Nice small cafe, Halal, been coming here for years, the milkshakes are absolutely divine. All hot cooked food is freshly made and of good quality. No designated parking, will need to park on the street, it is free for an hour. Worth a visit.

A great English breakfast which was served steaming hot. Coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice was very good. Orange juice was a bit steep @£4.00 for a regular size. We got served pretty quickly. But then again we were the only customers there. We don’t usually have breakfast. So it was a one off which we really enjoyed. Everything was cooked to perfection. Oh, one gripe was that the toast had margarine on it as opposed to butter. There is one suggestion I’d like to make. The English breakfast consists of: 2 slices of toast 2 fried eggs 1 hash brown 2 Rashers Turkey Bacon 2 Sausages Baked beans Tomatoes and onions That’s a lot for people with small appetites/ladies. Would be great if there was a smaller option. Other than that food and service was great. Place is tastefully done up. Was lovely to eat in and hope to visit again.

Had a Cajun panini meal from here which was pretty tasty. Portion size wasn’t great for £6+ but the food was quite nice and spicy Mayo was also tasty. Ample seating available, they accept card too which was a good bonus and the place was pretty clean. Nice Lad who served me was helpful and polite. Surprisingly English food for the area it's in, burgers, chicken, pasta and amazing looking deserts. Reasonably priced and large portions. Far more than I could eat in one sitting, didn't have room for a desert too. Staff are friendly, but I wouldn't describe it as table service once you have ordered, pretty much you do the rest after that. Large range of deserts and freshly made cake if that's your thing.

A nice place for lunch, with decent portions and very good service. The main waitress is so friendly it almost makes you feel like you're at a friend's house! The food is freshly prepared and yummy, but not gourmet; this is probably not their goal anyway. They've got really good deals during the week as well. I've eaten there 5 times already and recommend the pasta dishes (massive!), jacket potatoes, paninis... The salads are nice but on the small side. Overall, good for a friendly outing but perhaps not an evening meal.

My second visit here in the last few months. Tried the bounty milkshake on my last visit and it was really tasty. Had waffles with strawberries and Nuttella on this visit and I was really impressed with the texture and quality of the waffle (i had a similar waffle from the Waffle House in London a few years ago for twice the price). Have to say that this place is clean and has really friendly staff. My party of 8 all really enjoyed their desserts, teas, milkshakes, and pizza. Competitively priced and great quality food, will be taking my family there soon.

Bought some overpriced Milkshakes from here with high expectations. I was sorely disappointed as the flavour of the chocolate was overpowered by vanilla ice cream. You would think that a shop as established as this would have their ratios down to a science by now. Clearly not ans never again!! It used to be good but it seems standards have dropped. Under new ownership perhaps? I have edited the review from 1* to 3*s as more recent experiences have been more pleasant.

The food is nice but the staff need some work. There was only one girl who seemed to be working. She was cooking the food on her own for all the customers dining in and delivery orders. The young lad who was front of house was polite but clueless. He kept asking her to make milkshakes. He was open about it telling customers he doesn’t know what he’s doing and how he forgets orders but this is unprofessional. Tea was missed with my order and others around me had been waiting a very long time for their food. Please get some better trained staff who can handle busy times. If it wasn’t for the girl cooking they would have been screwed

Was decent, not the brightest at customer service as I had to get up and tell them my order. Also had to request the drinks with the breakfast that normally staff should ask. Food was tasty although the beans were cold? Would eat again as they have nice desserts.

We came to Cravings after ages because we had decent service and decent food, and it was local to us, so we were confident. We entered the shop, and we weren't acknowledged by the gentleman behind the till area. We stood there for a solid 4 or 5 minutes without anyone acknowledging us in the slightest. The gentleman behind the till was very busy making milkshakes, but he did eventually turn around to us and asked us very politely to take a seat. When we were seated, we wanted to sit in a booth, but all the booths had the previous customer's plates etc, so we sat where it was suitable. Keep in mind, there was NOBODY else attending to customers. We waited maybe 10 mins for our order to be taken, but nothing (this is because the one man in the shop was busy making these milkshakes). I went up to the til to make my order, again I wasn't being acknowledged (!!!) until a very polite young man who asked me to take a seat and assured me our order will be taken. But guess what? This young man wasn't even an employee of Cravings, but a friend of the owner. Again, there is nobody except the man making the milkshakes who still sadly hadn't acknowledged us, and the young man who didn't even work there. Our order was taken, we waited maybe 15 mins for our food. The food itself was fine. My only advice for this place is to have more than one person on the shop floor. How can you expect one man to serve, make the food, clean up? They need more than one person manning the floor.

It's alot bigger than it looks. Can cater for over 50people. Has Boothe's where groups of 6/8 can sit around a table. Has large tables to cater for large groups aswell. Definitely go there again.

You need to try their breakfast here one off the best breakfast in the area. Well worth it for £5 you get 2 breaks 2 eggs 2 turkey rashers 1 large sausage. Beans and tea ir coffee. All for 5 pounds it will fill you up and tryst me next 6 hours you will nit need to eat. Breakfast is the best meal. It you start right day goes right only thing they need to do breakfast from 7am. But I know its sparkhill drug dealers wake up at 12 live their breakfast 10 10

I am quite a regular customer at cravings and I can assure people that it is a great place to be as it provides splendid service to all customers and is newly refurbished which makes the design of the cafe look spectacular. Moreover, the staff are amazing and very friendly (special mention to Javiie) and they cook amazing food! BEST PLACE ON STRATFORD ROAD Well firstly the service was impecible. Got our chicken parmesan really quick and my spicy chicken baguette wich was absolutly lovely.
