M. E.Back in Belfast after a couple of years away, was gagging for a Fry. Blinkers hit the spot. Great attentive staff and the older guy, who I assume was the owner, doing the rounds chatting to the regulars. Odd combination of American style booths and Tiffany lamps just works somehow - smart but not up itself. Oh... and the food... everything you would expect of a Fry at a reasonable price. Lots of more exotic things on the menu too. Can't be faulted.
B. B. l.Sat in with my folks for a bit of lunch a couple of weeks ago, I got a chicken and cheese melt and it was delicious! They do great fries in here too :) staff were great craic! It's got a great retro vibe so perfect for a day out!
J. M.Blinkers is a twenty-four carat gold Belfast experience, food is flavoursome to go with the firm but adept waitressing. The Ulster Fry is a scrumptious morsel, sets you up for you’re day’s ventures. Potato bread mops up the runny egg yolk superbly!
R. M.Went today for milkshakes and apple pie, is good for the prices and the service is great, they always have a smile on their faces and they make the place feel familiar. Fell in love with the apple pie and ice cream on the spot, it was nice and tangy and the crust was flakey and sweet, served warm with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream or cream.
Completely recommended stop for something small and a good time, prices are great as well.
We will be going back for sure

K.Omg..loved it..I thought a good diner type unpretentious eating place was a thing of the past..I had the fish and chips with peas 2 rounds of bread and butter and the nicest pot of tea I had in ages..the fish was amazing....staff where really friendly..I live 8 miles outside Belfast but am planning to visit at least once a week..you have to try it..

R. M.I used to love going to blinkers when I lived in Belfast. Slowly noticed the portions getting smaller and the prices going up. Hadn't been in 3 years so thought I'd call in. Safe to say I'll not be back. Payed £5 for an "Ulster Fry" which consisted of 1 sausage, 1 bit of bacon, 1 egg, I bit of potato bread and 1 bit of soda bread. Partner ordered a lasagne and 2 kids means ordered too, came to a total of £24. Staff are lovely and food is of a good standard but prices and portions are ridiculous.

D. R.I'm American and came upon this restaurant randomly while visiting Belfast in 2007. I liked the casual, friendly atmosphere. On my return trip to Belfast in 2016, I had to return here for nostalgic purposes. The 2nd visit wasn't as good as the first. The waitress was impatient and nearly impossible to understand with her thick brogue. She got nicer as time went on. The food was average at best. It's good for a casual lunch or dinner in the heart of the city. If you're looking for higher quality, go elsewhere.

D.We got two frys and they came out as soon as we ordered so either the chef was a mind reader or their food sits cooked which it tastes like, waitresses and a waiter were 100% without making the girl feel old it felt to me like the way my mum would get on nice and friendly but straight to the point. So the service is fantastic the prices are cheap compared to cafes near by but the food was a let down and unfortunately I wouldn't make a point of going back. I'm not slabbering about the chef or whatever but how we got 2 frys before our pots of tea is beyond me, usain bolt couldn't have got them quicker I should have said something but because the staff were so nice I didn't. They even had a hip hip hooray birthday cake for one of their workmates so again if the food was half as nice as the staff you'd be flying but unfortunelaty in my opinion only 3stars from me and that's generous, in my opinion.

j. s.The food was more ateable than it looked in fact it was very tasty which is all ways the case.
The only thing I don't like is they leave the rhind on the middle beacon as it is rather thick.
The reason for just 3.5 Stars was because we think our waitress was having a not so great day along with the beacon rhind.
But she cheered up when she was tipped.
We believe staff should be tipped a minimum of £2.00up to 10% of the bill which we always try to stick to.
So try to remember their tips help go a long way to help their wages

J. W.As close as you're going to get to a small town, American, pit stop diner in the heart of Belfast. Blinkers loyal customers - and there are many - come from all walks of life, including students, busy office workers, tourists and everyone looking for a bargain. They are drawn to its value-for-money fast food, often served in a red plastic "BBQ chicken" tray (£5 tuna melt with salad and fries) and in a comfortable but no frills setting complete with US-style red leather booths. Oh and don't forget their army of motherly waitresses who greet everyone with terms such sweetheart and dear. I wouldn't be at all surprised to hear them say say goodbye and add "have a nice day - ya'll come back now". Blinkers is a treat.. for the senses and the wallet!
