Ordered the picnic box for 1, Apricot Danish and a Baguette from this place. The food was soo good in the picnic box- especially the pretzels which were to die for. The baguette was fresh and delicious. Unfortunately they ran out of pastries so I got the sausage rolls instead. I would definitely recommend the food at this place!

Love the design of this coffee shop. Very wooden and chic! Posting as I had an amazing chai latte (some places make them way too sweet but this was perfect) and the best frangipane I've ever had. So I figured they deserved a good review. They were lovely and really good service too. Now I know about this place I'll definitely be back! (Picture attached of the big bit of frangipane! Which I may have already taken a bite of 👀)

Gosh this place is fantastic. I come here whenever I go to visit anyone or have anyone over and we need cake! I've attended crafty evenings held here, which were incredibly fun, and Lisa baked a crumb-coated cake no questions asked when I said I needed one to decorate for my niece's birthday the next day. Genuinely the loveliest people run it; you can tell they love the community and are one of those businesses that uplift it. Recommend: Their white chocolate and raspberry cake and their biscoff brownies are to die for.

We recently attended a bottomless Prosecco and grazing board evening. A lovely warm welcome, cosy atmosphere with lots of charming fairy lights to add to the ambience of the evening. All staff were very friendly and attentive, plenty of prosecco and the grazing boards were very generous too, lovely selection of charcuterie and cheese.

Really nice haven for a coffee and toasted teacake or cake... or a great breakfast... or lunch. Everything looks attractive and fresh. Staff friendly and there was a lovely ambience when I was there. Even though I was on my own the background of animated chatter from other customers made me feel welcome somehow. Worth a walk to find! Thank you!!

Lisa and her girls are fantastic! I have special dietary requirements and feel a nuisance when going out for food, but they were so accommodating and helped me to find foods appropriate to my needs. Ever so friendly and sweet. Definitely one to visit if you haven't done so already!

THIS PLACE IS FANTASTIC! I’m amazed it has received anything but positive reviews...the staff are fantastic, the food is delicious and all the cakes are home made, generously portioned and taste incredible. Lisa makes all the cakes herself and also makes cakes for special occasions too...we’ve had christening cakes, wedding cakes and they have all been exceptional! They have dealt with the transition into Covid brilliantly and kept their intimate atmosphere even with all of the changes. LOVE THIS PLACE!

Great, welcoming staff and very tasty food. The owner makes all the cakes and they are wonderful, particularly her cupcakes and salted caramel brownie. She recently made me some chocolate orange cupcakes as an anniversary present for my husband. They were fantastic value and absolutely delicious. They are child friendly.

Fantastic coffee shop one of the best in bedford . The staff are lovely so friendly . The coffee is gorgeous and the selection of cakes blows you away ! Plus the cake is one of the best I 've ever tasted ... caramel apple cake highly recommend. We even took some away for later . Geared up well for covid too ... wrapped knife and forks and clear screens everywhere . You must visit !

A hidden local gem! I held an event here and was not disappointed the food was superb, presented in a warm cosy friendly atmosphere. Exceptional service, very attentive and professional. Coffee house in the day, wine bar in the evenings, I will definitely be coming back here!

The lunches are delicious with an extensive choice of baguettes and sandwiches as well as tasty breakfasts. The choice of snacks, cakes etc. is varied and yummy. The wide range of coffees is served strong and hot. The service is excellent. They are undergoing a refurbishment at the moment that will double the indoor seating available so it's really looking good for the future.

Take away service only at present due to Covid but coffee is great. They also have a mix and match "sandwich" menu where you choose from bread, bagle, baget etc, then choose any 2 of an assortment of fillings, you can also add salad if required. They also have a selection of cakes. Service is always with a smile. A great place to pick up lunch, with Russell Park and the Embankment at the end of the adjacent side street.

Consistently the best coffee I have had outside of N.America and Central Americas. Excellent range of cakes and snacks like that (there are other food options iirc but I gave not tried so can't speak for that). Staff are totally sound, its a lovely neighbourhood place to grab coffee at the least and come back to again and again.
