Food was so delicious, The customer service was a top notch and very quick service. It gets busier when the sun gets out. They have well managed team and properly organised to handle the pressure. You will get a blipper which will vibrate when food is ready. Very mesmerising seafront view while you enjoy the morning coffee or evening tea. Would definitely recommend and visit when we visit wales again. Very reasonable prices and good quality food . Keep it up guys .

PD's had friendly staff, who created a quick service on a surprisingly busy Friday lunch. Their atmosphere was fun and chill which was perfect for the beginning of our holiday. They had reasonable prices which seems super low after eating their cod and chips. It was the best cod and chips I've had away from Devon! An even batter with a fluffy interior and a little crunch on the outside. They serve wines and beer (after mid day), which you can only drink on their property. The rest of their options are available for takeaway. They don't have toilets, but there are a few on the coastline. The diner is a hut, so you will be eating outside watching the sea.

It's a large kiosk on Aberystwyth seafront, now called "Prom Diner", with exclusively outdoor seating. Great views of the sea & pier. Food is absolutely fine for a kiosk, albeit a tiny bit expensive. Huge, industrial sized umbrellas offer decent cover from rain, except for really heavy rain which comes in horizontally! Great place to walk the dog & grab some chips & coffee in the winter. Also superb spot to watch the famous Starling murmuration, between mid to late November & early March, when up to 30,000 Starlings gather at sunset, darken they sky with their numbers, & dive under the pier, where they cwtch up during the night. An absolutely amazing sight, worth a visit to Aberystwyth just to see it! Plenty of water bowls out for dogs, dedicated recycling bins, plenty of seating available. Will 100% visit again next time I'm walking the dogs on the beach.

Great location on the seafront a stones throw from the pier. Fish and Chips were great and very reasonable. Self service here with food ordered at the counter and number called when ready. Dirty dishes collected by staff. Drinks prices are also very reasonable considering the location. Will definitely visit again.There is a parking area for motorbikes right alongside PD's .

We were drawn in because of the sauces and mayonnaise in bottles on each table...none of those horrid little sachets! Their chips were delicious, with generous portions. I had asked for two glasses of water, and was offered slices of orange or lemon which was a wonderful surprise. What excellent service. They also have a great recycling set up for when you've finished. All this AND the sight and sound of the sea. We can't wait to go back.

We had a lovely lunch here , nice position on the front in Aberystwyth. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our tuna baguette and tuna toastie with chips, it was fresh and tasty with lovely bread. We also enjoyed a glass of wine and beer in the sunshine. It was very busy here and the chef was very busy but still turned out nice food and I’m very fussy! Definitely recommend. We will return 😀

Busy as always and no wonder 😃 Every time we are here, we can enjoy tasty food, and milkshakes! Their burgers and cod with chips are great 😊 During the season there are plenty of spaces to sit down and relax while enjoying the sea view. Parking nearby available for cars and motorcycles. The only thing I wish you could change is the coffee - the current one isn't the best.

Burger is awesome, juicy, meaty, flavourful. Quality of bread is good. Good staff. Self service. Tables are spread out so you maintain safe distance woth other patrons. Portion size is good. Hot dog was good too. Pet friendly. Beware of table tops, they may have coffee or ketchup spilt over but nothing too bad.

For decades now, PD's diner is a food destination of choice for bikers and tourists visiting Aberystwyth thanks to its choice of local produce (and availability of ice cream in many flavours 😁) Ample motorcycle 🏍️ parking at the back is one of the useful developments of recent years despite bikers always favouring the front of the diner. In case anyone ends up with one juice too many in their belly, the public (clean) toilets are a short walk away just past the pier.

Visited PD's Diner for lunch today and was extremely impressed. They had a varied and solid menu for both food and drinks, the staff were helpful and seemed happy in their roles, and importantly today with the heat and a 2 year old in tow most of their seating was undercover. I had the 1/2 burger with chips which I found to be delicious, whilst the other half and our son shared the cheese and onion pasty and chips, which went down well also.

Stopped by here on our day trip to Aberystwyth and so glad we did. I had the fish, chips with curry sauce and my husband had cheese and onion pasty, chips and curry. It was lovely. I wish the portions were bigger. Really enjoyed it and definitely recommend.

Great place to sit on the sea front and enjoy a meal or a drink. They serve all sorts of food, drinks and cake/pastries - wide range considering it's only a small place. The seagulls had their eye on my husband's chips, but I gave them the eye, so they stayed away ;-)

Great seafront Cafe, friendly helpful staff, I really liked the coffee there. Word of warning though, beware of the seagulls, the have an eye on your food. Be considerate and let the waiting staff know you are leaving or take your uneaten food to the bin. If not the gulls swoop in and cause distress

Everything cooked fresh to order and great friendly service. This father and son team really know what they are doing and although it's very relaxed there are no corners cut. The Cod and Chips are exceptional value based on the fish alone; super fresh white flakey cod in tasty batter straight out the fryer. When the weather is nice it's the best place to sit outside in Aber.

PD's is synonymous with Aberystwyth Promenade. Good standard of hygiene, a large seating area and am excellent menu. Brilliant coffees, good chilled beer (and Peroni!), and a bottle of pro if you're feeling posh. The menu is worth a look, with quite a nice cod and chips with mushy peas. All within thirty yards of the sea. Bikers from all over the place come here on a Saturday (there's an area for the awesome machines). These aren't the rowdy guys, but the serious guys who will talk to the passers by about their bikes. Never a noisy place, great for kids, all with a superb vista of the bay.
