This is either my best or second best vegan breakfasts I've ever eaten, I'm not sure. It was absolutely delicious. Imaginative and tasty 😋
The whole menu is good and they cater for all.
My little jack made short work of her Puppachino and biscuits too and she's a fussy eater 👍🐕
It was an amazing experience. Like I was eating my favourite food whilst also being part of a fairy tale 🧚♀️
Decor is interesting and fun.
Staff are lovely, helpful and friendly.
I recommend you check it out for yourselves.......
I'll go out of my way to eat here again 🌻🙏💚🌈
PS..... Great coffee too ☕❤️

I absolutely loved this little cafe. One of my favorite things about it was the old music playing. It really helped set the mood. The decor was whimsical and pretty, and the staff were great.
I got the French toast and enjoyed it, as well as a really nice scone. Whether you want something to takeaway or to sit in, I’d definitely recommend coming here. Especially if you’re a CS Lewis fan.

Cosy, comfortable, and a little quirk with seating on two floors. Staff professional and as friendly as I'd want them to be. Food was frash and well prepared. Decent filter coffee which, for me, is a must. Dog friendly. Family too with highchairs on both floors. A great find.

An absolutely gorgeous cafe dedicated to C.S. Lewis!
The atmosphere is very welcoming and the cafe is well decorated and dog friendly!
The food is fresh, incredible and in well sized portions!!
S. R.
The best thing about this place is the decor. Felt kind of cramped inside with wobbly chairs.Staff were not that friendly and if you don't like dogs then definitely don't come here! Food was average had the French toast. Wouldn't rush back..
S. C.
Love this place been a couple of times now for brunch. Great vegan menu. The food is fresh and tasty there's a good selection. Lovely cakes and buns and good choice of teas etc. Also do afternoon tea which I'm planning on doing soon. I loved the decor which is based on the CSLewis Narnia books. The staff are lovely helpful and friendly and its dogs friendly what's not to love.

Delighted we stumbled across this cafe. Food was delicious and the staff were great - kindly turning off the music when they saw my son, who has SPD, struggling with noise.

Absolutely Gorgeous.
The atmosphere is very welcoming, looks like being in Narnia. Very well decorated.
The food is incredible!! Never had a Rubarb compote and custard cream french toast, and it's a great combination, especially with the toasted granola over the top.
The scone was amazing as well.

A beautiful, quaint, little dog friendly café tucked away beside the Hollywood Arches bus stop. Delicious home style food, great vintage music, the overall feel is wonderful. I keep coming back.

Looking to book an "afternoon tea" for friend"s birthday and wanted to avoid the City Centre rip-off.
Found the Lamppost recommended on line, booking was simple and the whole experience was top notch! Warm friendly welcome, pretty setting, lots of very tasty, fresh food and as much tea/coffee as we wanted. Will definitely be back to sample more of their offer soon. 😁

Regularly go here with friends. We always sit upstairs and feel like we're really at home like you're in a living room rather than a café. Staff are always very friendly and accommodating (and we usually stay for at least 4 hours each time!!) keeping us filled up on drinks and food. Good menu and the coffee is great
M. N. B.
Having been a Narnia fan since I was able to read, I'd been itching to go here for the longest time, and I'm so glad I finally did. When we got in the place was packed, but the staff were attentive, facilities were great and the full breakfast was delicious! Come for the decor, stay to feel like you're deep in Narnia!

Had a great time here at the weekend, amazing service, really friendly and professional, beautiful food! The fry with the black pudding crumble is a genius idea! And of course the cafe is beautiful! Big fan 😊
T. P.
One of the most beautiful coffee shop in Belfast! Impressive interior decoration, very cozy, fairly priced, high quality and friendly staff. The afternoon tea is a must!
J. B.
Discovered this little gem of a place today. A haven of cosiness in the Christmas madness. Fab vegan options on the menu and cheerful, helpful staff too. The decor is magical and it made it difficult to have to go face the Christmas shopping again! Planning my next visit already......
D. A.
Gorgeous little cafe with beautiful decor. Friendly staff and wonderful food. Try the eggs & avocado with walnuts, chilli flakes & feta cheese. Delicious cakes too - well worth a visit!
Y. H.
The French toast is insanely tasty. there are also nice staffs, great decoration, and tasteful background sound. Definitely a good choice to enjoy a quiet and pleasant morning.

Lovely wee dog friendly café with good food, good service and best of all lots of pups about the place. Very reasonably priced and also accepts Membership Plus cards.
Z. L.
Very nice place, staff are very friendly and welcoming, coffee is brilliant!
I did not try the food yet but will definitely be back soon to get my breakfast as it looked amazing and seems that the people around me was very pleased with it.
Will definitely come back again to this place to check the rest of their stuff!

Beautiful food. Doggy friendly. Frozy's outstanding. Just ask our Boycee. As you can see in the pic, he loved it. Follow his story at boyceethebulldog.blogspot.com
B. B.
This is a very unique find. A cafe completely centred around CS Lewis’s Chronicles of Narnia stories. The interior will have you fixated from when you first enter until you leave. There are so many nooks and crannies to explore and unique and individual objects to admire. A great stop off for some tea or coffee and scones with a ton of character included.
S. D.
I visited today with my friend and my labrador. A really special place. So dog friendly and very clean and welcoming. Food was great and staff so helpful and friendly. A jewel and was quirky..loved it. Thnx for ur hospitality. Was a lovely visit and luncheon.
S. M.
This is a truly hidden gem. Slightly off the main beaten track when doing any CS Lewis walking tour. But make the effort. It is well worth it. Great coffees and an Irish stew you could stand for spoon up in served with a home made wheaten bread. Super for lunch or just a tea or coffee. Good selection of cakes and pastries and not expensive.
They have really made an effort to make the writings off CS Lewis come alive inside the cafe and possibly the most eclectic toilet in Belfast. Thurs place deserves all 5 stars
J. B.
Great little cafe themed on the Naria books by C S Lewis. Quirky interior and Great coffee and food.
B. S.
Very cute and themed, would be gorgeous on a cold day to be inside with all the decorations! Food and coffee great, big portions, prepped very quickly and good prices, wish we had come for afternoon tea! Great spot to reminisce about CS Lewis childhood memories.
T. R.
A gorgeous, quirky and friendly wee cafe with a brilliant range of food to suit all diets and cheery, helpful staff. Best kept secret in the area.
L. M.
I don't usually leave reviews but I called in here at the weekend and it was a lovely experience. Blonde waitress was helpful and attentive. Even though it was really busy I didn't have to wait long and service was excellent. Good food, good coffee.
r. m.
What a lovely experience
.like going back in time to a gentler time, lovely scone with jam and cream and tea..so relaxing.
B. K.
This was our first visit, will definitely be back. Staff where very friendly and helpful, the cafe was clean. We loved the decor. We had our dogs Cyndi & Daisy with us, they were both well looked after. There was a puppy menu, we ordered sausages & chicken and pawchino. We both had the fry, we both agreed was one of the best frys we have had.
G. W.
Lovely food & coffee in quaint Narnia themed surroundings. The dog menu is a fantastic touch, my pup can vouch for the puppacchino and steak sausage.
F.
Do yourself a favour and pop in here for some food. It's a delightful experience. The decor is beautiful and the food is excellent! I had the avocado on sourdough with poached eggs, I was bit disappointed.
Really, really lovely atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. 10 out of 10!
G. B.
A gorgeous place. Fully deserving of its great reviews. It's beautifully decorated with plenty of small touches making the place extremely homie. Staff is helpful and food is not only very delicious, but also immaculately served. 10 out of 10 and a place we will definitely go back to next time we are in Belfast!
H. C.
Lovely setting and excellent food. Staff very friendly.

Absolute best venue in Belfast for private dining. Loved every dish and every second of our night celebrating my dads 60th.
Superb staff, superb food - celebrating in style 🤗😍

Such an amazing time. Could not fault this place. Everything was so relaxed and calm. We brought our dog with us and she had her first puppuccino. She loved it. Would highly recommend to anyone. Staff were lovely. Can't speak highly enough of this place.

Cosy setting, lovely food and friendly staff ☺️
Slightly smaller menu/range than I personally would have liked but well made food 🤤
M. M. (.
First time in won't be the last friendly staff and parking is handy and good price for the menu. Plus it is dog friendly which is great also has a dog menu so we got the puppucchino.
M. F.
We visited this cafe on a recent trip to Belfast and couldn’t speak more highly of it. The food was amazing, service second-to-none, and dog-friendly menu options fantastic. They have literally thought of everything!
B. K.
Excellent fry and my wee dog enjoyed her chicken
J. L.

Cant compliment it enough. Great breakfast, exceptional coffee. Love that dogs are welcome. They even have a doggy menu which is a nice touch.
The staff are all very friendly and welcoming.
I will definitely return.

Love this café, perfect place for tea n scones on a winters day, especially after exploring Narnia.
R. L.
Lovely little cafe, great menu options and staff are Always going over and beyond.
Was in shortly after my birthday and they brought a (big) slice of cake up with candles on it and sung happy birthday! (Not requested by anyone)
Setting is themed to Lion Witch and Wardobe, a real little gem of a local cafe
A. S. (.
Lovely dog friendly Cafe with great unique atmosphere. Food was delicious. The apple and cinnamon tea is like apple crumble in a cup 👌
K. K.
Just took my little puppy here for breakfast!
I had fantastic mushrooms on toast with perfect coffee. Puppy had steak sausage from menu!! Staff couldn't have been friendlier, atmosphere brilliant. It's a hidden gem....and well worth checking out especially with your pet!
D. C.
We had an excellent breakfast here today and they happily cater for gluten free diets. The coffee was also excellent. The atmosphere was very quiet and it was really nicely decorated with CS Lewis themed items. Excellent service as well. We instantly told the rest of the family to check it out sometime too.
F. b.
This little cafe is wonderful. It has so much character and quirkiness to it whilst making sure the main thing - the stuff for the belly - is properly done. We were a group of 5 so ordered almost everything on the menu and there was very few crumbs left. Delicious fry and coffee and the workers helpful and friendly. It's a little gem and worth a visit, for yourself or like us - to impress some guests! Thanks to the people there :)
A. l.
Love this wee cafe, a must visit 😊 Staff are so welcoming and food is great
e. h.
Fantastic decor and delicious food, would highly recommend!
C. B.
Lovely wee place, really cute inside with great staff and nice atmosphere. We went here this morning for breakfast and our frys were delicious. The bacon and sausages amazing. We brought the dog too and he was given water, bacon bits and lots of attention so he was happy too!
D. H.
Xmas sandwich is delicious! Staff were friendly and you can bring your dog too!
E. A.
My favourite Cafe in Belfast. So cosy and I love all the little details in the decor, I always say I could spend all day in there reading a book. I've been so many times and never had a bad experience, food is always delicious and they have a wide range of different teas, I recommend the cherry and almond rooibos! Coffee is great too
陳.
Absolutely wonderful!!! The furniture were amazingly delicate and beautiful, forming a cozy and dream-like atmosphere. The meals were outstandingly tasty and the service was extraordinarily friendly and passionate. Every corner in the restaurant was full of surprise, even the lavatory was worth taking pictures. Definitely love this place. A muat-go for all visitors here.
I. A. J.
It's a really beautiful place to spend the afternoon in Belfast.
C. A.
Went down to grab a couple of takeaway frys the other day and to support a local business that is making free meals for local kids during the extended Halloween break. Food was excellent, as usual and they even threw in a wee sweet treat to go with my coffee. I'd urge anyone to help local businesses if you can just now. Especially ones like this that are giving back to the community.
C. N.
Second time visiting this cafe whilst coming to Belfast from England and it's still as lovely as ever. The cafe is beautiful decorated with great attention to detail and the atmosphere is cosy and welcoming. The food was excellent - can definitely recommend the Guinness Bread and chocolate brownies!!
K. B.
Lovely decor, food delicious and reasonably priced, dog friendly!!!
T. M.
A hidden Jewel in Northern Ireland. The perfect haven for anyone who enjoys reading, good service and a quaint yet relaxing atmosphere.
A wonderland brought to life and fantastical atmosphere that makes you feel like you're a character in a book. Can not recommend this place enough, it is an amazing memorable experience to be there.q
Also it is one of the very few dog friendly cafes that is actually welcoming to dogs as opposed to forcing them outside with a water bowl. Which is my experienced in other supposed dog friendly cafes.
Treat your imagination and visit.
C. B.
Oh I thought I had walked into Narnia amazing place waffles were excellent. You can bring your dog with you and he or she have their own menu. Lovely staff.
C. H.
Great cafe, scones are amazing and its dog friendly too with dog suitable menu. Knocked a star off for some recent occurrences. Having driven 30 minutes to get there we arrived 40 minutes before closing time and it was already closing up. We rang as the door was locked and told that they closed early as it was not busy. I can imagine very rare but it left us less than amused. Generally the kitchen closes an hour or so before the closing time, so only tray bakes etc available from then on but to date there has never been an issue still getting something like a steak sausage for our pup after the kitchen closes, but on the last visit we were rather bluntly told that the kitchen was closed as we had been told when we arrived, with our explanation that this had never been an issue in any of our previous 10+ visits of little concern to the server. The staff are generally brilliant, this one server was bucking that trend. Well worth a visit!
J. L.
Such a lovely cafe! The staff was friendly, quick service and great food. Limited menu options but just enough variety to allow you to find something that’s appeals to you. They even have the cutest tea for one pots!!
J. D.
We love this place, staff are so lovely, nothing too much trouble and breakfasts (lovely waffles!) one of the best. Also nice to be able to bring your dog in. My daughter, Lindsay's dog, Ozzie, specially loves the plate of titbits he always gets🐶.
J. M.
The food is nice and staff very friendly. Only complaint was the banana milkshake. Im pretty sure its just banana milk/milk with banana flavouring with cream on top and ice cubes? Taste was very mild and it has the consistency of water. I had to drink it as quick as I could before the ice melted and watered down the flavour even further.
T. P.
Service was excellent. Was there with my two cousins and there little puppy. Food was very good and the puppy enjoyed the apple slices. Would definitely recommend and will revisit again.
R. G.
Nice food, good coffee, lovely decor & reasonable prices. There is actually a free car park near by making this place super handy. My only recommendation would be not to bring a pram - I went with my baby & I got the sense that the staff weren't pleased with me bringing the pram in to the café because there isn't much room. I don't really blame them for that, I would know for again.
S. G.
Afternoon tea quite disappointing as Sandwiches were really out there, whatever happened to just plain cheese and ham. (Tomato and pesto etc )so I couldn't eat any sandwiches as I'm more of a plain jane. The treats were nice and the staff was lovely but unfortunately I wouldn't go back. Just my opinion.
L. M.
Such a quaint eatery with a Narnia feel. Staff friendly and professional. Food delicious and nicely presented. Dog friendly too with their own little menu. Hope to visit again 🐾
H. G.
We are regulars here since having my son who is now 16 months old. They have always been welcoming and the food is delicious at really good prices! I would recommend going upstairs when its busy as it's such a relaxed vibe!
H. B.
What a gorgeous wee cafe! Lovely surroundings, friendly staff and a really tasty afternoon tea. Perfect for a wee impromptu day out with my sister - it's very relaxed and informal. Can't wait to go back
S. M.
We had a lovely lunch i had the most amazing poached egg and avocados on sourdough bread and my dog loved his sausages and pupachinno .
A. L.
Lovely little café. Dog friendly. Good quality food and friendly polite service. Also available for takeaway in the current circumstances with restrictions on the hospitality industry.
T. H.
Lovely find near C S Lewis square at the Holywood Arches in East Belfast. Dropped by on off chance of a nice lunch thanks to plenty of on street parking. Nice subtle Narnia theme. Excellent sandwich and fine range of coffees, friendly staff and warm atmosphere. Will be back.
A.
This cafe is a little gem! Quaint and Quirky with lovely fresh food. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and are keen to assist with any questions as well as explaining food on the menu if needed. I will be going back soon!

We loved The Lamppost. The food was very good. They have nice wee touches. To top it all you're allowed to bring your dog in the cafe. They spoilt Flint as well which was great. Thank you folks.
A. G.
Huge cup of coffee as it should be. Tasty
Lovely scones and dog friendly.
Having been a huge Enid Blyton reader, this is like the cafe the famous five would discuss tactics
Love it
l. n.
Awesome cafe, the theming is so spot on, there’s a lot of amazing artwork, everything is set up as if you’re literally in Narnia and it’s amazing! The food is also excellent and their veggie option is much more than just the regular food without the bacon. Would highly recommend 😊
A.
Best coffee in the East! When ur there grab yourself a raspberry and chocolate scone, its beautiful, comes served warm with butter, fresh cream and jam #delicious Definitely worth a visit. Inside is like a little Narnia. Highly recommend this place.
A. T.
If you're into the book: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe then it's for you. Personally, it had too much stuff everywhere that make it feel slightly overwhelming. Like sitting in your hoarding grandma's front room. Coffee was good and the food looked nice. Overall a mixed bag.
c. M. g.
I love here because it's Quirky and also traditional. I love the decor and I love all the stuff to do with C. S Lewis and Narnia. The service is excellent, the menu is great and the atmosphere is lovely

Really nice and cozy place with good atmosphere of quaint French coffee shop. Everything inside is Narnia themed, even the name - which it got from Lucy first arriving in Narnia and first thing she saw was lamppost

J. Q.
I absolutely LOVE the Lamppost Cafe on Upper Newtownards Road, Belfast!
Not only is it cool and quirky and fun, the food is lovely, and to be honest, I used to say my favourite cappuccino was to be had in Avoca, but nu uh😉🤩 not anymore! The coffee in Lamppost cafe is gorgeo, and the cappuccinos are really creamy, and I particularly love the milk options( my fav being the oat milk).
I bring me wee pal Henry along too🙂,( my Dashing Dachshund) and he gets a special VIP treatment too😉
Seriously, it’s a really cool little place, with much to look at, and talk about, and the big room upstairs is stunning with its decor....
The family( and owners) are friendly and accommodating and again, the food is deelish...and portions sizeable!
Check it out for yourself and see🤗

Quaint wee café in a victorian house. Even the windows still have their old victorian glass. Open fire on a chilly day is welcoming. This Narnia themed coffee shop is a great place to enjoy a chat with friends over a coffee and tray baking. Look out for some of the many victorian pieces including an original work by Thomas Crapper.
A. K.

(Translated) The breakfast is delicious and plentiful, but the service is hesitant. The waitress was not logical when she received us: she made us sit at 3 on a tiny table while the breakfast has a lot of plates, while the table next door was much larger but she did not install us there at first ... We had to move when she brought all the breakfast. Otherwise the decor on the theme of Narnia is very beautiful! A beautiful experience!
