Visited the store this morning for a uniform fitting with my son who starts Secondary this September. We were assigned to Martin. He was super friendly, extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Can't thank him enough. He certainly made the experience a good one!! Definitely recommend the store and the cheerful staff.

Excellent service. So patient with our Grandaughter and very understanding of her needs. She was very anxious about uniform shopping, trying on clothes being fitted for clothes is very traumatic for her normally but thanks to the lovely staff she was smiling and happy. Just been into this store to buy a PE kit for my son. The Saturday staff are beyond excellent! The lady who served me was more than willing to open packets to view sizes for my teenage son who didn’t want to come with me. The service was so good I decided to buy his new blazer at the same time. I was clearly given advice on returns policy which put my mind at rest should I need to return it. This team are shining examples in delivering a wonderful shopping experience. I’ve received some pretty shoddy treatment in town recently and I am reluctant to buy in the town centre because of this. Thank you Saturday staff! I will definitely visit again for all my sons uniform and recommend any parents needing help to come and see you! Brilliant Warmest regards Joanna

I was dreading doing the shopping for school wear for my 4 children. I pulled into the car park and felt full of dread. Upon entering the shop it seemed very busy but an assistant was beside us in no time asking if we needed any help. She was only young and explained she was herself was about to start 6th form at Plymstock herself. She was very mature and competent at her job and very polite. She lead my son and I around the store and helped us chose everything we needed. She helped with sizing and nothing was to much bother for her. We were finished our shop in under an hour and it was completely stress free thanks to that lovely young assistant. I will definitely shop at trutex again after this experience and I hope the management at the store value this young lady as part of their team. She is a real asset to the company. Thank you for making my dreaded uniform shop a pleasure.

I didnt realise it was appointment only and went this morning when it was raining. The young man Iestin (hope i have spelt that right!) let me go in and get some school cardigans for my daughter. He was extremely helpful and very polite. Well done . Great service.

With 3 Children of school age I have visited the shop many times and after my last visit I was so impressed that I had to write a review, Its not something I do so I must have been impressed! As usual I was met by and enchanting lady who believe was called Sue, I was greeted with a smile and a cheery hello and the usual offer or assistance, Once I had found the items I needed Sue even arranged the name embroidery which I didn't even know they do! there was another young lady in the shop who also was very polite and friendly and was only to pleased to help when we couldn't find the sizes needed, When my order was ready, as promised we had calls to our mobiles and landlines saying that the items could be collected and sure enough when we got there all was ready and waiting for us, All in all I cannot recommend Trutex Plymouth enough and as for the person who wrote the nasty review.. well were they in the same shop??

Visited the store on numerous occasions, I found all of the staff to be very welcoming and friendly, Although some are a on the younger side they are very polite, helpful and with a great knowledge of schoolwear, the Trutex brand is always of a very high quality and wears very well. One item I ordered was a little bit late, they even delivered it in their own car! That's what I call service!! Would not hesitate to recommend this store to anyone.

I have been having difficulties sourcing particular items which I couldn't find in any of the other specialist stores in Plymouth. The staff at Trutex Schoolwear and More went the extra mile to help me obtain the items promptly. The quality was excellent and the price was extremely competitive. Wasn't too pleased they didn't have enough of my sons uniform so he had to go school on the first week with no blazer and only two item's of sports kit. Would of thought they would be able to keep up with supply and demand
