t believe suits come in this many colours, I am sure if we gave her a budget she would have worked to it for us , as I said there was no hard sell. Couldn’t be happy and my son felt great for the event, would really recommend this shop and its team. Huge thank you for all her help, ( I wish I had got her name)

Purchased a 3 piece suit, shirt tie and pocket square. Felt a bit overpriced for what I got. They did tailor the sleeve length of the suit Jacket for me which was useful. Spent quite a lot of money on the suit, didn’t come with a suit bag and when I asked was told I would have to pay extra for the suit bag. Given the amount I spent would have expected the bag to be included.

Went in to get a 2 piece suit was meet by a woman who was so friendly and helpful made it so easy to find what I needed and what was best fit. Had to get some bits ordered and was told to come back in the next day or 2. At this point I was ready to give 5 stars I was very impressed. Jump to 3 days later......I went to get my suit and seen it was different staff this time and this time I did not feel welcomed and it felt like we got your money here is your stuff goodbye. After setting the bar on my first visit i would of recommended to everyone but after my second visit I would think twice. 1st visit was midweek 2nd was a weekend. Maybe go in midweek next time

An absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. Would have paid more just for the advise and support. Came here A couple years ago which is why I came back and will always recommend Peter to assist! We had a great laugh, attentive to the needs we wanted and gave advise when we felt blind. Finding a good suit after a few years of covid restrictions was never meant to be easy and after a few failed attempts at fininding suits with longer length options we tried Moss Bros thinking they may have more range. There were a few options for lighter suits on display upstairs for summer weddings and such which were to our liking. However we still had to order longer length (of which there is no waistcoat option just standard) The Man who served us was quite helpful and suggested alternate suits with the correct sizing so we could be comfortable in what we were to order for home delivery. He focused on what we could obtain in terms of size/length and price rather than being pesimistic which was appreciated. Would shop again for any future weddings and events.

Visited Moss Bros Plymouth yesterday, excellent service from the staff. Our group of 5 with a 30 year age difference between us looking for wedding suits. Expertly looked after by Sue giving options and advice to ensure we all look the part on the big day later in the year.

Visited the Plymouth branch after going to several other suit stockists. The staff, I believe peter was his name was great at his job and customer service. He measured me and was very accurate at selecting sizes for my shape and style I was looking for. I actually purchased a far more expensive suit than I was initially looking at. Not because of any up sale I just enjoyed the service so much I decided to treat myself. No buyers remorse here, I now have a lovely suit that is well fitted which lead to a amazing day and lovely photos of me in my suit at my sisters wedding. Visited on the 4th of March 2020 and cannot speak highly enough of my experience, great staff are hard to find and keep and I do hope you pass this on to peter as his efforts were very much appreciated.

The staff are helpful and friendly. The issue is with the range they offer. Sometimes, you may want something in a bit of a hurry and I feel like there should be enough options to accommodate this. I am quite an average size and height, perhaps a little skinnier than some but not drastically different. The store was not able to find me suitable clothes even with a weeks notice and had nothing in my size available at all, which I find baffling. If it were not for the very pleasant and helpful woman who served me I would rate lower. Moss bros. should really try to improve their range.

Chose here to get our wedding suits for next year. Very helpful staff to help measure sizes, check that suits fitted properly and help with different sizes or alterations. Though disappointed after lots of fittings to be told the hire suit was being discontinued even when told the time of wedding. Luckily helpful manager who found the suit to buy online anyway so worked out in the end. Phew!

Lovely well laid out clothing. Some really cool clothing here and you can get so much tailor made. I haven't been in Moss Bros for decades but will be back for a new suit and a few shirts. Love it in here now. Much better than the previous couple of years. Staff were extremely helpful pointing us in the right direction for what we needed. Mostly suits between £99 & £500. Worth a visit if you need to buy a suit. No women's suits though.

Torn between 2 and 3 stars considering the small fortune I paid for a fully tailored 3 piece suit, I expected it to fit. The guy instore on the day of my fitting took 1 measurement of my chest and then had me try on a shelf suit. He then took all further measurements from the shelf suit instead of my actual body I requested that mine be accurate to how slim I am and he said it will be fine because you naturally put on weight as you age... I've always been very slim which is why I chose to tailor! The tailored blazer is very loose on me, even with the waistcoat on. The delivery was a different fiasco as it was late past the promised day, so for my sisters wedding I turned up in a Primark. First day I called I was told it will be there in 2 days... 2 days later I call and am told next week... next week I am told the week after. Delivery aside, the suit is fantastic quality. I imagine that if someones measurements are actually taken, a tailored suit from Moss Bros would be 10/10

The service here is pretty good and they have a large range of items for weddings etc. Suits to buy are very well made and there is a style to suit all tastes. Suit hire is available for weddings and they are extremely competitive compared to others. Definitely worth a look.

Went in on Monday to buy a suit for an upcoming wedding, I never wear suits so was unsure of size or style, the guy who served us was brilliant, very patient and helpful, not having the waistcoat in stock he checked and was able to order it online and Thursday had the whole suit delivered at home. Well pleased with quality suit at great price and fantastic service. Thanks
