S. S.One stop shop for all your clothing, accessories and home needs at a very reasonable rate. Lot of collections available but choose carefully as quality and size varies to a great extent. A good way to speed your time on a weekend. Good service too!
o. a.Well detailed. Aisles are well defined and they have everything and anything you need, from clothings to shoes and bags, nice house decors etc. Friendly and helpful staff. Also, things are pretty cheap here.
k. t.Seems limited in options although has 3 floors, Basingstoke primark seemed much better with lot of options. Space also seems little crammed with not much of room and reductions are okay not as expected. Went to get zipped jackets for my 2 daughters not found any girls section.

Reading central Primark had 4 floors plus one underground for Home 🏡 section. If you are not too much worried about quality or long term clothes, Primark is your best bet. Most of the clothes/accessories were Made in Bangladesh, China, India etc. Primark is like Sarojani Market (New Delhi, India). Prices are cheap here and with each week it decreases and finally in a month or so it’s 60-80% off. They have a coffee ☕️ shop as well serving £1 coffee :)

Unfortunately, after a missed up refund operation, we ended up with a shirt if size S, and what we needed is size M, and we couldn't reach a conclusion with the store manager in Reading UK, trying to persuade him that maybe the cashier did a small mistake, the ended up with us having a peice of clothes that we will not use, and can not exchange.
Other than that, the Primark store is a great store for all your needs of clothes, with a really good affordable prices with good quality and so many choices
M. P.Huge store (three floors!) full of all sorts of clothing and footwear. It's cheap. Everyone knows it's cheap and that's it's success. Quality on many items is very reasonable. Single queue system for tills worked well. Fairly clean with only a few items out of place. Managed to find the one particular item wanted. Overall a surprisingly good shopping experience.

V. O.This is a large store with a brilliant range of clothes and accessories. Absolutely everything under one roof. Excellent value for money. The jeggings I got are a terrific price and a great fit; not too tight and they really wash well. The knitted tops are a great autumn wardrobe addition and fantastic value. The camisole tops come in lots of colours but the stripy one is just gorgeous for the price. Make sure to bring your own reusable bags as you will end up buying more than you plan to and the bags supplied are not waterproof.

The service and atmosphere was excellent and made my shopping experience special. I look forward to my next visit. There are bargains to suit every pocket. I bought 6 pairs of loud patterned socks, 2 pairs of casual trousers, 3 up to date comical tee shirts and a bluetooth speaker. All in all a great experience. Highly recommended.
V. V.This is a best place for kids & ladies dresses. I did not find much collection for men. But kids section has lot of collections. Place is very close to railway station. Be cautious about parking. If you come during weekends nearby parkings are full but you can utilize the mall's parking ( it is costly though)

I was just a bit annoyed that during this time of Covid and people being ill, self isolation etc, that when we wanted to return 2 items of clothing and exchange them for ones that fit, as their changing rooms are closed so could not try them on, (completely understand that they are closed), but we were told that we were 1 day too late to exchange. They did back down, but i had to go through a manager to get them too. It is not as easy as it used to be to go shopping especially for those like us who have underlying health conditions. Come on Primark, be more flexible. Would have been 5 stars.

Most impressive: the checkouts run very efficiently. On a Sunday 2 weeks before Christmas the line was halfway down the side of the shop, but it moved very quickly and the staff (though I'm sure exhausted) were friendly and polite.

There are lots of clothes to choose from and the prices are incredibly cheap. The staff are polite and helpful, I didn't have any issues finding what I was looking for.

A. A.Great place to shop for clothing that won't break the bank. Do be aware these clothes are bulk made and have been times when items have holes in. Verify each item before buying. Also there is a 28 days refund policy. If you fall out of these 28 days you will be stuck with your items.
N. K.You can get good deals here at primark. Look for discounts from time to time. Most of the products are made in china and you xan understand about quality. Generally what you pay is what you get. Still i suggest to have a look at the various items that are affordable and you don't really want to spend much.
H. T.So I have to admit, I miss the old Primark in Reading and especially after they initiated that queuing system which from my experience was so quick! But this new store does have it's plus points - being the staff. Cashiers are always very friendly, helpful and chatty which I think is quite nice. The floor staff are very helpful too. I feel like the floors are a bit unorganised though - feels a bit odd to me to have the womens sections spread out in the way they are and again I go back to memory of the old store, it didn't feel as chaotic as this. I can't really say anything about the cafeteria as I haven't been in there yet! As another plus point though, I've noted it does seem to have a nice late (late-ish) closing time of around 6 or so. I know that some store based cafe's are a little more early with closing times. I shall go in there and update this review after!
P.Price friendly stuff. Good clothing variety at low prices, home furnishings and bags etc too. Just that the staff at the cash point Tills need to be trained better
L. K.Really busy recently. Most staff were wearing masks but not many customers. Queues at the tills were quite long and a bit slow.

Charging ports, seats, a cafe, a lift, they pretty much have everything you would need in this primark but the only thing I would say is that signal is very poor inside. This is the only high street shop I will buy from but nowadays their prices are becoming steep so I find myself window shopping more than actually purchasing. Despite this they are still miles cheaper than other stores so I do not go anywhere else!
J. H.The store has an extensive women's and children's department and a refreshingly large men's section by today's High Street standards. Homeware is also available at great prices. The quality across the store is mediocre but great value for money as we have come to expect from Primark stores.

I'm not overly familiar with the women's TWO floors but have managed to find pretty decent gifts in the jewellery section. Home section is good too.

Only place as far as I'm concerned to shop at. Even if you went for a look you would end up with a few items. Can get very busy as a popular choice for most people to shop.

K.It seems they lead trends in fashion at a low price. Staff helpful although you have to look for them. Shop is well organised but light is not exactly natural this altering colours a bit. Make sure you check everything you got outside to make sure it's what you wanted. They should hire more staff to accommodate customers

This is because of the low price and vast choice in the clothes available... however the main problems I had with the store in it's original place in Reading, which despite my enthusiasm for the store, were big enough an issue for me to be reluctant and unhappy about visiting the store and for me to make my visit as short as possible, causing me to buy a lot less than I otherwise might, have unfortunately been carried on after the store's relocation. The biggest of these issues is that the store is far too hot and airless, leading you to feel hot, stressed and almost panicky after about 5 minutes inside. The second issue is that there aren't enough staff so that if you need help, you have to search the entire floor for a staff member, sometimes only finding one when you reach the tills. My last issue is that other than a few staff members who have stood out to me for their care and customer service, most of the staff seem permanently angry and resent the customer for asking for help.

S. A. C.This Primark store has actually improved from past years and as a mum of teenagers, it is my first choice when they need some t-shirts and leggings that they'll overgrow in no time. Also, has a cafe with comfortable sofas where you can just relax and enjoy your coffee while you wait for those teenagers to try the dozens of pieces of clothing they've put in the basket.
The store has customer toilet facilities and baby changing rooms.

This great store could easily become if their jewellery section was larger, and they had earrings to match the lovely necklaces. Handbags would be wonderful for more variety and styles. This is still my main choice of place to shop

It is conveniently located on the high street with John Lewis and Marks and Spencer as neighbours and outside "Oracle" a big shopping mall in Reading.

It's huge!!! I love the products. I mainly shop here for my young daughter as its cheap, beautiful clothes, good quality, and she grows so quickly or gets them stained with paint or mud, we go through a LOT of clothes! For a single mum, its great to not break the bank but be able to buy beautiful, good quality clothes for your children. I love primark!

T. S.OMG it was like being in clothes heaven,after only one level primark's all my life suddenly here comes Reading with its 3 level primark including cafe!. The selection of clothing compared to smaller Primarks is amazing I literally bounced from one aisle to the next picking out every other item with my poor daughter attempting to curb my thirst for clothing. Queues were not as bad as I was expecting in fact I think I was served quicker here than at my own local store where the queue goes round and round and out the door!.
Nicely laid out with all the sizes going from small to large, coordinated tidy and very inviting,cant wait to come back and explore it all again!! Didnt try the cafe this time round but will definitely make time for a cuppa the next time I pop in

O.Ok service!!!!.. I went to buy full kid's suit. I found random sizes of suit pieces ( i.e jacket, trouser and shirt of similar design). When I asked a member of staff how he can help me as i need to get same size for whole suit pieces. He simply answered me he can't help with anything the available sizes are the only available stock . I just wonder how suits get sold in primark.
