H. V.In an honest review, the food is quite pricey for what you get. The staff are not friendly at all and the guys behind the till was kinda rude.
Out of three of the staff we interacted only one was okay.
I would definitely not go back there or recommend the place.
R. S.I had a lovely brunch at this cafe this morning. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was really tasty.
S. R.I actually said oh my god when this just arrived had the Urban Brekkie which could feast two people. The best breakfast I have had in a very long time. Staff friendly and attentive surroundings hip and chill much recommended. 🦋
R. S.Had breakfast here last Saturday and overall happy with quality of ingredients, although the bacon was streaky and slightly dry, could not taste any Cajun on beans. My main complaint is about the poached eggs, please can you drain before putting on plate, had to use two napkins to soak up the water!
L. L.Found this place after a quick Google search and is wanting a spot of brunch whilst visiting Birmingham. Really efficient service and got a seat outside to make the most of the sunshine. We both thoroughly enjoyed the eggs Benedict, one with bacon and the other with mushrooms. I enjoyed an iced latte, really good, nice and strong! My fiance had a berry smoothie, also tasty. £23 for this lot so a great price for a tasty brunch and good service.
Y. M.Went to Urban Cafe (Church Street) for their Bottomless Brunch, I use their venue in Jewellery Quarter so had a good idea of what to expect. Their breakfast was ace, it came out quicker than I expected based on the fact that the Cafe was full to capacity. We opted for the Mimosas which were promptly topped up a few times and had a great Juice to Prosecco ratio. Would definitely have their BB again, but would upgrade for the Pastries. Thank you Urban Cafe for making the start to my sisters birthday so awesome!
K.On the more pricey side of coffee shops in comparison to others in the area. Service is friendly and food is nice, but can be really difficult getting seating as the place is small, and the chairs/arrangement is quite tight. It costed just over £10 for a long black coffee and avocado toast w/halloumi.
h. l.Lovely delicious vegetarian breakfast, nice coffee too! The only thing I would say is that it’s a little over priced.
