z. a.I was told about this place by a friend who sung it's praises highly for the coffee; I had to check it out. I wasn't disappointed, the coffee beans were of great quality and the barista also made my coffee the way I requested; even though it wasn't on the menu(Spanish cortado). The cakes were lovely,I had a biscoff cheese cake. I was so impressed it's become my local now for coffee. They are still building up their food menu as they are new
D. C.Love Milano Coffee is open for business. I have often walked down Broad Street and seen this coffee shop in its semi-constructed state. I wondered if it was going to open soon or was ready to be torn down.
I walked in and immediately my eyes lit up. This is a bright, clean space. I love the pink flowery theme. Scratch a little deeper, is it trying to be a ice cream parlour. Given its name, it didn't feel like a coffee shop.
It's also lacking a toilet. Odd for a place of its size.
The Love Milano Coffee staff member was a picture of humbleness and politeness. With the right training they will be able to make a wonderful looking coffee. With the right supplier they will be able to make a great tasting coffee.
Love Milano does offer food too. It has a selection of paninis, wraps and sweets, but nothing to grab the eyes.
With huge competition in the coffee shop sector in Birmingham, I can't recommend Love Milano. I would be doing a HUGE disservice to "the greats". If you are on Broad Street and in need of a good coffee please visit one of the following:

- Boston Tea Party - Edgbaston
- Cacao By Ali, Waterfront Walk
