Busy cafe but managed to get a table for breakfast, but filled up quick. We were asked what we wanted to drink before having chance to look at the menu, so ordered a Latte and Flat white. But it wasn't until looking at the breakfast options discovered that we could of got a free drink, although it was instant coffee we would of chosen that. The waiter did say we could have it after, but didn't bother once finished the food. So a bit disappointed that it wasn't advised. Breakfast was nice, English was better than the American, so would definitely chose English next time. Very popular and the milkshakes look good. So would try one on next visit.

Absolutely fantastic! Wonderful selection of dishes to suit all appetites and a good selection of veggie and vegan options. We had a salad and a baguette and both portions were generous and absolutely delicious. Lovely fresh ingredients. Also ordered some of the smoothies which were so tasty and refreshing. One of the best lunch venues I have eaten at in a while. Great value for money, couldn't recommend it enough!

This food is delicious! Sophie was recommended to us by the staff in the hotel we were staying at and they weren't joking!! Lovely, fresh food, great portions and a price to match. We chose a busy time to eat but the wait time for it to arrive was adequate and served with a lovely smile.

How do you know if a cafe is good. Look at the queue. This is my second visit here ... And the second time I've needed to queue! Cracking little cafe with a small amount of outdoor seating and corridor seating inside. The menu has plenty to choose from, even for picky eaters .... Go with Sophie's Hash and 2 bacon slices for a fun breakfast alternative. Staff are lovely and the vibe is very chilled out.

We came to Sophie's JUST before the lunchtime rush, and honestly, best breakfast ever! Service was really quick. I had the pancakes and an iced coffee that really helped with the heatwave. Definitely recommend, but I suggest you come before or after busy periods because the café is small!

I have nothing but praise for this place. It was our first time visiting today and we got good vibes from here before we even entered. The food menu spoils you with options, the service is fast and friendly (this despite it being fully booked inside), and the food... Just incredible. The icing on the cake was that they serve white mochas, a drink you don't get often. Would highly recommend, and will definitely be back!

We went to Sophie’s for breakfast and it was delicious. Had to wait about 15 mins for a table as it was busy, which is fine, and it was worth it. Great menu with lovely tasting food for all sorts of dietary needs. We had the vegan breakfast which was real nice, and the coffee here is amazing. Treated ourselves to a milkshake on the way our, dairy free, and that was magnif too! Nice and clean cafe with friendly staff. Top work guys!!

The food is very nice and the staff is friendly. I had such an amazing vegan iced coffee and their smoothies are lush too. It is quite small inside so I wouldn't go there as a big group plus there are only 2 toilets...but great for little bite to eat while you are in town. Few parking spaces along that road too

Absolutely wonderful food, and very well priced. It is a busy place which can result in waits for tables, although the wait is certainly worth it! The monster breakfast is quite possibly the best English breakfast I have ever had, it was absolutely delicious. They also offer a loyalty scheme where if you buy 9 hot drinks you get one free. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly, will definitely be back!

Amazing café, great decor and a huge menu! Great prices on everything and the vegan variety was extensive. All breakfast meal options had the choice to go smaller for less food and a cheaper price which could be great for kids, the vegan milkshakes were amazing and each breakfast came with a complementary tea/coffee. There was also fresh things available, plenty of seating, and attentive staff. Good place to go for breakfast, brunch, or a larger meal with both a breakfast menu and a cafe menu. Definitely returning to this place next time I'm in Aberystwyth and recommending it to friends.

Don’t want to leave a bad review as we didn’t eat here, but this cafe came up when we Googled “dog friendly” and it is only dog friendly OUTSIDE. Dogs are not allowed inside as we discovered today on a rainy day. Shame as we would have love to have tried the food! Just wanted to make it more clear for anyone else who may think the same. We will try again on a day we can leave the dog behind.

They have an amazing variety of food options for main meals, snacks and drinks. These include items themed for various countries and US states. They also have good options for vegans and vegetarians. Food tastes wonderful and staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are very reasonable. We try and go to Sophie's whenever we visit Aberystwyth, it's quite small so this isn't always possible as they are so popular.

What a treat you're in for here, Sofie's is a relatively small cafe that just gets it right every time, with friendly staff and a really fantastic selection of food. every time we go here, we go away loving it even more. I usually go for the breakfasts, of which I've tried almost all of them and each one is delicious, and the veggie sausages are the best I've ever tried. the decor is lovely and every day that have a different infused water for you to try, I think this is a bit risky but I have no doubt that if you didn't want that they would get you an ordinary water instead, nothing you ask is too much or too little. I cant say enough good things about Sofie's. give them a go I promise you, you will not be disappointed, and prepare to have your favorite cafe/restaurant blown out of the water.

A very good greasy spoon with great quality food and friendly service. The main issue is that its own success is its demise. If you don't pick your timing correctly you could be waiting for a table for a while and the cafe is quite small leading to a feeling of being cramped.

Fantastic place, the food is always great, the pricing is perfect for the amount you get and the service is quick, lovely and very welcoming to all. A must do for anyone wanting breakfast and a good meal, the shakes are great too and the deserts are a very good treat. Access is good in the front room there is a step into the building but there is a ramp and into the back room there is a larger step that would be difficult for anyone using a wheelchair but there is seating in the front and outside the building so on hit days it's really nice to chill out the front. Staff are always friendly and helpful and happy to come back if needing more time to choose from the good menu and very happy to change things, with an additional cost but well worth getting the mushrooms 😊 A staple of the high street in Aberystwyth and a place I have been to for years and always take people there to introduce them to the best breakfast in town.

One of my favourite places to eat and one of the best in Aberystwyth. It has a variety of hot chocolates, smoothies and milkshake as well as free real fruit flavoured water from urns. My go to is usually the American breakfast. The breakfasts come in 3 sizes half, whole and monster. Every type is delicious including the vege breakfast. The lunches are delicious with great variety. It's a lovely place for a meal or a coffee. Beware it is popular and can have waiting times at peak times.
