Good reservations and customer service. We got some great bargains today with a super lightweight but sturdy firepit and 2 super camping chairs. Very happy with our purchases and the staff were all lovely and very helpful.

Bought a bike earlier in the year from GO Outdoors Warrington which has had a great deal of (muddy) use over the spring, summer and autumn this year. The rear hub needed a bit of TLC after this and Matt on cycling was superb with this today. Super knowledgeable and even walked through some of the disassembly. Very reasonable repair cost too. Can't recommend highly enough 👌

Really big GO Outdoors, quite pleased to have such a large one available to me locally. Had only intended on going in for some new boots. However, I've just saved this on my G-Maps so I can come back again when I next need something. I noticed they have a large stock on some Vango Banshee 2 (and 3) man tents. These went out of stock and we're impossible to get your hands on during covid. It's always worth getting a price match on your item and the membership. The in-store price for a pair of Merrell Moab 2 gtx mid boots, size 8 in pecan was £125.00. I price matched with a UK based company. Was asked at the till for the price match, was told to put it in my basket and go to checkout to confirmed it was in stock. Quite hassle free really. But, got the price down to ~£85 with the cost of another discount card included. Note: GO Outdoors will price match, and knock another 10% off your price match (in my case £8.90). Also, paid with American express (AMEX) for those wondering if they accept this form of payment.

I was totally impressed with the service I received today at Go Outdoors Warrington (Cycle Department) - The knowledge Matt Connolly has is top level and I learnt more in 15mins than I have done in the last year or so with Grand Canyon 9 MTB. Matt is now my go-to for all future bike related work.

The only major gripe I have with this place is the pricing. They charge extortionate amounts for everything from camping folks to fully kitted out bikes unless you have the "Discount Card" that simply lowers the price to the same as everywhere else. Why would I jump though hoops and give out my personal info to sign up for one when I can just go somewhere else and get it for equal or cheaper price? Makes no sense.

However top rated names in clothing will cost you a bony penny, so browse wisely whilst some items are in the January sale check that the quality on the sale items are up to your required standard other top brands dud not seem to be discounted in the sale. Spend wisely.

Went to enquire about repairing a tent pole which was broken. Staff very helpful and in fact repaired the pole with a spare pole they had in their workshop. When I asked for the bill they told me it was free but if I wanted to make a donation it would be welcome. I subsequently did this at check out. We visit this store regularly and always find the staff helpful informed and pleasant. Great service

Dont normally review shops but went for a tent and they had about 20 set up so you could properly see what they looked like which was very helpful!

I reserved a new bike and went to collect from Warrington store. I haven't cycled for a few years. Matt from the bicycle desk attended to me. His customer service was amazing and far more helpful than I ever could have expected. Not only did he fit all the extra parts I purchased, he gave me plenty of useful advice. I now have the confidence to start riding again.

Asked 2 staff for help with replacement tent poles, they pointed to the 2 wall where they were then carried on with their conversation!! Needless to say when I needed further help I went and found somebody else who was very helpful indeed. When I saw the first 2 staff members again I expressed my thanks for being very unhelpful!! When I went to pay for my items one of the unhelpful staff had to serve me it was obvious he was as uncomfortable as i was not impressed!!

Have attended today 20/05/15 with a problem on a Nimbus 8 Airgo tent. I purchased it in Jan and have only just put it up. The housing cup for the door peak rod was missing on one side. The staff were very helpful and immediately replaced the tent. One always expects problems with returning items but this was a stellar experience and gives me great confidence in the Go Outdoors team at Warrington. Customer satisfaction is what they have from me.

Go Outdoors has a huge range of products. The Warrington store is massive and a plus side to being a member is that they price match and then give you 10% off (the matched price). The staff know what they're talking about and are very helpful....if you don't know what you want etc.

I would like to say how very helpful .polite and very caring this young man is .his name is jack and he works on the footwear department .he really spent time finding out exactly what I needed the new foot wear for and gave me lots of choices .he even advised me on clothing as well .I was made to feel really looked after and I have returned to the store time and time again because I know I will be made to feel as if somebody really cares .it is so hard to find good staff who have this gift so well done to jack and hope to see you soon ffor more out door goods .may I add also I have been in the retail business for many years and know how hard and frustrating it can be at times but I do believe I have had fabulous customer care and carnt thank you enough .

If you have any interest in outdoor pursuits, whatever that may be, Go Outdoors is one of those shops where you can buy equipment at reasonable prices, especially if you use the store's reduction card. But it is also a shop where you can take yourself away from it all. Looking at all the camping gear, fishing gear, outdoor clothes, cycling and beyond. For me it definitely beats the run of the mill shopping experience.
