Had the most amazing experience with the lady with orange hair. My mum was very self conscious at first and by the end she had the door open and felt amazing. Chevaugne was super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable when I visited today. Usually, I find it tricky to find one bra that fits nicely but she helped me find several in a range of styles. Incredible experience every time I go to Leia. I’m an awkward size and I find shopping for underwear quite traumatic, but I always feel safe and celebrated at Leia. AMAZING SERVICE. Thank you Chevaugne! I feel like I’ve been to bra school (in a lovely way!). Brilliant fitting service, wonderful customer service and fabulous bras! Chevaugne made me feel so comfortable and at ease. She was so honest and open about what was right and what wasn’t. She was so knowledgeable about the fit and style of bras and what would work for my body shape. Chevaugne was so welcoming and accommodating and made me feel like she had all the time in the world for me. I came into Leia today (and may I add, have sworn by this store for around 6 years now) and was immediately greeted by the lovely Cynthia. What a woman. She went so incredibly out of her way to help me. First I was measured and then she choose many different bras for me to try, ensured that each one I tried fit perfectly and also gave me so many tips that have helped massively! I visited the store last Saturday whilst visiting York for the food festival. I am a runner and had spent months looking for a sports bra in my size. I wandered in on the off chance. Cynthia took on the challenge and with a determined look headed up to the stock room. I tried several (yes, they had several!) bras and eventually found one that fit. Cynthia then rooted round in the back of the stock room with muffled shouts of ‘I’m sure we have more of those’. I bought all four. I have now been for a run (interval session - really testing the bra) and it is brilliant. I cannot thank you enough Cynthia - you and your colleagues were so lovely. I had a lovely experience at Leia on a day out holiday shopping in York in January . I was dreading looking for swimwear after wasting time trying to buy online. The ladies at Leia understood my needs and sorted me out with the best fitting swimwear I have ever owned, I was fitted for bikinis, tankinis and a full piece, I left the shop with everything I needed and a smile on my face as there was a sale on too. Whilst shopping in York about 4 to 5 years ago with my then partner who was looking for some underwear for the larger busted woman we came across your shop on entry the staff where very friendly and helpful and my partner left very happy. Over the years we always call in the shop to make purchases and have got to know Cynthia and Claire and Chevaugne. The staff are a credit to your company. Your staff appear to have a good knowledge of your products and styles which is shown when customers are coming looking for something for special occasions like weddings or evening events and know what products to recommend to the customer. I've been coming here for about 4 years now from West Cumbria. The staff are very friendly and helpful Cynthia Claire and Chevaugne are a credit to the company nothing is a problem to them. Over the last 4 years I've had most of my visits to the shop looked over by Cynthia or Claire i was looking for underwear for my wedding last year and travelled down from Cumbria to see the 2 ladies who helped me sort out my underwear which they did very professionally and I left more than satisfied with what they had help me select.it shows how good the quality of your product is and how professional your staff are when I am prepared to travel from west Cumbria to York and back the same day just to buy your products. The only place I'll buy a bra from! They have a great range of all types of underwear - trying to find something pretty in the larger sizes can often be difficult but these guys always have a great selection and all the sizes. The swimwear is fabulous too! The staff are so helpful and knowledge and go out of there way to find you something that fits perfectly and makes you feel amazing too!!

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. I love the displays of curvy mannequins and pictures - I often see bras on thinner models on the internet but can never visualise them on me, so their displays have helped, and actively played a part in my last purchase. Also, covid procedures are being followed and they are so careful... I've been fitted twice now during the pandemic and never felt unsafe or at risk.

I DON’T BUY LINGERIE ANYWHERE ELSE! I used to live in York a few years ago and even though I now live over an hour away it’s the only place I’ll go. They have a huge range of styles both online and in store but the thing that sells them the most is the service you get whenever you shop. The staff are so lovely and genuine and make you feel at complete ease getting down to your underwear in front of a complete stranger. Lingerie shopping can be daunting for lots of women, but these girls make it an easy and enjoyable experience. I always leave feeling better about myself with a big smile on my face! What a great company!
