Good sweet treats in a pleasant location on the sea front. A little bit out of the way so you need to go slightly out of town to find them. The member of staff serving was pleasant and good humoured. Prices are slightly high, but similar to coffee shops.

We love our coffee at "Alanas", cakes are always delicious, today we tried the fries and they are good as well. The only problem is the waiting time for the drinks. I don't know why the team didn't manage to sort this out after so many months of working. I pay for my stuff, the cakes are handed immediately but than I have to go and wait by sitting area for my drinks. To be honest sometimes it takes ages. Today I was given my fries and waited almost 10min for my 2 americano coffees. There was a few people waiting in the line and few customers already "served" and waiting for their orders to be completed. I just don't get it why only 2 of the girls were "working", preparing drinks and food. There was another employee on duty, why not come and help at "the front" to run it quicker and more smoothly at busier times. This is not "one off". We've been drinking coffee there regularly since they open last year. We also been lucky enough to visit the new Llandudno spot already and the situation was very similar. Cakes great as always and handed by the till but than coffee collection at the other end of the building and waiting for coffee. I know they are still learning but something needs to be done. Waiting time is just "ridiculous" but coffee and cakes are reallllllly good! WILL CHANGE TO 5 ⭐ WHEN WAITING TIME IMPROVES ♥ ☕ Update, 10/02/2022: coffee served much faster these days! good job team Aberystwyth !!

I ordered the Limited Edition: Christmas Specials box and the bakes tasted great. The only thing that would've been better is if there was less plastic wrapping. I don't think each brownie/cake needed a plastic wrapper. Also I ordered a mystery box and I loved the range of items but it would be great if the items were labelled, so I can order individually next time

Had a lovely coffee here overlooking the marina. They even had a dog biscuit for a visiting dog. No loos, but some a short walk away. Fresh air was just what i needed. Very pleasent for idling some time.

I've been wanting to come here for so long but I live in Leeds so had to make a holiday out of it lol. My daughter got cheesy chips and said it was amazing, they looked very good too. I got a smores freak shake and my son got a biscoff freak shake these was both very good. I also had a latte which I really enjoyed. It's in a good location next to the marina and the sea. The staff are very friendly here and gave us some tips on where to see the dolphins which was very nice of them. Great experience can't wait to go back before we go home.

Very very average. I tried their 'freakshake' and brownies. The milkshake was average at best (literally just blended icecream with oreos and an oreo on top...). Brownies tasted nice but were quite small and far from 'rich'.

Hot chocolate was delicious and nice that it was on the sea front. But the cakes were very dry, clearly a few days old and not fresh at all. A shame as I was looking forward to visiting and cakes were very disappointing

Great place worth the visit. Staff were friendly, which always helps make it worth staying. Had a muscovado latte which was as deep and rich as it sounds but not in any way sickly. Also a big box of their parmesan and truffle fries. The chips were big crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. They were also tossed in the topping rather than a thin layer on top, which all to quickly goes. My girlfriend had a biscof caramel dome which was worth the calories. Its the sought of place that makes you glad you came and you know you'll be back. Hmmmm..... its been 2 hrs may be I've earned a cake.

At first I felt wary about the high prices at this little business near the beach, but decided to take a chance. Couldn't have been more wrong ..... the s'mores sundae was amazing, my grandson loved it. Cheesey fries and lattes also very good. Girls polite and efficient. Great outdoor seating with view of the bay on one side and the Marina on the other side. Sat in the sun watching for dolphins. Bliss.

I just ate the Veggie Beef Reuben, and it is honestly the best sandwich I have ever eaten. I was full after just half and I'm genuinely excited that I get to eat the other half later. (Also approve of the planet friendly packaging.)

This little gem is worth a visit. Went on a cold wet November, warmed up with their "Hot Loaded" fries. The way they make chips is completely different to anything I have tried before. If you are looking for something other than the normal seafront fish and chips head here. Don't forget to check the window for their desert's which are massive.

Perfect location on the sea front. Plenty of parking. Was disappointed at the overall look of the shop, seemed a little "run down". Staff were great, treats amazing, biscoff flapjack was epic. The salt and pepper fries were worth the trip alone. Would reccommend

Amazing! The food was incredible we all had New Yorker Bagels, they were massive and tasted incredible. The rosemary chips are worth going for alone! All four of us really enjoyed our food! The staff there were incredibly friendly!

Great service and the cookie dough layer cake and drinks were awesome but the brownies were crispy and dry. More like a cake instead if a brownie but it could be a one off. We took one away to warm in the hope it softens. Unfortunate as we were guided there by the brownie recommendations.

Happy, friendly helpful staff will greet you to take your order. I have only tried the sweet menu food wise, the only thing wrong is it all tastes far too nice. The white hot chocolate is amazing and I do like the coffee, you may need to watch out for a leak from the takeaway cups but that is an unusual occurrence.

This bakery charges a more premium price for its products, which to be fair are made using good ingredients. Problem is the blondies and brownies are overcooked and crispy. I've had much better products from the local producer, Big Bear Blondies, which are cheaper, fresher and allergen friendly. The menu is decent but honestly, I don't think it's worth the prices. It didn't live up to my expectations which is disappointing given the profile of the bakery, being on the Apprentice and the winner!!

Sailed into Aberystwyth this morning had a walk up to this little place. The staff was fabulous even with him being so short on staff. And the food we had was a very nice surprise. Would definitely recommend it. ThAnKyOu so very much. 😁

It's become a habit. We may go to the North Promenade to "kick the bar", following the local custom to kick the last railing of the North Prom. If we go the other way, we say either "Let's walk along the South Beach", or more so these days, "Let's walk towards Alana's". Reading in the car, with the rain hammering down and the waves crashing, holding a cup of her very good Americano, is a feelgood experience. Add to that one of her deliciously decadent cookies, big choice, big flavours...and you know you're in Aberystwyth. Otherwise, just buy a coffee from the really helpful young man and watch the glorious sunset

Went to the cardiff one. Brownie milkshake ordered. Expected to at least have brownie in it. Instead it was just choc ice cream and milk blended with some whipped cheap a mashmellow and a bit of brownie stuck on the side. A tad disappointing.
