Came here for lunch. I had the mixed grill and Mum had the chicken kebab. The portions were big but comfortable. Also had a glass of wine. You have to get a table first then order at the counter. We sat upstairs. Staff very friendly and service was quite quick. They also do all day breakfasts. Would recommend.

Popped in here 3 times here during the week visit. Decent brekkie (on a plate!), good carvery dinner on Sunday, and some coffee and cakes. All very decent, perfectly hit the spot and good service.

Came in at opening for breakfast. Ordered the Mega Breakfast plate and a milky coffee. Food arrived quickly and was piping hot. Coffee was delivered to my table quickly. Very filling portions. Friendly service to boot.

Whilst on holiday in Aberystwyth and walking round town there are quite a few different types of eateries, making it difficult decision of where to eat for lunch? Home Café seamed very clean from the outside and was popular, fortunately, it was not too popular as to queue for a place. On entering I was immediately greeted with friendly staff making it a pleasant start. Having ordered some food and drinks. It wasn’t very long before I was served my meal courteously. I thoroughly enjoyed the tasty fish and chips. I was then allowed to chill for a while in a nice environment. On returning to the town a couple of days later I had already made my mind up that I would return to Home Café to try some of their other food. I was not disappointed.

Very friendly staff, food excellent and the prices are the cheapest in Aberystwyth. Lots of indoor seating (including upstairs). Outdoor seating if you want to watch the world go by.

Absolutely amazing cafe. Staff were so polite and helpful. The food was delicious and arrived quickly, and the latte was perfect. Such a good atmosphere and nice little touches from the staff (ie little chocolates with the drinks etc.) Will definitely be comimg here again when I next pass through. 10/10 would recommend

Whilst visiting the UK from Germany for the first time in 3 years I've notice the remarkable increase in prices. This place really took advantage of that and were charging well over the odds. Even to the point of serving smaller than average portions of cake(s). Staff were polite (at those prices they really ought to be). A friendly Jack Russel was constantly nipping about the place without a care in the world, which warmed my heart.

What a bright clean place to eat, lovely furnishings and good food, we called in for breakfast it was professionally presented and delicious too, the only reason we knocked a star off (it would of only been half star knocked off if l could) is we feel as the food could of been a little warmer maybe heat plates up first. Will definitely call in again.

First table we chose had not been cleaned. Ordered a full breakfast not impressed, it was served in a cast iron pan on a burnt board which looked awful. Toast was on the bottom with everything else piled on top which made it hard on the bottom and soggy on the top. Please serve on a hot plate with toast on the side then i would give 5 stars👍

Recently tried the breakfast here. Didnt have to wait too long for it to arrive. Breakfast is served in an old iron frying pan (love that) with a separate pot of baked beans, sausage not bad, as I can't bear cheap tasteless sausages . A little bit pricey I would say but enjoyable. Cappuccino good & you get a small pot of jelly beans on the side, a novel bonus!

My partner and I stumbled upon this place on a day out to Aberystwyth, from the outside it looked inviting and we wanted something a little different from the usual pub grub. We settled on having a light lunch, a jacket potatoe for me and a baguette for her, needless to say the attention to detail and the presentation of the food was top notch, it tasted amazing too. I remember there only being two staff members, a girl and boy around college age, the customer service was a cut above. Im not usually one to tip but I really felt a obliged after such a satisfactory meal.

This is a delightful place. The menu is varied and caters for all appetites and palates. The staff are so lovely and helpful. The food was cooked perfectly and is good value for money. Great food, hot and tasty! Had the half pounder burger and it was the best beef burger I've had in ages! Chips were freshly cooked and very hot 🔥 Toilets are a bit out of date but clean and usable. Would definitely recommend!

We stumbled upon home cafe as we saw someone going in with their dog, we followed with our dog and sat upstairs. The staff were really friendly, and to say its dog friendly the place is spotless, we ordered our food, a mixed grill and lamb chops plus 2 coffees, we were really surprised how quickly the food arrived and was very good. We are looking forward to going there again.

I've enjoyed 2 breakfasts here this week and haven't been disappointed. Food was lovely, cooked to order, good quality. I had the full vegetarian breakfast, vegetable sausages,hash brown, beans, mushrooms and eggs with fried bread. The coffee was good too, my favourite Lavazza, and they had soy milk for those who are either lactose intolerant or vegan. I'm vegan and lactose intolerant, so gave my dog the eggs and fried bread, the owner is lovely and happy to make sure you are a satisfied customer

Over priced for what you get. General cleanliness was a let down too. Cups of tea with fuzz/dust on the rim and inside the cups. Had rhubarb crumble which was thrown onto the plate school canteen style, with ladle swipe across the edge of the plate 'n' all. Decor is modern but everything else beyond that decidedly old fashioned/poor. Speaking of old fashioned, the toilet is better labeled as an outhouse. Quaint or gross? Well that's up to your taste. Certainly wasn't clean though. Staff member was decently friendly. 3 Stars because it was average, just that.

It's.. meh. To me a bit like canteen food but at chippy prices, smallish portions. Fish and chips, well, more like more like a bird's eye cod fillet. Jacket potato + beans was simple enough, nothing special. Can't fault service, was fast.

This place is always cold and the portions are small. The food is OK but the presentation is good and that its what they are basing their pricing on. Little baskets for chips and serving on slates doesn't make up for low quality ingredients.

Myself and my friend enjoyed our Sunday carvery there we had beef it's was very spicy that was OK as we like spicy food but there was no signs saying it was spicy and some old people didn't like it as we did think it was just a normal Sunday roast as some of my family would of sent it back as they don't like spice

I did not believe what my eyes were seeing simply when I entered the restaurant my first thought was ' oh should check the prices in the menu before ordering , looks too posh for a small town place'. I actually ended up having more than one meal not just I can afford it but because I just loved it there after spending a pleasant afternoon there. One of the places one should visit at least once if in Aber !!!! Wll not regret the experience !!!! :)

Great location and view,food was great the first time we went and it was really quiet so we went as a family second time and it was really busy.One waitress was not enough and it showed,forgot my wife's starter but soon bought another,tiny meat portion on some dishes and plenty on others and not all the desserts available and no cream.Music start stopping constantly,something black in the rice and when I asked for another dish was told that this was quite normal.This place has great potential but the management need to make sure there are more staff and simple things like making sure there is cream in the kitchen.
