Caffe concerto with their delightful products has given us an amazing Sunday family experience with their amazing Coffees made by their lovely staff who served us with a welcoming smile. I definitely would recommend this place.

Afternoon Tea is so worth it! Brilliant customer service by Guiseppe (might have spelt the name wrong) Really clean, great service, presentation of food and variety is so good! Reasonable covid measures in place. Recommend a try Price: £27.50 for afternoon tea for 2 pp and an additional iced tea as it was incredibly hot today/day of visit. Revisit: Yes! Customer Service alone was enough to bring me back. Favourite Bit: The chutney and cheddar sandwich, the customer service, the presentation, the fresh scones and open plan layout, manage to fit us in the afternoon tea slow within an hour. Least favourite: Did not get to try the salmon as it was last min and they ran out. The mozzarella and pesto replacement was definitely not for us. (Only part of the meal we didnt finish) Overall: a solid 4/5

My brother in law booked us an afternoon tea for 4. Theres were no issues when we requested that all food was halal/vegetarian. We were each asked what flavour/type of tea we would like and sat at a “reserved” table. The tea came in individual pots which had approx 2 cups of tea in. The tea was served before the food so I was already half way through my 2nd cup when the food arrived and as there was no refills included, we found ourselves needing to ask for water. For the Afternoon Tea They served us a selection of sandwiches; salmon & cream cheese, egg mayo, cucumber & cream cheese, halal chicken & sun-dried tomatoes. All the sandwiches were nice and enjoyable except the chicken & sun dried tomato - i felt there was too much tomato and the chicken was a little dry. The scones were served with a selection of clotted cream, butter and strawberry jam (plenty of each). We each had a plain scone and a dried fruit scone. The scones were lovely, not dry at all, just a tad on the sweet side for me but otherwise delicious! For dessert we were given: strawberry mouse, chocolate mousse, blueberry, lemon & custard tart, a raspberry & chocolate tart and 2 macarons. I’m not a huge fan of macarons but my sister enjoyed them. The rest of the desserts were really tasty with just one criticism. The pastry on the tart shells was too soft for my liking, I would have preferred a nice robust short crust pastry. Overall an enjoyable Afternoon Tea with plenty of food to keep you full for a while!! There is also whole selection of delicious looking cakes, pastries and gelato to try!

What has happen to the coffee latte hardly any coffee just like a cup of warm milk. My husband and I went a few weeks ago it was the same . I took it back had a replacement a bit better. This time was terrible made us both felt I’ll. we have been going to the concerto for many years although the coffee is expensive it was very good and a good service. Sorry we will not be back

I bought a birthday cake for my mother but when i went to go collect it the cake had slightly smudged. Roberto (manager) was so apologetic for this and advised me to contact headoffice. I had contacted head office and they where apologetic and had offered myself and my mom free afternoon tea. My mom and I attended today and i was so happy with the service provided, the staff was quick and very attentive. The food was delicious, mom and I both enjoyed today and would recommend this place to dessert lovers. Thank you ever so much Roberto (manager) and staff. I will most definitely be visiting again very soon!

Visited on Sunday with my family. Delicious food and a wide choice of desserts. We felt very comfortable with the atmosphere thanks to the ambience and lovely and friendly staff. Gorgeously crafted delicious cakes! We always love their slices and my favourite is the lemon Cannoli, a must try! Ordered our second cake for a special birthday and my daughter and guests were simply amazed, the Black forest cake was simply stunning and equally delicious, never let's us down. Had a lovely late afternoon, sweet tooth, break at Caffe concerto. Our orders were taken by Roberto and his team. They were very friendly and polite. I had a chocolate gateaux and my wife took the black forest gateaux. They were absolutely delicious! The tea and coffee went fantastically well with it. This was the first time I've ever had anything from cafe concerto but after that gateaux I think it's safe to say these guys now have a life long customer. Well worth a visit! You can enjoy fantastic treats while watching the world fly by at the station.

Bought a cake from here, it was super tasty. Sponge is very moist and the cream filling isn't too sweet either. Dark chocolate used in decorations which was much appreciated. And it looks pretty.

My husband and I had a lovely breakfast this morning at this cafe. It was the first time we visited this place and must say it is a lovely place to eat the staff is so well mannered and professional, the food and coffees delicious and with a special touch. Can't give 5 stars due to the very loud background noises. Could barely hear what the man at the counter was saying while placing my order. It is such a shame. When I enquired about the noises they told me that some works upstairs are taking place, I believe this is a very negative point for the venue. Will try to visit again but not really keen.

The best Sunday experience ever. Me and my family went to Cafe Concerto, as any other place they have a new serving system but very efficient. We've been asked to queue and been served very quickly, not long waiting like other places. Our server, Roberto, was amazing and passionate about his work as he gave us the best recommendations on food and cakes, we went there for a cup of coffee before going for lunch somewhere else, but he convinced us to stay and we ended up to have a lovely meal in the cafe. He was particularly sweet and caring with my elderly mother. The food he recommended to us was worthy the money and the cakes definitely a perfect choice. Our drinks were so tasty and the best coffees we had in a long time, prepared by another man, I believe his name is John or Josh. We usually go in Birmingham at least once a month, and we will make sure that from now on we will visit Cafe Concerto. Thank you Roberto and J. for your service, we are looking forward to visit you and your team again.

I brought my daughter for a Monday blues pick me up. She is gluten free and there was a choice of two delicious looking cakes to choose from which was a bonus. The only negative was I ordered an iced latte and it came without the cream (the best bit) so I had to go up and ask for it to be added. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit though. We were served by Marina and she was very polite and helpful.

Whenever my wife and I visit Grand Central Birmingham we always find time to enjoy a drink and a delicious cake at Caffe Concerto. The service is always very good and the staff are very friendly. Today however from the manger down they went beyond exceptional. Having purchased cakes and drinks I had the misfortune of knocking over and smashing both drinks and ruining the cakes before I had chance to reach a table. The staff could not do enough for us and replaced the entire order. Having appreciated the exceptional service I tried to reward the staff for there efforts. Both the manager and a female assistant thanked me but would not accept my offer. After a while the assistant came over to our table to check everything was ok and the manger did likewise when we came to leave. I can only thank all the staff once again and they can be assured we shall be visiting again very soon and I shall be lauding there service to all.

Lovely lunch. My wife and I went in Concerto restaurant for lunch. We had tuna roll and chicken and bacon one with a lovely black coffee we had an amazing time. Barbara Roberto and Aorora served us and made our day much better. It's very nice to find people who are smiling to customers and make the environment happy. Excellent.

Went today with my husband to have a quick meal before going home. We sat at the bar by the sink and Roberto, our waiter, stopped washing the glassware to serve us. Very quick service. We asked for two glasses of prosecco and he proposed us to have a bottle instead, we ordered some baguettes too, a Brie and sunblushed tomatoes and one bacon and egg with mayonnaise, must say DELICIOUS FOOD. We did not plan to have any desserts but when he started to describe their cakes we had to try them and those cake were very tasty. Even if he was busy washing and serving other people he always found a second to smile at us, and others, and also entertain us with a quick chat. Very happy with today's experience, he made our stay at Café Concerto very pleasant. The service though dropped down when we left. We were looking for Roberto to give him a little tips but apparently he finished his shift and a woman and a man replaced him at the bar. When we tried to ask about him to the guy he just ignored us and walked away so we left. Despite this still 9 out of 10. Hope to return in Birmingham soon and definitely will come back to visit this place again. Thank you for your lovely service and food.

Lovely and wide selection of cakes & desserts. I love the black forest gateaux! The others look nice too so I’m gonna come back for them! I was served by Sadaquat who was very friendly and helpful in giving recommendations and introducing me to some of the deals they have. Great selection of desserts. The coffee is fantastic! I've tried the honey cake and the chocolate gateaux and they were delicious. Totally recommend them. The only downside is the noise, being in the heart of a shopping mall contributed to that fact.

Visited yesterday for a glass of wine with a friend. We been served by Roberto, a man with blue jumper and a tall blondish guy. With their enthusiasm they gave us a 10/10 experience. I have been to caffè concerto with friends, colleagues and families quite a few times and my experience is always been excellent. Last week I went with my husband and kids and I must say what a great afternoon at caffè concerto in Birmingham. Staff are always very helpful and friendly making us feel very comfortable. Even our children loved the place and they enjoyed “having a chat” with the friendly staff! Roberto, made our afternoon at caffè concerto a great experience. He is very professional, smiled all the time, helped us to choose the sandwiches and cakes attending with accurate details and answered all our questions. We visited Caffe Concerto on New Year's Day and were quite impressed. The cups are a good size so you get a good serving of coffee. All too often many Cafe's serve theircoffee in tiny cups which aren't enough. I had a Flat White which I really enjoyed. There are a fine selection of Pastries and cakes, I had a Mille Feuille which was really fresh and tasty. The Cafe' itself is in a nice location above Grand Central station concourse and the chairs are very comfortable too. All in all, a nice place to spend time which I would recommend.

The cake is so nice. I love the black forest, had tried strawberry and chocolate mousse..they are lovely and nice too. It situated in grand central which is very nice view and atmosphere to spend with lovely friend. Delicious choice. We asked for a couple of glasses of prosecco and tap water but Roberto recommended a bottle instead and saved it at the table for us. He came often to double check every was OK. The atmosphere there is so relaxing that you could spend the whole afternoon. So we decided to have 2 more bottles. Special Thanks to David, Georgeta, Iqra and Roberto. Hi, Amanda here. Just had my holidays done and back home to Australia now. This morning I opened my purse and I found a Caffè Concerto receipt. We went there on September 18th, we had 1 double expresso, 2 Lattes, one hot chocolate and 1 palmier and 2 muffins. We travelled all over U.K. been in Scotland and Wales and we tried many cafes but in Birmingham we found the best coffee in U.K. the same as the one from my favorite coffee shop here. The staff was very happy and always smiling at us. They were very helpful and ready to answer any of y sister's quetion about food and allergens. The service went up to 10 stars when around 10 a.m. an emergency occurred in the mall and the staff keeping it calm managed to invite the customers to leave. The gentleman, I guess the manager cause of his different colored shirt, helped everyone to the nearest exit being patient with those slow customers. When everything went back to normal and we were allowed again in the mall we went back to the Cafe where the staff was already there ready to help. They kindly waited for us without wasting our food. We had a sit and the gentleman came to us inviting us for a new coffee o a house because mine was cold. We refused and told him I like my coffee cold. Before we left I went to the till to give them 20$ in tips. But they could not accept it because was by card and they can accept tips cash only. I tried to insist so the gentleman told me if I wanted to make them happy I could write a review mentioning their names so he noted the staff names on the receipt and gave it to me. I hope this can be helpful and if in future if I travel to U. K. again I will certainly go back to Caffe Concerto. Thank you David, Georgeta, Iqra and Roberto.
