Came here after 2 years when they done the refurb and it looks amazing. Much bigger space for the kitchen for staff to work in and still decent amount of seating for customers. Got the bbq wings, holy shack burger, big shack burger and dirty fries. Everything tasted amazing, especially the big shack burger my goodness that was something else 😍 bbq wings were massive and juicy 🤤 very nice place to have quick bite and brunch. Lovely location for the locals.

Excellent food, massive burgers. Chips were also very tasty. Sauces supplement the food, and they are generous with tubs. Only improvement I can think of is maybe use a bit bigger burger bun, will be back again.

Surprised it wasn’t mentioned in Pulp Fiction? Should have been! Well above average burger shack. Tiny. Local secret. Excellent fries, good burgers (you may need to get a little messy), tasty dips and sauces. Staff all smile and want to help. Sensible pricing, and plenty of options for vegetarians as well. Deserves 5* for the love and attention and a bonus for lifting a little corner of Bedfordshire above the horror of the food at “another well known local attraction”.

Easily the best chicken joint in the local area - they hit a sweet spot between amazing quality, decent quantity, and a truckload of flavour. Best tenders, and nachos ever! We have come all the way from Baldock multiple times to eat here. Could not be more highly recommended

Eaten here too many times both dine in and takeaway. Food is sooooo good, great quality, good value and very filling. All the staff are lovely, especially the young lads who regularly offer to get a high chair for my girls and open the door for me. Eating here again this weekend!

The best food you could imagine. Fresh and hot and not small. The Don le clay is my personal favourite and highly recommended huge amount of most yet crispy battery chicken topped with gooey halloumi, salad and sauce. The dirty fries as a side which are out of this world. The milk shakes are also on another level with my personal favourite being the white kinder beuno with cream. Will come back to this place for along as its ope.

Another Barton go to! Got take away here. Tried the Don Le Clay Chicken Burger, Skinny Fries, Halloumi Fries and Dirty Fries. Extremely good!! Ordered and they said 20 mins. Was bang on 20 mins if not a bit earlier. Definitely recommend. Skinny fries are seasoned with a very good seasoning and the halloumi fries are not your average, battered and absolutely delicious. The burger is the largest chicken breast burger I have had and is super juicy and tender. Highly recommended!!

Without a doubt the best burger I’ve ever had (and I’ve had many). I had the Don-le-Clay Burger, which was delicious. Exceptional quality and value and service from their staff was excellent too. Good to see a decent independent restaurant that’s more than just ordinary.

Nice menu and good range of vegetarian options. (Will be even better when there are more vegan choices too). Delicious milkshakes and a fabulous choice of these! Friendly, efficient service. Breakfast not available yet (I asked) - but maybe this will become available if there's sufficient demand. Personally, I think lots of people would like breakfast or brunch at the weekend! 😃

The food was absolutely delicious, presentation was out of this world, and to top it of, the service was A1. I would highly recommend this restaurant to all! I had the Don Le Clay burger which was tasty and very filling. To end the night, I asked for an Oreo milkshake.. which was one like no other. Definitely not your average!

I discovered this place a few months ago and I can honestly say, I’m obsessed! I’ve been ordering weekly from them and I highly recommend! I managed to eat in just before the lock down. The place is cozy and staff are friendly and customer service is brilliant. Food doesn’t take long to get to your table after placing an order. I love the fact they have nice list of food on offer. This place is halal too! You can find parking directly outside the place or there’s a few on the main road. This is suitable for family/friends/couples.

I've been there 3 times now and have never been disappointed, the burgers, sides and desserts are fresh and delicious! Always recommend this place to friends looking to try somewhere new! A great little spot!

Friendly stuff awesome burgers, nice coffee... Haven't tried the shakes and waffles etc yet but imagine they will be good. Pretty pricey tbh for food but the standards are high. If I had one complaint they don't serve the full menu on a Sunday which I could have done with on a couple of hangovers but we can forgive them this transgression and I guess they deserve one day off... Monday ;)

These guys know what people want from food. Well prepared, well cooked and seasoned, great menu and a good selection of spice from nothing, to gentle and mild through to a fun challenge. The drinks are great too.

We stopped in here in the middle of a bike ride, all of the staff were super friendly, taking interest in where we were going etc and couldn't have been more helpful, offering to fill up water bottles un-prompted and went out of their way to make sure we were well looked after. To top it off, the coffee and waffles were amazing as well!!

Ordered collection today after Foodie From Luton's recommendation. Had 3 OG burgers and a Double Shack burger. The burgers were absolutely immense. Super tasty! The lotus biscoff cheesecake was wonderful and topped off a great meal. We all enjoyed it and cannot wait to go and eat inside once this lockdown is over. Thank you to the owner for the drinks offered aswell having run out of chicken wings! Can't wait to revisit. Thank you.

Just had a vegan burger and was very fresh and tasty. Quality of food and service is good but found it pricey.

Wow. Atmos perfect for me (we hit this place up for the breakfast buns, b4 11am vibes), staff mega friendly, locality good... Parking about but only a few spaces exclusive for the eatery... AND THE FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY BANGING! Thoughtfully created and presented, attention to flavours/blends... Quality ingredients and mindful approach to what they sell/serve (no pork bacon/sausages but beef alternatives) They also sell burgers, grilled sandwiches, pancakes and wings here btw, not just breakfast buns - open from early until late. And the staff even held the door open for us upon exit (Nice touch 👍) Will be back (soon) (Bring mask) #banging 👌 Ps tater tots (sprinkled with paprika) are banging

OK so. Basically. Have you ever heard of Floyd Mayweathers TBE? Yh this is TBE. THE BEST EVER. There is NO other way to word it. Shout out to the team! I've had everything off that menu and ZERO complaints!!
