My go to clothing shop of choice for office shirts, work trousers, summer shorts, casual t-shirts, underwear, and everything in between! Items usually fit well, are comfortable and looks fashionable enough (in my non-fashionista eyes). Lowest prices around town, great for the thrift minded!

Great value clothes. I buy loads for my kids in primary as it is such good value that when they inevitably destroy their clothes it is not a big deal! Also got some great value t-shirts for myself. The staff are olways helpful and friendly, and if you avoid the busiest times then it is a nice place to shop.

I would not recommend unless you like bright colours and outdated clothes from the 80s to early 90s. They are still good for leggings, vest tops, bags, underwear and makeup.

Very busy at the tills, as usual! Not much on offer if you're a larger lady, apart from perhaps plasticky footwear, sunglasses, accessories and a few home items. Left without buying anything because the queues were so long. It is a Wednesday, but it's also the school holidays, I don't think they allowed for that with their staffing levels. Will try again in term time!

Primark is getting better with the style , fashion in the market . Choices are many for women , girls and children but sadly not much for men. Price for kids clothes are quite cheaper . Girls and women clothes are but pricey than they used to be . Always it’s worth to have a look around on other shops . Many staffs are there on the floor and they are very helpful . Tills got very long queue most of the time but it moves quite quick . Shop is very clean . Changing room is quite big in size . No need to wait too long to get a chance .

Lots on offer - good quality The only criticism is that they have loads of empty tills... They have a whole row of tills and only 4 of them open. Causing big queues. I never understand this as that's where the money comes in.. If you are not taking the money in, then there will be no jobs so, pointless filling shelves. Also no chairs - to rest for elderly or disabled customers...

It's actually a very good place for items we all need and use! Yes, they are cheap, but to be honest this is the only place I would buy shoew for work from and we all know we are actually happy we can find an affordable option, right! They will always have my size (I am a size 7-8 girl and let me tell you, finding flats for work is tough!) in a range of designs to choose from! Bags and clothing are also good! Loving the lounge ranges they do too! Staff are always busy and doing their best! Give them some more credit and please be a bit more patient with them, they don't always have enough people to handle the needs of all your beautiful faces at the same time! :)

I find primark fashion to be hit and miss. This season mustn't be to my taste as I wasn't really taken with any of it. The children's and men's sections however were much more appealing. Once again, I must moan that the women's shoes sizing and availability is ridiculous. I wear a size 8 in flats so for the millionth time I was disappointed to find the majority of canvas style shoes to range from sizes 3-6. Once again I bought my shoes from the mens section 🤷🏻‍♀️ Which also has an issue because the majority of shoes were 9+, I only found 1 pair of size 8 shoes in the style I wanted meanwhile there were 5 size 9's hanging on the rack. What's up with that? I wanted to purchase a pack of pants but unfortunately they had barely any L sized packs, millions of S and XL. I ended up buying a different pack which I didn't really want just because I needed some and they didn't have my size. I also found that many multipack products were missing components, such as a 3 piece Christmas set where the hat and tights had been removed from the hanger, and the 3 packs of period pants which I didn't realise were missing 2 pairs until I was nearly at the check out. I know it is inevitable that people will steal, especially in primark, but I really didn't feel like staff were proactively looking for this, nor do I feel that staff at the tills would be actively checking either. I would be extremely cross if I'd come all the way home to discover I'd paid £16 for a single pair of pants! I really loved the range of women's Pjs, if I had more money I would have bought more than I did today. I especially love that so many items are now made from recycled plastic, and yet are so soft and comfortable! My partner bought a new shirt and for a fiver it was practically a steal! Neutral review because the items we did buy were perfect but the store presentation and the range available weren't great.

I went into the store it was very nicely designed and very easy to navigate I went straight down the escalator to the mens section where I purchased some gym stuff. little tip the bottom floor usually has a long key so I recommend going upstairs when your ready to purchase

A big store over 3 levels. The store is normally well stocked and clean. Staff are approachable and friendly. The only downside is, the queues can be long even though they have lots of tills and their men tee-shirt and hoodie selection can either be really good or really bad. I've also noticed that L & XL are too close and don;t really cater for tall people.

Super busy. Staff indoors weren't too helpful when my toddler (3) stated he needed a wee and husband asked 1. If they had a toilet he could use being newly potty trained and 2. if he had to queue to come back in as I was still in there with our other child. But staff member on the door was very helpful and just told him to walk straight back in when they came back.

I went into Primark in Southampton recently and i was very impressed with how clean and tidy it was; hence wanting to share my opinion today. It was a Saturday afternoon and we had been in other clothes shops that day which were nowhere near as clean and tidy so this store really stood out as having made a real effort. In fact, at the time we were in store, someone was sweeping the floor and it seemed like they had worked hard to keep it so clean. Well done to all the staff for maintaining good standards.

I enjoy a visit to this primark it is quite large (although not large enough to get all the Disney stock straight away) with a good sized selection in each department. The departments it has are - on the middle floor is women's clothes, on the lower floor is children's, mens and home items and on the upper floor is womens shoes, womens underwear, womens bed clothes, make-up, luggage and jewelery. The store is usual clean and tidy with staff easy to find. The staff are friendly, helpful and generally have a good stock knowledge. Currently has a great selection of stranger things branded clothing in the men's department.

My first vist in primark was with one of friend. I usually buy stuffs from branded stores like Nike, Adidas, Superdry etc but once i went their it was very hard to resist myself from not entering. The quality of every product was very good at a very reasonable price. Usually their products are made in bangladesh and turkey but they really dont compromise with the quality of product. Amazing collection and value for money. You almost get everything for men, women and kids. I have a photo which i have clicked outside Primark (Southampton) but the jacket which i am wearing in the photo is brought at the same time. I cant wait to go to my room and click a picture of it and send it to my friend.

When your being served the idea is to offer more than one bag as we bought £70 worth of clothes. The clothes and the hangers were just shoved in. By the time we walked out the bag had split. The customer service assistant was average at best could of at least smiled. The screen protector could of bin higher up to pass our goods through.

Brilliant primarni, lots of great stuff on 3 levels. Bottom level is home stuff and mens wear, plus children's. Middle level (Street) is womens including the denim bar and all ladies wear. Top level is underwear, accessories, shoes and makeup. The changing rooms are at the back of the store middle level. Staff are helpful and the store is clean and tidy. Defo recommend our Primark is awesome.

Although they have social distancing in place, they do not ask you to sanitise hands at the entry, also staff is too busy talking to their colleagues instead of counting how many people are going in and out of the shop. However, the staff inside is working their best to try and restock and serve customers.

I live in the USA and only return home a couple of times a year. I always visit Primark in Southampton and treat myself to a few new items. I was glad to see that the prices had increased a little, this means the workers that put the clothes together are earning a bit more money. I think in the early days it was not so good for the workers. So I’m happy to pay a little more for my new clothes. The price is still excellent and the goods are great value for money. I still have jeans that I bought 10 years ago and they still wash up beautifully. I love it because I am small and everything fits me well, that means sizing is good. I hear there is a Primark opening in New York, I hope this is the beginning of Primark USA. 👍🏻

Great store great polite staff apart from a supervisor on the top floor who I believe is called Sue. She has been so rude to me I the past and yesterday saw and heard her being rude again to a couple of young ladies and give a filthy look to another. I have a love-hate relationship going on with this place. I love it, but I hate just how much I love it. Really nice looking, decent quality clothes at affordable prices, no wonder it's swarming with people all the time. If you take a demographic of its customers, you'll notice mostly Eastern Europeans, and that says a lot. These are people who are used to choosing great quality AND low prices over fancy brands, and Primark does that exceptionally. I'll often go and buy tons of stuff, expecting to be bankrupt at the till, only to find that I could have easily kept going. The fact that shops like Zara, Hugo Boss and others like them have not been completed replaced by Primarks is just a testament of humanity's vanity and morbid consumerist attitude.

OK so firstly let's talk about how they've changed the sizing which just makes everything seem absolutely confusing. Secondly why is the girls section massive compared to the boys? Where has the home section gone? It's tiny now 😔 and I understand that prices have to go up but the quality of the clothing hasn't improved. Also the bags are absolutely rubbish. One bit of rain and you're carrying your shopping home in your arms. Oh and they've got loads of tills but never enough staff to fill them.

It gets very busy and the queues can be ridiculously long. The clothes aren't the best quality, and are often ugly. The staff are either really helpful and friendly, or really sullen with no in between. It's packed with people usually, and it can be hard to.find what you want because people leave things they don't want strewn all over the place for the staff to clean up.

Always love going to Primark the cloths seem to be good quality as they always seem to last a long time and are very reasonably priced. There is always security on duty and always seems busy. I only marked it 4* due to the standards in store but it's due to people not putting stuff back in the right place. Some of the staff members on till are very friendly and some will maybe talk to you but then maybe not.

Primark is well known for its low price yet good quality stuff. This store is a huge one where you can easily get lost inside ! Kids wear is what grabbed my attention. It had wide range of all types of kids clothing. Go there or miss the opportunity of all year long discounts and offers.

Just £3 a month could give a family water for a week. But if you save that £3 by the end of the year you'll have £36 that you can use to buy a whole new outfit or more. I'm not saying you should do this. I'm just highlighting how cheap it is. And the stuff are quite smart looking too. The only downside is everyone shops there. So you will always pass lots of people with the same outfit as you. Great value for money, shorts as low as £12 (Not bad quality either, their clothes have lasted me years and are still in good condition). If you want fancy clothes with a wide range of options then Primark may not be for you. Pretty big for a clothing store but small for a Primark. The men's selection is tiny, they have a small selection for shoes. Their stocked clothes are limited compared to other stores. Average prices. Clean. There's always tons of staff on the floor clearing up. They have a large changing room. It's always cramped thanks to the stores size. Tiny makeup and sock selection. Expensive parking unless you took a bus. I rarely go but three or four times a year, it's not worth the quality for the money.

This is still a popular place to shop but nowhere near as good as it used to be. Prices have been creeping up for some while so its worth checking the competition because Primark are no longer that competitive as a brand. They seem to be focusing too much on fads (Harry Potter, other trends) and less on providing a wide range in every department. We went for ladies tops.. small choice, and little girls shoes - not much of a range and no cheaper than competitors. Queues at checkouts are rather off-putting as they seem to go for miles, but they actually move quite quickly. Staff are great. Friendly and willing to help.

As with all Primarks, it is a fiasco! Complete mayhem especially around Christmas time! There are fights breaking out between women over £15 jackets, bags been tugged at by two teams of families in a frenzied tug-of-war and men looking lost and trying to find their children!!! Harry Potter, Star Wars and other big name merchandise is splattered on 99% of the products! Some good, some bad. Overall the shop is good, queues are long but quick and you lose a little bit of weight from all the sweating and carrying of all that cheap stuff you just bought!

Business is booming for Southampton Primark. Three floors building that is both tall and wide. The clothings are endless and the store is crowded. Lines are long despite a large work force on the tills. The mess is mediocre as the customers cause the mess groups of employees are seen clearing the clothing back in order. The price is risen, but so has the whole Primark company along with their interior designs. Avoid during peak times.

It is what it is, discounted fashion. Reduced jewellry offer this time and despite being in a heat wave staff were putting out winter clothes. Will never understand British fashion seasons.
