Slaters Menswear to the rescue!! What a great service we received hear from the staff in store. We were more than happy with the the efficient service that we received. We all ended up owning a top notch suit each & at the bargain price of only £110 that also included a matching waist coat as well. I've been really impressed with the superb service I got today at Slaters in Preston. I've never been to this shop before. My son needed a suit, and we couldn't get what we wanted in other shops. At Slaters we've got a fantastic and very helpful assistance and got exactly what we needed. The suit with a perfect fit which meets our specifications and is excellent value for money. The trousers were a bit long, but were fixed in the shop in a matter of minutes free of charge. Many thanks to our assistant Jack B and the tailor for your top-notch professionalism.

I would certainly recommend Slater Menswear for their very professional service. I took my elderly father for a suit, shirt, tie and shoes for my daughter's forth coming wedding. We was seen to by 2 gentlemen, who were incredibly helpful. John helped with the styling after informing him of what the style was. The wedding was organised over a year ago and due to COVID final fittings were a nightmare (grooms fault not slaters). Days leading up and on the day we had issues with waistcoats again not slaters fault. I visited Slater’s Store in Preston on Sunday 08/03/20 and received excellent service from Sales Lady, Dianne and Seamstress Georgina. Their Professionalism and Customer Service was outstanding. Both my Son and myself need 3 piece suits for my Daughter’s wedding in May. Came here three times with different groomsman or for fittings and the staff who dealt with me were always exceptional and would come to greet me. My only issue was that they offered to give me the suits and ties with one suit and tie free, but it ended up being one suit and tie free instead for my 7 groomsmen which I thought was a bit shady. On the 12/12/19 I visited your Preston Branch and I received absolutely first class customer service. I went to the store to hire a formal dinner suit. On arrival I was greated immediately in a very polite and professional manner by a staff member. She quickly, and with the minimum of fuss, ascertained my requirements. We discussed the benefits of hiring a suit etc and identified the advantages of purchasing a formal suit. I purchased a suit, shirt and shoes . The staff member even arranged for the trousers to be altered there and then. I reiterate, impeccable, polite and professional customer service. May I also add, this was my very first experience of shopping at Slater's but it certainly won't be my last.

Slaters at Preston was recommended to me by a friend who hired their wedding suits from there last year.....coming from Wigan, Slaters meant one thing, new school uniform but now it’s taken on a whole new meaning! My husband and sons needed suits for a black tie wedding and as this is something we knew very little about we found the staff in the store more than willing to offer their advice and expertise. From the security guard greeting us as we entered the store to the checkout with advice on how best to carry our suit bags our experience was a great one. The staff are so friendly and approachable and personalise the experience to make it special.....I would not hesitate to recommend them and will be returning for my own children’s wedding. And very reasonable too I may add!

The moment I walked in I was warmly welcomed. After a few moments browsing someone came and measured me and asked me to try a few suits on to see how they fit and feel. Within moments I found the suit I wanted, I was recommended free alterations to it and to collect it the next day. The tailor reminded me of Alfred from Batman. One of the other reviews here is talking absolute garbage, every single trip I have taken to Slaters (about 8 in total) the staff have ALWAYS been friendly, approachable and very helpful and they definitely know their stuff about suits; what looks good and what doesn't. To top it off all the suits I have bought from Slaters for work have been fantastic, albeit one did discolour but it was my own fault for not dry cleaning (do not machine wash - even on 30 - if it states dry clean). Undoubtedly I will be back there in the next few months for a new suit.

Unbelievable! I went here with no hope of finding anything to fit my disproportionately long arms after scouring surrounding towns and cities for a suit for a wedding. I was served by one of the Tailors called Alan. Now, being a guy who knows nothing of fashion or clothing in general I was well out of my depth. Alan (what a guy) made me feel so comfortable and valued, I was hooked, he found me a suit almost immediately that fitted, they have such a wide range of suits across all budgets. He couldn't do enough for me, fitting a suit not only to me but to my budget. After finally deciding on a suit (after trying on maybe 8) I the even went on to buy shoes, shirt and a tie to go with my suit as I was so impressed with the service. The service which also went above and beyond in Alan arranging for the trousers to be Altered there and then so everything fitted perfectly before taking it away! I have no doubt I wouldnt feel this way if I hadn't been dealt with so tentatively and made to feel so valued as a customer but it was hands down the best shopping experience of my life! I have seen several other reviews about this store and the incredible customer service! I would pay more in store than online any day and take this kind of customer service. 'I'd you're a bloke and looking for clothes in Preston (or wherever else there's a Slaters Store), you're missing out if you dont go to Slaters'

After trying Debenhams to hire wedding attire, we googled and found Slaters of Preston, will be first stop every time from now on. They provide first class service, never pushy, cater for all shapes and sizes and point you in the right direction, if special occasion, for all your needs. Great customer service. I recently purchased three suits from Slators. The chap who dealt with me was great, sizing the jacket and pants well and taking up the trousers by the perfect amount (alteration was FOC). Last week I wore one of the suits for the first time and managed to get a small hole in the jacket. I took it back to see if Slators could repair it (at my cost, it was my fault). The manager said that it couldn't sensibly be repaired but as a good will gesture (I have bought a number of suits over the years) they would replace the jacket free of charge. To be honest, I was speechless. I had not eluded to any gesture or tried to say it wasn't my fault (which it clearly was so why pretend otherwise?....). I was expecting there to be a 'gotcha' moment re. paying but the manager checked the stock and came over with a new jacket, checked it over and 60 seconds later I was leaving the shop with a new jacket and with nothing to pay! Customer service of this type just isn't the norm today unless you are paying top dollar at a London outfitter. Well done Slators of Preston and Thank you!
