Good coffee and cakes but let down by the service. The cafe was busy when we arrived and we took a recently vacated table. Despite only ordering coffee and cakes, they took 20 mins to arrive which wouldn't have been a problem if our table had been cleared and cleaned in the meanwhile, but we were left with a collection of dirty cups and spilt milk and coffee on the table. We had to specifically request that our table was cleared and cleaned on receiving our order, and the guy then had to go back to get a cloth. Would have been so much nicer to have sat around a clean table from the start.

Really impressed with this little gem. A friend and I did a Charity ride from Swansea to Aberystwyth and back last Sunday. This was the halfway point. Some much needed panini's, soft drinks and coffee were enjoyed. Great staff. Friendly and very reasonable prices. Will definately return (but likely will drive next time) 🤣

They forgot our order. Had to wait and wait for a simple ham and cheese toastie. Had complimentary drink. Not very comfortable seating. Pleasant staff but probably won't return.

We needed a nice warming drink and Y Caban looked inviting from the street. Inside the staff were friendly and the coffee and cakes were delicious. We even got a complimentary crepe to taste! The tables were clean and divided as per the Covid regs. Definitely recommended for anyone passing by needing a coffee in a relaxed environment.

The cafe has stood here for as long as I can remember. Lovely and cosy, it feels like a great place to relax after school or work or to chill with friends. They even offer sweet and savoury crepes as of recent. The cafe charges fair rates for their coffees and teas and food with the option of takeout or eat in. The food's quality has never changed and I'm glad for it. I still go there when I can nowadays.

Coffee is good, a reasonable selection of light food. Does Panini, rolls etc. Generally not too busy so good if you want some peace. Although refurbished relatively recently it will seem very familiar to those who patronised it in the1970s! It still has the old theatre spotlights installed by Mark Satchell all those years ago, and many of the same posters. I understand some of the comments about the friendly owner and the less than hospitable staff. They need to learn a little more about customer service, especially given the growing competition. However, I would still recommend it.

The Cabin at Aberystwyth on Pier Street. Really nice food and dog friendly. Very pleasant owners and a top chef. The food is fantastic and the cafe has a warm atmosphere. We would definitely recommend this to anyone.

A classic of Aberystwyth. Small, lovely cafe with a Hollywood theme serving light lunches. Staff are welcoming and relaxed. Nice friendly atmosphere but, given that it's a small space, it can get a little awkward to maneuver. Definitely one of the cafes go to for a proper 'Aber' visit.
