Lovely cafe with great coffee and fantastic interior design. It was a bit chilly to be comfortable, but that may have been because we came in first thing in the morning. Although, we were in the cafe for a while and felt colder as the day went on. A lovely cafe, great job!

Never have a bad experience here. Food is always incredible and the menu changes with the seasons, home of the best cinnamon buns in Aberdeen (trust me, I’ve tried most of them), and there’s a great selection of drinks all in a friendly, welcoming cafe style setting.

Nice brunch (light servings). Finally a decent coffee in Aberdeen! Cakes were enormous - very fair for the price. One of the poached eggs was a little bit overdone, and the (spicy) tomato hollandaise overpowered the taste of the eggs, but otherwise everything was lovely.

Discovered Figment just before lockdown, so until today have only had the odd take away coffee (which is really good). Today however we decided to sit in and have some lunch... We were lucky because we pretty much got the last table. Ordered at the counter and drinks came swiftly, the food took a little longer but still in good time. The food was lovely! We all had something different and I can't fault any of it... There's always the danger when you do something a little different that you can miss the mark... Figment definitely didn't miss the mark! Can't wait to go back.

My life changed when I tried your coffee. It's an amazing experience to taste real coffee. I love popping in before going hiking to charge my battery. If you are keen on coffee you must come to this wonderful place. Please, we need one in the city centre. Furthermore, really tasty veggie options. Superb.

Absolutely delicious! First time here and won't be the last. Bacon was 😀 scrambled eggs were 😀 hash browns were 😀. Great setup, nice and open. The hot chocolate was silky smooth 😋. Oh and the scones...perfect size...big. 🥰 friend enjoyed the coffee. Highly recommend.

Found via the Independent Coffee Guide and glad I did. Very good & balanced house espresso. Worth a visit alone for it. Also had brunch which was very tasty. Went for the duck confit hash which was flavourful and a good serving. Will be back without a doubt. I hear the Friday evenings are great for cocktails!

I really loved coming to this cafe and its so open and bright. I'm into coffee so picked up a bag of whole bean coffee, would be good if you advertised more that you roast in house because I didn't realise before visiting! The only thing I didn't like about my experience was the welcome in terms of someone ordering me to look at a menu and paying before you're seated at a table. It wasn't a welcoming and friendly experience but otherwise the pour over was nice and the cinnamon bun was delicious.

Spacious, clean, friendly with an original breakfast/ brunch menu (I visited in the morning). Had the Figment Benedict with a tomato hollandaise,. Original, flavour packed warmly spicy and carefully prepared ( skinned tomato for example). Plenty of choice on the menu and a steady trade of sit in and takeaway orders.

As a coffee lover, I will say this is the best coffee in Aberdeen. I am a regular. They roast their own beans and have excellent knowledge. Some incredible late art today. Brunch is delicious too. Would not recommend if you’re looking for a cheap bacon roll but if you’re looking for a treat and quality, this is the place. One of the staff could use some training to be more friendly. Otherwise excellent.

Went to Figment for the first time today for coffee and cake with some friends. The coffee (black americano) I had was nice and I very much enjoyed the vegan bounty cake. There was a pleasantly unusual selection of cakes including butternut squash and orange and another involving parsnips. The scones looked tempting and two of my friends reported positively on the brownie. The cafe itself has a fresh and contemporary feel. All in all very well done to Figment.

Figment is my favorite café in Aberdeen. Whenever I'm up visiting family, I always try to stop there for a coffee. They always have an interesting single origin for the coffee nerds and their house blend is great too. They also have a fantastic selection of food, both sweet and savoury, and their staff are always super friendly and welcoming.

Delicious coffee, brilliant brunch options and tasty homemade cakes. The staff are friendly and there is about 3 tables suitable to bring dogs in, but also this area is completely separate from the rest of the seating. Great to see they have expanded with outdoor seating. Figment is one of my favourite cafes in Aberdeen!

Terrific for all dietary requirements! Amazing coffee and awesome food. Nothing ever seems too much trouble and staff always offer a warm welcome. Very well priced and usually no wait for a table but this does depend on party size and time of day. Parking is the only thing I struggle with bit this is NOT any fault of the establishment, can usually find spaces on the surroundings streets.

I've been to Figment a lot now and also ordered their beans online. Their coffees in house are amazing and their beans are delicious. Massive shout out to the barista (will ask his name next time) as he pulls an amazing shot but also designs amazing latte art (last one was a swan).

A beautiful modern space with excellent speciality coffee. The espresso was light and sweet, the flat white very well made too. There's lots of seating and dogs are welcome. There's a fair bit of cold food on offer such as sandwiches and pastries. It wasn't particularly clear that it was table service when we entered which was a tad awkward, this could perhaps be better signed.

Went for brunch today - food and coffee were great but sad to say that the front of house staff (in particular the lady at the counter) was quite rude - basically dropped our food on the table and didn't bother to greet us when we came to the counter (but greeted everyone else super cheerfully). Didn't see her act that way with the other customers though, just wondering why it had to happen with us

Absolutely divine, dog friendly cafe and restaurant. The atmosphere and staff are lovely and the coffee is to die for. They even do cortados like on the continent! 😁 As well, super gluten free and vegan friendly and great beers at the ready. Best bit: no awkward opening hours for those of us who want a cappuccino after 5pm! Can even stay for dinner until 10pm! Love it!

Visited for Sunday brunch. Really nice selection of food however breakfast menu was limited to 11am and I was not allowed to order my 1st choice. The smoked salmon sandwich was delicious, however and my husband said his coffee was the best he had had in years.We also had a slice of Victoria sponge (all baking homemade) and this was also very good. Absolutely love this place. First and foremost, the coffee is absolutely superb. Roasted on site and served by baristas who really know what they’re doing, and care about the quality of what they produce. Secondly, the food is excellent and the menu, whether breakfast, lunch or brunch is always tasty, nicely presented and a bit different which makes a lovely change from the ‘generic cafe menu’’. And lastly, the cafe always has a calm and welcoming feel. The staff are friendly but not over bearing, always happy to chat which I’d recommend. Neil the owner, loves his coffee and will happily take you through everything they do there, from sourcing to roasting and the story of how Figment came to be. Overall I cannot recommend Figment enough, Aberdeen finally has a cafe worth visiting on a regular basis!

Enjoyed my first visit to Figment today & was very impressed with the decor, prompt warm service, & fantastic smell of real coffee that greats you as soon as you enter & it tasted as good as it smelt. Crunchy toast with banana & maple syrup topping complimented the coffee well. Had to have a second coffee just to confirm ! Had the pleasure of meeting Neil the owner & took the opportunity to wish him every success. Figment is a fantastic & much needed addition to the area. I will definitely be making this my regular destination. Looking forward to sampling their lunchtime & dinner menus.

Found cafe noisy. Dog friendly but two yappy dogs in with their owner came on and one upset toddler made for a very noisy cafe. Staff overly attentiv, kept tidying up our table made us feel we were not supposed to linger. my friends tea was on the tepid side. On a more positive note the scones and mini empire biscuits were lovely.

It was really over cooked to the point it was nearly/actually burnt. My girlfriends food was much better. I got anslice of their strawberry cake after and was disappointed again. It was stodgy and heavy. I'd give it another chance though because it's all home made and local. I'd like to think thus was just an off day
